You’re right… Nice catch. If you do a search for him on RUclips, you can see his incredible talent. Where a lot of impressionist impersonate with their voice he was able to do it with his face. His Gary Cooper is priceless.
Yes I was in my early teens at this time. I remember seeing this show on TV but didn’t watch it. To me the Petries and their lifestyle was too affluent to be considered normal regular people. I lived in a small town and we were lower working class. They looked impossibly wealthy to me. Now 60 years later they are entertaining and I wish I could live in those times again. Life was simpler and not dominated by technology. We actually read books and went out hiking in nature. Politics were something far away that I had no interest in. I was a kid interested in comic books and model airplanes.
@@garyfrancis6193did you just say the sixties wasn’t dominated by technology? Yeah alright we’ll just ignore the literal billions of miles of magnet tape and that whole nuclear arms race thing. The ignorance is baffling you have the entire recorded sum of human knowledge at your literal fingertips and you’re still like this. You’re ignorant by choice, it’s the only explanation that makes sense.
I believe... I somewhat underdstand Rob and Buddy's plan.... was it to prove to Sally, that Freddy didn't really love her? I'm somewhat baffled on the plan.
The short, downy fibers on a new wool rug which come off in early sweepings, as contrasted with the pile, which does not brush off. To place or raise nap on (fabric) by brushing, or other means,
Nap is just the fibre of the carpet...the loop or tufts that form the visible part of the carpet. Sometimes you might want to raise the nap if it has been compressed by heavy furniture. You can do this by steaming to lift the nap.
SCRIPT WRITERS....get that into your head, it's all scripts, script writers, it was NOT Dick Van Dyke/Rob Petrie "bullying" Laura. It was a comedy script, it was never real life, and you're investing far, far, FAR too much into it if you believe any of it was real between them!
I used to watch this show when I was young, but the more I watched this show, the more disgusting I get with the storyline. I like the house and the way they dress. But I'm sick of hearing how single Sally is, and this show isn't that funny, especially buddy.
@@MrJoeybabe25 Yeah, when they were going out on a special occasion somewhere but I can't help but laugh when I watch someone like "June Cleaver" wearing a pearl necklace, a nice dress, and heels while serving breakfast for Ward, Wally, and Theodore. My favorite episodes are the ones where Sally and Buddy are a big part of the show.
I remember this Mark Guy but I laughed so much I couldn't stop when he made the impersonation of an Ostrich which was hysterical. I loved it.
That guy was pretty good with his impersonations!👏
Thanks for the upload.💜
Such class back then
Omgggg, yesss!!🙏❤
That is a kickass dress sally is wearing!!! Looove it
I thought she was pretty in the 60s and I still think she is pretty now!
This is my go-to show when life gets me down. I was born in 1961, so I am sure I watched this with my parents.
I was also born in (March) of '61 and watched this show with Mom & Pop, and I too watch TDVDS when life's got me down! (like tonight)❤❤❤
I was born in '63 & lost both my parents to a drunk driver in '68. I really hope they watched this show even if I didn't get to with them.

$41 for 2 to eat at a high class restaurant.
And now in 2023 it cost $41 for 2 people to eat at Wendy's. 💔
And doesn't include a frosty!
It's not _that_ bad quite yet. And for the record, $41 in 1963 works out to $411 now.
Prices go up & portion sizes go down 😢😮
@@micahbush5397 $41 dollars in 1963 silver quarters would be worth a lot more than that now.
Thanks for that. You learn something new every day.😁
Pretty good twist..
Being truthful all the way through.
Genius
9:38 Laura's expression is hilarious lol.
I noticed that, too! I was going to comment on it, but then I saw your comment. She was something to behold!
Mannn I wish sometimes i was born around this time, nothing is authentic anymore. My generation sucks….
This is tv show. Life was not a tv show in the sixties.
Same
I feel the exact same way

A cartoon come to life...
Expecting Buggs and Daffy any minute.
In Chicago, I had a next door neighbor who smoked alot who woke us up every morning with his coughing! Talk about a wake up call! Wow! 😀
alot is not a word.
@HansDelbruck53 Hi Hans! I know alot isn't a word, but it's the way I express myself sometimes. It should have been "constantly" instead 😀

I love the style and music from back then. I was born in the wrong generation. 😢
Poor Sally, she was thisclose to having her dream come true.
I wish he'd not call her mummy.
Yeah it's vomit inducing
Definitely a red flag if a guy calls his girl “mommy!” 🚩
@@StephanieJ777 definitely
You're not supposed to like the guy...
It sounds awkward to me too.
Before I watched this, I read your comment.
I thought you meant Ritchie. 😂😂😂
I think the Diceman picked up a few tricks from Freddy.
Thanks
That's what I was just thanking about about the price on Chinese food
Mommy, I can't stand that phony
Excellent show. QUIT INTERRUPTING!! 😐
What did Sally see in that jerk?

LOL
Tagline: Sally suses the lounge lizard.
14:33 Hilarious act
Under British influence, most of the USA had a good class of clothing back then.
"British influence?" How so?
Guy Marks. I can’t stand that guy.

That was the whole idea of the character, he's a good creep!
HEARTS FOR SALE?
It’s so cringe the way he calls her mommy. Anyways, it’s appropriate because the guy was a man-child
Rob bullies Laura way too much. She's a brilliant actor, and this show was her first big break.
Bullies?
I don't know what show you were watching, Marina, but it sure wasn't this one!
she was an actRESS. actORS are males.

That's right! They won all those Emmys because of the house design & the nice clothes 😂 What a joke 🙄
A good show but I grew up in a family when a man wore a suit he was headed for a funeral.
In 1963 men wore at least a jacket and tie and women wore skirts and dresses.
Nowadays? I don't think I can even write that sentence!☹☹
