Sucks you had to send it back ! I was worried mine would have some issues after seeing a few others with the same experience. But I finally got mine out yesterday and ran 140 rounds without any issues, hopefully it stays that way. Thanks for the update ! Nice to know sig was quick about it
@@Dontevenpretend I’m glad yours didn’t have any issues. It’s a nice pistol. I was surprised about how quick it was fixed.
"No excuses, some days i just suck." I hear that brother. 😂😂
@@angtornetta it happens. I need to work on my excuses haha
@averagemarksman 😂😂 keep up the awesome content.
@@angtornetta thanks!
We've all been there, bud! Lol
@@philipguisinger4502 it happens!!!!
Thank you for the update. You’re the first person so far that previously had issues to bring new information to the table on the Fuse.
I just wanted to document my experience. It’s frustrating when all you see is perfection from the folks who get the guns for free.
@@averagemarksman Been following your journey here with the Fuse, I got one as soon as they were released and had literally identical problems to yours. Figured it was a break-in issue, 300 rounds in and the fail-to-feeds have gone away. Just kept shooting, cleaning and lubing - thing runs without issue now (up to ~450 rounds through it). Was a rough break-in and I'm still a bit burned feeling by it, not sure I'll ever trust it enough to carry for defensive use cause I just don't know if that next round will be the one that doesn't feed.
@@averagemarksmanas to the three points they polished, I am clear as to the first two items polished, but not clear as to the “chamber transition”. Is that another name for the barrel feed ramp?
@@scvdeputy that is my assumption. The feed ramp was polished.
@@averagemarksman thanks!
Became an instant subscriber after seeing your video on how you did a comparison video of the Smith & Wesson comp versus the older model. You couldn’t feel the difference in felt recoil, and stated that the slide serrations were inferior on the new model. Now I see you’re the only one that had issues with the Sig P365 - Fuse. Brutal Honestly is such a rare commodity!
@@Quality_Guru thanks for subscribing and commenting. Brutally honest opinions hurt a few feelings from time to time but it’s got me pretty far in life. No reason to change it up now haha
i love this trigger on the sig p365 fuse! shot great with no problems, thank you sig
Good thing yours worked out of the box. Bunch of issues for folks.
Thanks for the update. Look forward to maybe a 1000 round review to confirm still not having any troubles?
Thanks for the update. Mine ran better the 2nd trip to the range. Hopefully the 3rd time is the charm.
I literally just got back from the range breaking in my P365 Fuse. I shot over 450 rounds (mostly 115gr FMJ, 1 box each of 124gr JHP, 147gr JHP).
I had ZERO issues whatsoever. One of only 2 guns, of all the guns that I own, that had ZERO failures during break-in.
That’s awesome. I think it’s going to be a great pistol.

Brutal Honestly is such a rare commodity! Looking forward to the comparison of this pistol vs the Shield Plus.
Brutally honest is the best policy. I can’t wait to get my hands on the new Shield.
My range experience is similar. A little frustrating. 3 FTF in the first 125 rounds. Took it home cleaned it, added more lubricant as it was very dry. Polished the chamber and feed ramp. Second trip 150 rnds, zero issues. Very accurate pistol. Like you stated. The thing should be 100% out of the box. I need another 5-600 through it without issue before it will go in my rotation. Good video.
@@oneshoeless sounds like yours did better than mine. I’m seen some that performed extremely poorly. Thanks for watching.
I polish feed ramps also. Usually fixes the FTF problem. Hopefully, SIG will address this at the factory production level.
Howdy. My fuse came back, but I haven’t been out to the range to test it yet. Notes in mine were extractor replacement and polishing transition, similar to what they did to yours. Was tested with SIG and Blazer 115 gr ammo. Glad to have it back, and am anxious to give it a good run. Will follow up after range trip.
Out of curiosity did yours get worked on by the custom shop? Someone said that isn’t normally the case. I look forward to hearing back.
@@averagemarksman Not sure if it was the custom shop or not. I will be at the range tomorrow to test it though
Mine says "custom shop" on the paperwork.
Put another 200 rounds through mine today so about 800 so far and still not one problem. Think I got lucky lol. I did install a reduced power sear spring and a reduced power striker block spring. Cleaned the trigger pull up a little bit. It breaks when you think it should now lol. I feel ya on the room for your support hand. I’m used to G19 or P320 handle.
@@BoDiesel20 if I keep it around I’ll make some changes to the trigger as well. Needs a little love in my opinion. I’m glad yours is running smoothly.
Liked your video. I don't have the Fuse, but had to polish a feed ramp on another firearm to get hollow points feed. It fixed the problem.
@@johndomutz1052 I’ve had to polish a feed ramp in the past as well. Quick solution most of the time.
Very nice Channel. Keep IT up. On Your opinion which one is better: p365 fuse or s&w mp ?
