I've been scraping all day using 747 from 60 yr old house in 6' x 10' bathroom. This is hard work! My tar is definitely a lot thicker and harder than your floor. Used Oil Flo absorbent. I got about 1/2 floor pretty good. Going at it again today. Just a caution that this isn't easy work.
😂 agreed I been at my floor for roughly a week wen I started looking up diffvakternatives and ended up with 747 and fir mine is only roberts 6700 carpet adhesive but still not easy
It depends what type of glue your using it on

kerosene works best
Tell me about it. I soaked my floor all day and added more and it still won’t come up.
This stuff is a horrible product. I'm doing my basement and at this rate it's going to take years.

Tell me about it. What did you end up using? I’m still trying to get the mastic removed
Can this be used on wood floors to remove aphalitc mastic?
Purchased 4-5 gallon containers and let dwell for over a hour w agitation and this stuff did not work one bit! Will not be using this product again.
Tried it... it works, but I would not use it again. Vegetable oil works well for asphalt based mastic and it's far cheaper.
Use a wallpaper steamer. Comes right up
