very fascinating game. i wouldnt say this was terrible play or anything, it just kind of is what it is because of how clearly out of their comfort zone both players appeared to be. which is a thing you very rarely see, usually one player has all the cards in their hand, but in this game both players are essentially bluffing they each have a royal flush when in actuality the Terran has a pair and the Protoss has a single Pokemon card.
So at the start of the game you say "if i take this 3rd base, and he goes 3 racks, i should lose", and that's exactly what happens, and you win. I feel like this guy should send in this replay and a IIIODIS form to you. I can see the report form now "i blind hard counter this protoss, i'm ahead the whole game, and then with just a prism and some disruptors he systematically pulls a win he never should deserve to win out of thin air". I really wanna see this game from his perspective with you casting it.
That'd be like getting a toaster, but rather than putting in bread you tape all your old dvd's together and put those in till they melt, and then try to eat the result.

I realized at about the 15 minute mark that when Harstem casts his own games like this, his camera in the corner looks like an in-game portrait. He looks to the right, looks to the left, looks straight ahead, takes a breath, loop. As a side note: I'd love to see Harstem use some kind of eyeball tracking software on a video sometime. Would be interesting to see how he juggles around.

Since I've started watchng the Captain, this has got to be my favorite game so far! Guerilla tactics, coupled with perseverance, a hope and a dream, definitely kept my interest throughout this match!! Cheers for many more such similar victories to come!
what an amazing game. I feel like back in wings of liberty days, one or 2 high templar was the 3 racks counter, your life at the 12 minute mark or 20 minute mark might of been a bit easier with some storms, for psi storming marine balls? other then that, an amazing game! wow

Like it was going to be disappointing at the end after nearly pulling off that clutch comeback, and that you were going to freak out…. As a complete outsider, the end actually made me end up in a Wikipedia article about languages in the Netherlands, because i wondered why would a Dutch person speak German so good. Turns out 70 percent of dutch people are trilingual. Impressive

@AeveryHawk well the trick might be to just always know when you'll be going shopping... So far i've managed to take them with me quite often, since i place them right beside the keys as i prepare to leave. The only times i don't have them while shopping is when i spontaneously decide to take a detour to a nearby store while the plan was to only do some other stuff...
I really feel like Protoss should be taking hidden bases in pro games more often- given how strong Protoss is defensively with recall, warp-ins, batteries, etc., even "illegal" bases when discovered might be held long enough to strike at an opponent's base when their army is out of position. Plus you're denying opponent minerals even if you get shut down

Is it the stalkers ability to survive more than 1 liberator hit in the early game imbalanced? I really don't see what's difficult to accept in this game.