SIG is pretty good on warranty stuff. My X5 legion was throwing brass into the Romeo 1 pro... Cracked the glass. They replaced it and suggested using the light spring.
I’m glad they replaced it. At the end of the day it’s a huge company. They are going to have issues somewhere.
Thanks for the update bro.
I just purchased the Sig p365 fuse also. And yes... I to purchased it because
it looked and felt great in the hand! LOL! Hopefully I'll have a better experience
than you did but if I don't, it's good to know that Sig will take care of me. (Smile)
As for practicing with the platform you are going to use for self-defense.
I agree. That said, I practice with several different platforms because I want
to be well versed in all types of firearms. Just my opinion.
Stay safe and healthy
Peace
ps I think I'll polish my feed ramp before I go to the range.
Would you EDC this gun after the repairs? I would like to see you run more rounds through the fuse without any malfunctions.
Thanks in advance.
For me, I would like to see it make it through atleast 500 rounds without a malfunction. However, I carry a Shield Plus with a 3.1" - never had a malfunction and I shoot it very well so its going to take a lot to make we switch carry pistols.
I edc my glock 19 and was looking to replace it with the sig fuse. The malfunctions have me second guessing though.
Please let me know when you run 500 rounds through it malfunctions free.. thanks
Just shot my fuse today. Ran 250 rounds 3 different types of ammo. Thankfully 0 issues with FTF. The gun shot excellent. Let’s hope it stays this way after the next 1000 rounds
That’s awesome news. Did you have an optic on it?
Same here. I've put about 5 or 600 thru it, various brands, with zero issues. I do have the optic on mine as well. I did strip my fuse and oil it up a little before ever taking it to the range. But I always do that with newly acquired firearms.
I own several 365 X-Macro variants. All work well. Wondering if there's a significant difference between an X-Macro TacOps with a threaded barrel (4.3" OL) and the Fuze. Note the triggers do smooth out with use. Also, most of my pistols use True Precision either threaded or standard 3.7" barrels which have decent feed ramps.
I highly doubt there's a significant difference. I'm familiar with the triggers smoothing out. I put well over 1000 rounds through an X Macro. I'm not saying the trigger is bad - I'm just not the biggest fan.
@@averagemarksman LOL, copy. But they're self defence carry guns and I'm leaving them in factory status in case of any legal questions...
always great and honest content brother. glad i found your channel. carry on sir ....
Thanks for watching!
Did you have to pay for the shipping costs or did sig cover shipping?
Sig covered everything.
I own three 365’s but I’m waiting until they come out with a Fuse Comp. Tactical trigger makes a great upgrade for a way shorter reset
@@jonn8163 there’s always another version lol
@@averagemarksmanalmost too many
@@jonn8163 no doubt about it.
Do you find that your slide and slide release get too hot touch after only a few mags? I’m having this issue and I’ve heard of others having it as well
In the first video I made about it I mentioned how hot the slide was. Crazy hot. There should be an entire playlist dedicated to this pistol on the channel. It will show the videos and you’ll find where I mention it being crazy hot.
Great video. Let’s see a new 500 round update after all the fixes!!
Another 500? Idk. To many other guns to shoot haha
@@averagemarksman I understand how busy you are lol I bought a fuse and still haven’t gotten a chance to shoot. Love your videos man keep them coming we will be patient on that 500 round update 😂😂
The two new SW guns I bought both had to go back to SW for repair- a Shield 9mm & an M&P15 OR. It happens to every mfr.
@@bikeracerdude exactly. They produce to many guns to be immune to issues.
My buddy calls the Fuse "Sig's version of a hi-point" I lost it!
Ha! That’s funny.
Actually that's a glock.
ok so i just got my p365 fuse in today, i tried racking brass into he chamber and it had a hiccup as i was halfway with racking it, let the slide fly forward and i REALLY had to rack it back, let it fly foreward and it chambered around, did this 3 times with FMJ and HP, still had hiccups, like as im racking it, it would just stop halfway abruptly, then i switched over to steel snapcaps, first 3 rounds had some hiccups but then after 10 cycles of steel casing it lossened up, and after 20 cycle there was little hiccup, still there but its not to the point where i really gota crank that slide back, then i swiched back to brass and its alot smoother, but not buttery yet, so my conclusion is my steel snapcaps was shaving something down.
Hopefully it smoothes out for you and runs without problems when you get to the range.

Thanks, Tom. We appreciate the support.
That’s good brother
I’m glad it ran well.
This Fuse launch reminding anyone of the Prodigy launch?
As a release day purchaser of the Prodigy it was absolutely painful.
Never clicked on a video so fast lol
I think they fixed it. Ran smoothly.
I had my gun sent back but its still keyholing and rusting
Your fuse is already rusting?
