While they seemed to get better with the R614 and R614-1. Version 2 and Version 1 and whatever they call it in the US under JAG Precision, their lies about being TM SPEC Airsoft pistols are blatant. 3rd market compatibility is a huge trial and error process. They do perform good out of the box and get better when you get lucky with aftermarket parts. I’m talking from personal experience. Was able to upgrade the inner barrel (123 mm Unicorn, Maple Leaf hop rubber, EMG JW3 recoil spring, and Hop Chamber internals from Maple Leaf. Just recently got lucky with replacing their stock piston cap with AIP that has a better seal, getting rid of FPS inconsistencies. The loading nozzle has ZERO TM compatibility and you need to really dig for the stock nozzle availability. Not many stores carry their brand in our country due the issues with parts. I will be upgrading the nozzle spring and soon, firing parts with steel hi capa aftermarket parts. Hopefully I get lucky with those since the so called R614-1 competitive version parts are non steel. Overall, you get a good collector’s gun (PIT VIPER and SAND VIPER) at a low price but with the issues regarding parts and customer support, you end up with a fancy paperweight or display piece. Army Armament or JAG PRECISION. All the same under all the marketing hype. Buy but be prepared to hunt down compatible parts.

I have the Sand Viper, with the Alpha and Pit Viper sitting at SoGo Airsoft, waiting for me to pickup tomorrow. I love the SV, nice to have iron sights on the PV. I just dont know how the Alpha adds to the mix...... Great work Mike!

Just slap a maple leaf barrel and hop setup in your jw3. You'll have to file down the hop unit a little to make it fit, but my god does it make a difference. More accurate, even louder and more kick! Might put you over the fps limits though as the maple leaf setup has a better seal.

It looks amazing. I love the John Wick movies and have also wanted to start getting into airsoft. I’m conflicted with getting this, the EMG 2011 combat master, or the EMG G34 combat master. I'm kind of leaning more toward this or the 2011 combat master. Which one would be the best for me?
I've got all 3....if you want realism, pick the asg C02 jw3 from patrol base, the emg tti is good but doesn't have the hard kick and the sound......the pit viper is amazingly accurate with a brilliant kick....shame its green gas

Weird that EMG made their own Pit Viper but never ran for the official airsoft gun. As for the Glock Combat Master, I went for Umarex/ VFC build. Glock 17 gen4 and G&P TTI Slide to imitate a G34. It ain't perpect so it needs a new sights and magwell. Magwell is the most needed. And of course, basic G17 is John's most used gun by far if you watch all the films..
