I think you taught me something, I'm still coming to grips with it though. let me get this straight. because the 6150RF is wireless, you enrolled the keys to it, not to the system itself. Question: Why? I've only ever done fobs once and it was through the wireless receiver to the system. and I had to do a lot of learning to figure that out. BTW, youve taught me more than the manual ever will, keep it up!
Yes, the FOB is enrolled only in the 6150RF. The Vista panel is not involved in the enrolling process. The keypad keeps track of the FOB use and operation. However, the Vista does ensure you have entered the correct security code when you enrolled the FOB. I tested this by deliberately programming the wrong security code, the Vista would not arm. The 6150RF sees the FOB S/N during transmission, then sends the programmed security code to the Vista thru the data lines, just as if you entered the code into the keypad. According to the documentation, you can use the FOB with the 6150RF even if the 6150RF receiver is not enabled. I figure the 6150RF must use a different receiver specifically for the FOB's. (I haven't had any reason to test that though). in addition to much easier FOB enrollment if using the 6150RF, you don't eat up 4 zones in the Vista like you would do if you were to use the Vista for enrollment.

As near as I can tell, the tremendous increase in commercials is part of You Tubes plan to drive people away from their video sharing platform. Even I have started putting out feelers to move some where else.

I'm sorry, as far as I know, you can't. The FOB just arms and disarms the entire alarm. Each Zone that you want to bypass (such as the safe) must be done from the alarm control panel. If any alarm installers know a way around this, please let us know. I love learning new stuff.

Victims put in their alarm after they have been robbed. Paranoids put in their alarm before they get robbed. Sounds like a fun project that the Vista would be great for. Good luck!!!

Can you set the key fob to disarm a zone like the main safe? as you configured it for 24 hr monitoring.
