Tf is short deck
Short deck: All of the 2’s, 3’s, 4’s and 5’s are removed from the standard 52-card pack leaving a game where only 36 cards are used. This means the 6 is the lowest card…. Unless you use an Ace as low.
As in traditional Hold’em the Ace can be used as either a High or Low, but in the Short Deck version of the game it can also make up the low and high ends of a straight. As in: • A 6 7 8 9 is classed as a straight (In this example the Ace is classed as a ‘5’)
In Short Deck Hold’em • A Flush beats a Full House - This is because mathematically it is harder to make a flush than a full house from the reduced deck.
In regular Hold’em, players with suited hole cards and two community cards of the same suit have nine cards in the deck from which to make a Flush. Playing the Short Deck game reduces this to five cards. This means a Flush is far harder to hit.

Yong had 3 9's and 2 Queens. Phil Ivey had a club flush. As far as I have ever known, 3 9's and 2 Queens is a full house and a full house is supposed to ALWAYS beat a flush. So why didn't it happen this time? ☹☹😞😞👱♀👱♀👗👗👠👠❤❤❓❓❔❔⁉⁉
Not in short deck which is what they are playing here, short deck removes cards 2-5, making flush rank higher than Full House. :)

They're playing on short deck meaning the 2, 3, 4 and 5 cards have been removed so 6 is the lowest card available. At 10:23 Rudoy would need the turn card to be a 7, 9, Q or A to improve to a straight draw, a K would give Phil a set but if the river was a J then Rudoy would get a full house, and a J would give him a set. Therefore, the safest card for Ivey is 6 as Rudoy will have no chance of connecting with the board even if the river comes.
Flush will also beat a full house as the probability of obtaining a flush is now lower in a short deck.

Love it when the pros" are telling us that poker is a 100% skill game. LOL, GTFO. Flopping 2 pair and then a boat is skill? Pockets queens are skill? AK is skill?? Ace of clubs and 8 is a skill when there are 4 clubs on the board? And so on. This is a joke. We all play good poker with good or great hands. Surely there is skills needed but this game is largely luck, short run 90-95%, long run around 75%.

I respect Phil Ivey mindset.
The commentators on these poker vids from FuryTv is somewhat strange i belive. I dont know if the sound engineer on this one is drunk or maybe play a sidegame on his phone or something. It’s like this on all of them. Commentators sound as if they are in different rooms and at the same time as if they sat right next to the table. Maybe it’s there voices i dont know but they sound weird. And if you Ask me (i know no1 does) they are really bad in commentating.
