Aino has an amazing ability of describing complicated concepts in a simple manner... and make you realize that in the end, these things are not as complicated as you thought they were. You were just making them more complicated than they needed to be. 😀

Great talk. A lot of things I'll bring up with my own team. Thanks!
Valuable concepts exposed here. It's interesting how many scrum masters focus on applying theoretical frameworks without trusting their common sense and forbidding any flexibility/new practices required by the team given the scenario they have to work on. I think any agile practice has to be focused on the evolution of the team as a unit, which has a positive effect on the productivity; the rest is just noise. No blaming, no excuses, just be assertive and transparent enough to let the process flow and facilitate the communication.
solving 'missing a deadline' problem is a responsibility of a manager who set this deadline and who decided to use such emotionally charged term for setting a goal. 'Deadline framing' it is a type of double-speak, a kind of subconscious threat, a manipulative verbal stunt. I agree that it makes sense to assign responsible person for some task/story/epic, it also makes sense to work towards increasing velocity of a team by actually helping team members to solve specific technical problems. However, too often non-technical managers are just box tickers and task masters (see David Graeber's bs jobs book): they have very dim understanding of how system works underneath and they are incapable to actually help ... so they tend to invent and solve non-existing problems to prove to themselves and to everyone around that they are worthy. It may be a black-and-white treatment of situation and in reality there are no completely non-technical managers, but the biggest mistake of a typical IT manager is living in denial of implementation details, nuts and bolts of their projects ... as its for sure easier and you don't need to know much to be such a person ... but it often comes at the expense of everyone else involved in such enterprise.

Another speech about obvious things… you need only think to get to all those conclusions by yourself… “sometimes you have people that they don’t want to take responsibility” .. what you do then ? Do you really need an example based on data? People are different teams are different… use your head then that’s all
Chaotic. Unorganized. I have no idea what this is about. I'm shocked what hateful and noninclusive words she picks. First the thing about skin cancer then later the GrumpyOldMan in her excel sheet. Unbelievable.

It's pretty obvious to me at least that there's no bad intent behind the metaphors.
From the two comments you made in this video alone, I would say you have a tendency to over generalise. "every tech conference has horrible audio". "all team meetings suck". Have you ever questioned if you may be exagerating? In which ways can you contribute to make your team meetings better?

Why does every tech conference video have horrible audio?
So that you give enough attention to hear the speaker.
Thanks for the first

There is no such thing as a team meeting that doesn't suck.
