Nice work... I just put a Roush H Pipe on my GT, and I love it. I ended up going with the Roush over the Steeda simply because it has a slip fitting on the back of the pipe as well.

I did the same to my 2015 GT and it sounds amazing with the stock mufflers. Peace

I had a Ford mechanic of all people tell me that just an H-pipe with stock exhaust will make it sound tinny and raspy. That's definitely not what I want for my '22 GT. Can you confirm or deny?

I didn’t think it did any of that. The H-pipe made it a tad bit louder

@@phelpsgarage4202 I agree. I've got a similar acceltec h pipe. Looks the same. Sounds slightly louder. Slightly.

@@phelpsgarage4202 well that’s kind a disappointing it’s only slightly louder. I just got mine yesterday and from what I was hearing the h pipe made it sound allot better and made it more that “slightly “ louder. Oh well. Do you have active exhaust?

    • @ay33773

@@Smokeshow767 it just gives it a different tone but I’d say it’s the same loudness I got a steeda x pipe on mine

@@Smokeshow767 depending if you have active exhaust or not, I’m quiet mode it will raise it about a few decibels louder, with track you’ll only be about 2-4 decibels quieter than an X pipe but will be about 10 decibels louder than stock I believe which is quite a bit for just a resonator delete. If you plan on doing headers it’ll open it up a ton.

Nice GT, did you experience any drone or interior vibration after installing Hpipe?

New 2022 Mach1 HP owner here. Im thinking about my Active Exhaust options to comply with racetracks that have noise restrictions. One of the options Im considering is replacing the stock resonator with two Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator bottles. Other option is keeping stock resonator and trying to fit regular Vibrant resonators behind it. Other option is an H-pipe combined with ultraquiet vibrants. Last option is magnaflow mufflered x-pipe for all-in-one is another Although I love the stock sound, I want to avoid getting kicked out of HPDE events when I use the Mach1 at W.O.T. Ive read that some M1 HP owners just pulled the AE fuse while the engine is running in AE quiet or normal mode, before pitting out on the track. Any suggestions?

This H pipe will make it a tad bit louder but not much. I don’t know of a system the would be quieter overstock.. What tracks would you be going to?

@@phelpsgarage4202 I have an HPDE day coming up at LCMT (Le Circuit Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada) and they have become extremely anal about sound over 92 dB. After your second black flag for noise, they kick you out, and your name is place on a list. If you come back on another day during the season and get busted for noise again, you are banned for life, regardless of what HPDE club and car you show up with. It's quite ridiculous how the Karen's living around the track have taken over ... I will see how things go in stock setup, and A.E. set up for normal or quiet mode....

@@dcaron9999 can you put small elbows on each exhaust tip to point the exhaust away from the exhaust meter on track?

@@phelpsgarage4202 That is another simple option I had forgotten about. Ive seen people use these at the track. Going to measure inside diameter of inner outlets, buy a pair of elbows, then test if I can jam them in there snug ...
