    Translation Notes:
    1. At 01:10, Marius picked up a bottle of medicated oil. The medicated oil that is mentioned here is a common Chinese medicated ointment which is mainly used for soothing purposes. For example, it can be used to relieve itches like in the story. Main ingredients include menthol, methyl salicylate, camphor, eucalyptus oil and other essential oils.
    - You can see a picture of it here: 5b0988e595225.cdn.sohucs.com/images/20180325/3dae129bf2bd4716b98269eeb922d8e8.jpeg
    - You can read more about it here in English: eaglebrand.com.sg/5-ways-medicated-oils-benefits-your-health/
    2. At 06:02, Vincent calls Marius "Second Young Master". However, I translated this and every subsequent mention of "Second Young Master" as "Master Marius" since that's how miHoYo localized the term in the official card stories.
    3. At 06:13, an aquarian serpent is mentioned. I translated the original Chinese term "jiaolong" as an "aquarian serpent" because that's the official term miHoYo is using for it. Although I can kind of see why they chose to translate it as such, it's inaccurate. A jiaolong is a mythical serpent-like creature with dragon blood that lives in rivers and seas. It is said that after surviving calamities for a thousand years, it can transform into a dragon and soar into the sky. So it's not a serpent, nor is it a dragon. There is no equivalent term/creature in English.

    4. At 06:45, Rosa says, "Maybe I'm affected by the serious atmosphere, or influenced by what happened before…" By "what happened before", she means the incident at the law firm pantry where she learnt about Marius' scandal. Just wanted to explain it in case it isn't immediately clear what she meant by this. I had to think about it. 😅
    5. At 12:10, Marius says, "I don't know if it's because my blood tastes sweeter, I tend to attract bugs". Hahaha, this is something that the Chinese like to say. If the mosquitoes like you, your blood must be sweeter than other people's blood. I guess this is something that the old folks used to say, so the younger people continue to say it too, but jokingly. To clarify, Marius is just joking when he says this.
    6. At 15:06, the text reads "His tone is ambiguous, but I still try my best to get the conversation back on track". I am sure I didn't translate this sentence wrongly because it is very clear that the original Chinese text states that Marius' tone/manner of speaking is "ambiguous/unclear". The thing is, I'm not sure about what? I feel like this sentence is trying to convey that Marius is trying to hint something to Rosa, but what? Is he trying to be suggestive here??? Lol, I've spent a lot of time thinking about this. If anyone has any insights or guesses to what this might mean, please let me know!
    7. At 17:43, when Marius asks the model if she really wants to "make the pretense real", he is asking if she really wants to make their fake affair into a real one. This is because she was asking Marius if he would enter into a relationship with her as a remedial course of action.
    8. At 24:50, Marius says, "Reputation is the epitaph of the dead. The matter is only concluded when the person dies…but at that time, his reputation will also become useless." An epitaph is a brief and concise commemorative inscription engraved on the tombstone of a dead person. So what Marius is trying to convey here is that a person's reputation is forever changing throughout the person's life based on the person's actions, and the reputation will only accurately reflect the actual behaviour of the person when they are dead. But because the person is now dead, the person's reputation is now worthless to him. This is because a good reputation can no longer be beneficial if the person is dead.
    9. At 25:22, the text reads, "In all honesty, Marius is the most "chill" plaintiff I've ever met". Although I think "chill" is a reasonably accurate translation, the actual word used literally means "Buddha-like", meaning to not care about worldly aspirations and just be chill about everything. The next paragraph ties in with this "Buddha-like" description of Marius: "He doesn't lack money, doesn't care about his reputation and completely doesn't have any demands with regards to the compensation terms. He seems willing to go with however I choose to handle the case." Just wanted to share this additional info because I think it's pretty interesting. 😄
    10. At 27:21, what the manager actually said is, "Yes, and as it happens, I am familiar with your reputation…. I've long known that Mr. von Hagen keeps you hidden away [in a golden house], so this is my first time meeting you in person". This hiding Rosa in a golden house is a reference to a Chinese idiom (金屋藏娇, literal: "to hide one's wife in a golden house") which means to let one's wife live in a luxurious house. This idiom can also be used to mean getting a wife. This is why Marius later says he'll do as the manager mentioned and "build a golden house to hide [Rosa] away".
    - If you want to read more on the origin of this Chinese idiom, you can can do so here in Chinese (please use Google Translate):

    11. At 35:05, Marius says, "Do you know what that bunch of old antiques said after the meeting was over?" Marius refers to Pax's board of directors as "those old men" (JP voice line), "those old guys" or "the senile board of directors" when you visit him, so I think that's to whom he's referring to as "those bunch of old antiques". XD Thanks to hanipollow#1055 on Discord for helping me track down these Marius' voice lines!
    12. At 35:55, a brisk scent is mentioned. It's Marius' smell (or his cologne). Rosa also mentions smelling this scent upon their first meeting in Main Story 02-04.
    13. At 36:07, Marius said that the people he was in a meeting with (pretty sure they are the Pax's board of directors; see note 6 above) said that "it is...absolutely improper, an offense against decency for me to stand on the stage looking like this". What the sentence is trying to convey is that those people felt that it was downright improper for Marius to look so "indecent" as the CEO of Pax Group because he has the public's attention as their representative, i.e. someone that is "standing on the stage".
    14. At 38:18, Rosa says, "The reason I did that is because…I like". Yeah, it sounds exactly this awkward and nonsensical in Chinese too! XD Rosa is trying to tiptoe around admitting that she likes Marius, lol.
    15. The name of this card literally means "engraving a mark", and I had previously translated it as "Engrave", but after reading the story, I'm pretty sure this "engraving" is actually referring to Rosa making her mark on Marius! XD So I think it's more appropriate to translate "镌痕" as "Marking" instead.
