The most funny thing about the Abdullah the Butcher thing is that it wasn't the only time somebody "died" and then just came back on a Halloween Havoc PPV. The Giant fell off the roof of the Arena "to his death" after a monster truck thing with Hogan, only to completely no sell it and come out for his World Title match against Hogan later in the night like nothing happened.
Not just later in the night.......it was part of the same segment. He falls off the building. Hogan screams in horror, and starts crying. Then comes to the ring, still crying, because he essentially just killed a guy. And then out comes the Giant, and later in the segment a giant mummy came out, and for reasons that were never explained, they proceeded to start dry humping Hogan's legs.

the "judy bagwell on a forklift" match was actually just a regular winner gets the valet / manager / whoever's contract match, which was common, and they actually still do.. the fact she was on a forklift really had nothing to do with the match stipulation. much like lesnar vs reigns was not a tractor match, but there was one in it.
God i miss it sometimes. The announcers just ignoring half of what's happening in the ring to talk about what the nWo is up to, and the fans pelting Hogan with garbage, it really was a wonder.
Wasn't WWE crazy or even crazier at the same time? Yet WCW is the bar for stupidity WCW didn't have Hawk commit "suicide" on TV and then not even follow up on it if I'm not mistaken. That's like a million times stupider than something like "That's the Wall" or Warrior's reflection, or the Shockmaster or anything you can think of.
The finish between Sting and Hogan makes perfect sense. Hogan (as usual, didn't want to do what was best for business) bullied referee Nick Patrick into doing a regular count knowing what would happen and that it would make Sting and Bret Hart look stupid as a result.
I will always love WCW. Yeah, it’s had its issues. But 1992 WCW Saturday Night was my first introduction to pro wrestling… and I was a tween through the Monday night wars… so I freaking loved it. 😊

Nothing to do with Owen. Not even sure which one came first with that sting dummy. Owens wife even says they were spoofing Sting when they had Owen coming down from the rafters.
i'm not sure anything wcw did can match the craziness of a 70 year old Mae Young getting "pregnant" after several scenes talking about having sex with Mark Henry, including them in bed together and then she gives birth to a hand! which didn't even promote anything! (also... Katie Vick)

wcw was the worst and forever be the worst. There wasn't anything creative or entertaining at all. I always turn off my tv after few minutes if wwe shows old wcw matches.
The fact that hogan was given complete creative control is nuts wcw truly was a wacky promotion
If WCW was still around, Hogan would still be there on his 62nd world title.
But that was the only way they can get hogan 😂
I know but still lord have mercy wcw was awful from 99 to 01😂😂😂@@ojlott-w4n

That moment when you realize the pyro in the Chamber of Horrors match was better than the Exploding barbed wire deathmatch in AEW.
