Thanks, that was very clear and useful to me, who knows next to nothing about electrical stuff!

Thanks, I always feel like I ramble on! As the electrical stuff for conversions is always fitted after they arrive in the UK it's not easy to say how everyone's is wired up, but mine should be a fairly common set up (until I change it that is lol !!) Cheers :)

Great timing as my loom kit came today from eBay, very simple to fit, just follow the easy instructions, I bought the kit with the switch so I can turn the radio on or off with no key in the ignition, and the fuse spades fit in just like yours in your video and all works great, the coolant alarm was also very easy as I have not done much of this before...well not until my old Ford Cortina days, I think Bongos were designed to be tinkered with, great vans.

I like the 'Bongo's were designed to be tinkered with'!! I couldn't agree more :)
Glad your swap loom kit was an easy install, really useful bit of kit. Cheers!!

Can you do a video about taking the walls off so that you get access to the wires? That would be useful!

Hi, I've got a fairly big project to do at the end of next month that just might involve removing the plastic panels so stay tuned for that! cheers!

    Thank you 👍
I have a split charger to fit and a loom to change the lights, blinds and 12 volt sockets to leisure battery but keep putting it off 🤦‍♂️
Just don’t like doing electrical work to be honest 😳🤣
Will have to get on with it.

I think electrics can be quite daunting. If you have one of those swap loom kits from Ebay they are very good, I should really upgrade mine to one of those for peace of mind. When I finally get round to moving my electrics around I'll do another video that will focus on the actual wiring side of things.
Good luck if you decide to do it soon 👍:)

Question for you , I have a controller already but only has 3 power buttons for pump ,fridge and lights. If I wanted to add another control panel say a 5 gang on top of the 3 gang panel that I have would I need to wire it from the leisure battery same as the other control panel or can you daisy link it from the existing controller? Or get a 8 gang controller and re wire the bigger control panel?

As long as whatever your going to add to the extra switches isn't going to overload the current wiring you have then it would be possible to link it to your existing panel. It would be basically the same as just adding more switches. The 8 gang panel isn't a bad idea as well, as it might keep things neater?
