nice work, as usual you one of the best, i think this boombox needed a stronger sound board as the drivers can take more. the passive radiators not reacting that much. but still sound is good. keep it up.
Awesome work maaan! But you have to check the speaker connections, because they are out of phase👍😁. If they are in phase you'll get better bass out of this speaker👍

Cool petite boom box, j'adore ce genre de petit haut-parleur avec une grande excursion, mais malheureusement les radiateurs passifs ne bouge pas autant que je l'imaginerai , mais étant donné la taille du haut-parleur c'est vraiment difficile de faire mieux. Bonne 💪😎👍 vidéo

You absolutely need a high pass (bipolar capacitor) in front of the tweeters, otherwise they will be damaged !!! Keyword crossover ! otherwise nice design :)
They can't be damaged because the tweeters is 10w but amplifier can give maximum 5w.
@@VGBSpeakers that has nothing to do with it, low frequencies cannot be reproduced by tweeters, they are damaged by them, so the low frequencies have to be cut off with a high pass

@@nismo1082 dont worry, they will not burn, but the tweeters will sound bit distorted on high volume .
A 12uF 250V Polypropylene Capacitor will give you good results 👍

Great build. I'm thinking of building 3 or 4 of these for gifts. Did you not use a 5w amplifier for a reason? And is there a link to the tweeters and passive radiators? Thanks again.

A year late but I'm pretty sure its because those speakers are 3w RMS and only 5w peak and he doesn't want to push the speakers too hard ig

visually, the left and right sub seems to be phase inverted. that can explain too why passive radiators dont move so much ?

the passive radiators don't move much literally because there is a lot of them. Their overall surface area is bigger than that of those 2 drivers

Dun you need a crossover for the tweeter? MH-M38 can handle 2 4ohm speakers in parallel = 2 ohm right?
