- www.truthforli... || By: Alistair Begg - The Reformation was both a revival and a theological revolution, and it remains vital for the Church today. Commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, Alistair Begg explains that Martin Luther faced a crucial dilemma that is common to all: how can undeserving sinners be pardoned by a holy God? The distinguishing feature of the Christian Church is the proclamation of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and the doctrine of justification remains the doctrine upon which the Church stands or falls.
This is so good, I wish there was a way to watch it afresh all over again. 😊
Thank you so much! I had to witness a terrible sermon last night in my German church. Cried all the way home 😢 pray for us

"If God thinks this state of war in the universe a price worth paying for free will...then we may take it it is worth paying."
~ C. S. Lewis
I wish I could like this sermon a zillion times. It is God's righteousness that we need to stand before God without fear or shame. Once we are forgiven and given His righteousness, we are in His great favor and more than able to walk boldly into the holy of holies to stand at the mercy seat.
Always learn so much from the sermons of Pastor Begg...Thank God for him....!
Thank you pastor Allstair Begg, for speaking truth from the Living words, with clarity and love to the flock. Thank you for your obedient spirit to the work of the Holy Spirit.
I love how Alistair Begg gets right to the heart of the matter. No one could misunderstand that message. It was clear as a bell!
Belief is a verb: despite what my eyes see and what cognition teaches I am determined to trust Jesus and depend on him to receive me into his kingdom, having accepted his free sacrifice on the cross: I will trust (verb) and obey, and if I inadvertently sin I will ask forgiveness.. Praise God for Pastor Begg and his incredible clarity, though widely well read and knowledgable.
Amen!
This really helped me. Think I'm going to watch it a few more times. :)
Excellent, as always. Thanks.
Thank you.
