do you know what 4 industries they still serve? Spectrum, Boise, etc.? I model this Branch and it's been very difficult to find any information. Thanks!
They still serve Boise Cascade and Plywood Supply in Maltby. In Woodinville they still serve Spectrum by costco and Matthew's Lumber. The Matthew's Lumber cars go in on the old Bluelinx spur.
@@StuffBobbyDoesOh, I know. The smoke had nothing to do with my comment. EFRX109 went down twice due to a bad generator. Also, 109 is actually a switcher locomotive, and is not properly geared for the grade it endures coming out of Snohomish. A stronger generator would really help them. The Current engine is a EMD 645, it has plenty of power, but the outgoing generator limited what that 645 could put down. 109 as it is, can pull most loads just fine, but when there's a backlog of cars, it struggles or the crew have to make 2 trips. They had a loaner GP20 at one point of time, and that Locomotive didn't even break a sweat with the cars that it pulled up to Maltby from Snohomish.
That engine is like a steamer...WOW! :-o
Smoke 'em if ya got 'em!
Great video!!! Love those short lines!!
Really nice work here!
I enjoy all of your videos. I drive around Woodinville a lot and I keep thinking I see a wye. Is there one at the south end of town?
Yes, there is a wye at the south end of town. The south leg of the why is where the locomotive and caboose are kept.
Does the locomotive have a different bell than before?
Red Car Needs A Fine For Making A U Turn 0:38
What's funny about it is they actually wasted time by doing it. They'd only have had to wait for the engine and caboose.

Fiddleman, appreciate the information. I've seen cars at Blue Lynx and I was wondering what that was about.
Eastside freight really needs another engine.
Apparently you don't know a cold engine when you see one. White smoke is unburned fuel.
