I went for the H pipe myself, less power gained but a better noise i think. Its my favorite mod.
Have seen a few RUclips videos of the xpipe giving as much as 40bhp more, probably something to do with the engine being so huge that it's easy to add big power with breathing mods.
Looking forward to the rolling road 👍

Nice install. You made it look rather easy. Always impressed with people that do these changes, mainly the cutting of the exhaust.

Enjoyed the video - I have 2018 GT Premium Performance Pack, 6 speed, Magna-Ride, Active Valve exhaust. I’ve left the car essentially stock. For me the exhaust is plenty V8 “sounding”. I haven’t lowered the car - have seen to many smashed front splitters. Also I have essentially an 8 year new car warranty from Ford. Recently had both front strut assemblies, to include dampers, replaced under warranty- Don’t want to hear “ you voided your warranty” by this or that. Happy motoring from The Republic of Texas 🤠

Good detailed install, thank you. Did you have any issues with the active exhaust malfunctioning after? I heard some people talking about being very careful with securing everything like the wiring harness for the active valves, otherwise it can cause them to stop working. Did you do anything special to ensure the wiring harness wasn’t going to rub? Thanks!

No issues at all, the wiring for the active exhaust is no where near where the new pipe is installed

Perfect thanks for the info! I haven't been under my GT yet. Waiting for the X-pipe to arrive, and then I'll tackle it! @@philscars

Ive only the 2 stands. You think you could get this done from one side or from rear lift?

Hmm, it might be tight but you could possibly do it using stands on one side

That x pipe is 230 lbs? Doesn't look that heavy.
