I was going into 4th gear and just starting to stretch my legs when I saw that he let off so I still had plenty left for the long haul.

I gotta give it to them new Charger Hellcats being #1 top speed sedan in the world but I'm waiting for that 1000HP cts v hennessey since the regular cts v keeps up with the Charger Hellcat. At the end of the day I love both cars and that's why I own both brotha

+Anthony Perez Oh absolutely, there is no real joy of ownership by being a fanboy, just a fan of everything. I personally have a soft spot for the 70s stingrays, but shhh, don't tell anybody.

+Anthony Perez Nah man, I saw under his hood. I've walked RT Challys and Chargers too including a shaker or two. My last dyno showed 294rwhp/265rwtq without the benefit of my RAM Air induction (positive inlet closed induction system with high flow filter, 4 inch OD piping all the way to the ported throttle body with only necessary mandrel turns). Realistically with dynamic frontal pressure increase at the inlet as speed increases I'm making more and onboard SRT menu, as well as Palmer dash command, and Torque Pro all agree with my speculations.
300+ rwhp with the quick wrapping drivetrain characteristics (less centrifugal mass), highway gearing plus 8 speed trans that shifts fast and keeps a motor in it's highest apex of the torque curve in every gear without the disadvantage of dropoff due to gearing (I topped out at 155mph 1/2 through 5th gear on the dyno and have never even seen 6th-8th in a race), in a package that weighs 3850lbs + driver vs 450+hp depending heavily upon density altitude in a package that weighs 4400lbs, and had the added weight of a driver and passenger (realistically I'd say around 4800lbs) and it starts to make sense. I've since had the tune nailed down professionally and tweaked the mod formula a slight bit, but it's still the fastest Naturally Aspirated V6 Charger in the world right now.... until somebody comes along and does what I have done better than I have (researching, fabbing/prototyping, testing, and modifying).
Almost everything on my car mod-wise was built by yours truly so you wont find many off the shelf parts here for comparison. You are like most of the people that I ran back when I did that sort of thing, cocky going in (the more cubes effect), in disbelief during the run, appreciative and full of respect afterwards.... mutually I'd say.

You lost me at modified...obviously not a fair race, mine are both stock, but even modified I've seen simple set ups on a cts v destroy hellkitties...you are on the perfect site to search for them

+Anthony Perez Hey that is a good point, but that's why there were no hard feelings afterwards. As for searching, I don't need to, I've seen and rode in my fair share of tricked Vs in or around the 600-1k region, and they are awesome depending on the year (personal preference). This was simply a play that's it. My setup has been extensively tested and pushed in one direction (towards the top end) which is where I usually pull on higher powered setups assuming there is no spin on launch. Is my car representative of other v6 chargers? Only to a very small degree and only at my elevation. It's certainly not even in the top 10,000 fastest or most powerful rides in the US, but... it does make good power efficiently, and puts it to the ground very efficiently.
