Thank you for the awesome video!! Your explanation and clear guidance was phenomenal! I have been doing Christmas ornaments on tile but vinyl worried me bc eventually it peels off...not good from a sales prospective. Thank you!!! Love the coasters!! Gorgeous! Happy Holidays!! Keep your videos coming...new subby from PA!!!! 😊
If you watch other videos you'll see where permanent vinyl does significantly better than HTV on ceramic. I have various items with permanent vinyl that still look good several years later. So now I'm really curious as to how HTV is better than permanent.
Sorry I forgot to add something in the last message.....After I put the htv on I'm thinking to try dishwasher safe Mod Podge over it to seal it and protect it.
I've seen this for years but never tried it until today so I started doing some research. I've found some videos where permanent significantly outperformed HTV. I'm guessing HTV might be a better option only if you're putting it on something that will not be disturbed or handle to much? Have you used these tiles as coasters?
Just wondering, other than resin, what would you put to seal the tile? I heard acrylic and eurothane? I'm not too sure what either of those products would be?
EclecticNostalgia you can use acrylic or urethane, but on white shades it turns it yellow. Also, you'll need to put a lot of layers to create a smooth surface. I read somewhere that one coat of resin is like 40 layers of acrylic or urethane
The smooshing happened due to melting the actual vinyl instead of just the adhesive. Gorgeous.
These are so beautiful! Very classy looking! Oh my friends and coworkers would love these!!
Ty for the vid, this is what I was looking for….wanted to do Xmas tile tree ornaments with htv
Thank you and thanks for watching!

Yes, these are more decorative in nature. I have used them as coasters however and they seemed to do ok.
What heat setting are you using!
where did you get the designed sticker that you ironed on? I'm sorry I will like to try this and of course have no experience
I made it using my silhouette cameo. It's just split regal font for the split letter. I think I used olde English don't for the name inside
Do you think printable HTV would do the same and would not need a sealant???
I"m not sure as I've not tried.
where did you get that monogram? I love it
It's called split regal font. Can't remember where I got it from, but just google it and you can find it.
nice, please tell us the name of the fonts your using. Thank you
Regal split font

Where do you get your transfer vinyl from in Canada?
I'm in the US so I'm not sure about Canada. But like everything else, Amazon is a good bet.
@@ColorChangeCustoms no I live in Florida and I was asking where did you buy your transfer vinyl from?

Are those coasters glazed or unglazed?
Hi there, sorry for the late reply. I believe they are glazed.
