comment in the description! 🤣 “hi I’m in the description area now what do I do?” You literally have a chopping block. Awesome. I actually needed to see this video because I saw a real bad hack job of wiring recently and didn’t know there was a way to hide the wires so thanks for the informative video.
Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate the kind words. I’m sure that rack will be coming in soon. It seems like just about everything is back ordered.
When you do your video on your light bar, can you show how you mounted the traction boards? I just got the prospeed rack and I am trying to figure out all the mounting options. Glad I found your videos!
Thanks for watching the video. I’ll have a traction board mounting video within the next couple weeks, after I do the light bar install video. Glad you like the videos.
Thanks for watching the video. So far it’s lasted about 8 months with no signs of pealing. 3M tape is used in a ton of applications. Just have to make sure the surfaces are cleaned really good. It’s endured hot temps, cold and rain.
Thank you for watching. I thought it would draw more attention to the wire hider as it traveled above the windshield. The wires currently lay flat on the metal strip cover for the drip rail.
John, I love your videos and the direction you're taking the Lexus/LC in, but I'm curious as to why you purchased this kit instead of just wrapping the wires in a loom and pushing them into the open channel alongside of the windshield? If necessary, a little silicone could hold the loom in place. I have a 2000 LC and am faced with a similar challenge. - Daric
Thanks Daric! I thought about wrapping them in a loom, however I didn’t consider using any silicone in the channel. The KC wire hider is super clean and affordable. You can hardly tell if there’s wires there.. Thanks again for your support. John
The kc strip is 20 bucks and it just looks so much cleaner than some loom that is siliconed into your channel. Now I only payed $20 straight up, if you get from KC or Amazon you're paying closer to $30.

Absolutely… I’ve made the mistake of drilling in another vehicle. I know there’s mating grade conduit out there, but this is simple and inexpensive.
@@LXPlore does it make sound when you travel at freeway speeds?
@@wayfaringoverlander Great question…no sounds at all.
When you don’t stuff all the time it’s called CRS . Can’t remember squat . Kids have it and it really starts after 40 lol
Lol… thanks for watching the video.
wow looks nice. new led bar look sick. I need to get around and install this my self. also love the traction boards as well, all flows well.
Mr James… thank you sir! I’ll have another video on roof top organization/ traction board mounting
@@LXPlore please do.
you should also consider rotopax and few lighting to light up the rear end!
@@MCJEDITZ10 I’m working with Prospeed in a Rotopax mounting solution.
@@LXPlore nice!
Another awesome vid! Thanks for all the good ideas! Still waiting on my Prospeed rack to come in though!

How long does it last on the windshield? It's only 3m tapes holding it

What does it look like from inside or is it not visible at all? Also Where did you get it. none of my regular shopping locations list it.
Hey Jaime… Thanks for watching the video, I can’t tell the wire is even there. . I purchased directly from KC Lights. There’s link in my bio.
I love it John. Im doing the same thing! How come you didn't use the the rubber strip all the way up the roof?
Thank you for watching. I thought it would draw more attention to the wire hider as it traveled above the windshield. The wires currently lay flat on the metal strip cover for the drip rail.
I just did this and the worst part, by far, is removing the red backing from the 3M tape. Lots of foul language was used.
Lol… yes, it was so hard trying to get the backing peeled off. Thanks for watching the video.