Sounds like your barrel is jacked up
@@averagemarksman yup. Im Very disappointed given its price point
@@puma51921 not a barrel issue. They replaced the barrel and its still keyholing
Wow
All you have is issues with pistols. Funny, I own the fuse, just hit 950 rounds if mixed ammo. Not one issue at all. Maybe user error. 😎
So much user error that Sig reached out to fix the pistol. They knew there was a problem. Gun runs incredible now.
Sent to custom works and a 7 day turnaround time. They never do that. You scared the shit out of them and they want to put this fire out before it grows.
Sig used you as a beta tester like they do with all their guns. Have three p320’s and they sit in the safe.
I purchased a pistol. It had an issue. The company paid for shipping both directions and resolved the issue. It would be financially impossible for them to use customers as beta testers.
@@averagemarksmanthey did and they will continue to, they have lost hundreds of thousands of customers because of it.
@@ross64rob any proof of this stuff or just more information constantly repeated over and over again? Makes no difference to me.
Anyone else with the fuse ever leave the range with a strong gas taste in their mouth? Like its overtuned or something. Not sure if its the range or the pistol... but its 🤢
Comparisons are apples to apples bro a comp gun to a production non comp gun is not really apples to apples..good update on this all first batches have a few bad firearms bro…the 365 has been around for a while this guns is just a stretched version of the original not really a lot new to it they added some dope serrations I think its looks awesome but the malfunctions u experience is not a reason to write off the entire model. I’ve learned to stop doing that a be little more patient. Good luck with it.
They are about the same size - so the comparison is based on what I would carry which depends on how the gun conceals, shoots, and functions.
@@averagemarksmanagreed and there are quite a few RUclipsrs having the same issue with this particular model, so I’m glad you posted the original video and then a follow up. Based on the volume of this same problem hopefully Sig will pay closer attention before more leave the factory.
I was surprised on how fast the repair department was able to get it back out in the mail. Ideally they can find the issues and improve them before they ship.
Sig beta testing in their customers again eh?
We don't mind it's an excellent pistol👍
@@johnhatchel9681 it definitely intrigues me! But I’ll wait a year or two haha
Have a Glock 23 in .40, it stove piped like crazy when I bought it.
@@DaveDangles all brands can fail to preform reliably. Sigs are great, Glocks are great. I just hate how every time they release a new gun, there is issues. It’s disrespectful to their fan base. I don’t rock with sig personally, outside the 226/229
@@DaveDanglesNotorious for doing that to people limp wristing it. Did they fix it or did you fix your technique?
There’s a sign displayed in every bathroom stall at Sig Sauer headquarters. The sign reads….”Please flush twice…it’s a long way to the assembly line.
New Sig is too cheap to spend the right amount of money on quality control and then have the gall to double the sensible price for their guns. People keep buying them at those prices, then they reward the shitty QC sorry to say.
If they sell 50,000 Fuses and 500 people have issues is it an issue? The issue rate has to be an extremely small percent in my opinion.
@@averagemarksman p320 not drop safe, took the internet to prove it for them to fix the problem "voluntarily". P365s had striker drag, paint flaking, rust issues... LT's barrels bent just from shooting --- this is not a once in a while thing this is a recurring issue. Their customer service is great, but using customers as quality control and not knowing that these issues are issues until the public finds them... nah. That's sloppiness at minimum and negligence at maximum. There is a quantity of money and change of process that could fix this, and they choose not to pay it until the customer finds a flaw. It's happening too much.
Why I’ll never own another Sig, for the prices they charge there shouldn’t be issues. They let the folks that spend their hard earned money on them be the quality control.
@@cullemallkayakfishing9563 I agree. There shouldn’t be issues. Thankfully they are willing to fix those issues.
😂😂 why is it so hard for people to admit that sig is a shell of what it once was. Just buy better guns 😂
Sig has issues like every other manufacture.
@@averagemarksman Sig is in a different league when it comes to them using the consumer as a guinea pig. You not being willing to admit that is dishonest if you truly have as much experience as you claim. Do you actually carry any of these guns or do you formulate your opinion after a few hundred rounds? Immediately upon purchase, reliability is a problem with Sig, but a problem that is just as big is their issues with longevity. Nothing rusts quite like a p356 in coastal California.
@@JohnnyBFlossin I have never claimed to have any experience. It is safe to assume that I shoot a little bit here and there. I've owned four different P365 variants. I have had zero issues with rusting while carrying and XL for over a year to include a weekend of chasing cows through a swamp in the pandhandle of Florida. The pistol I choose to carry always has more than 1000 rounds through it before it even gets a holster. Like I've said in multiple videos I believe the Shield lineup is better than the P365 lineup in every way. That doesn't mean Sig blatantly ships out bad products. They ship over a million guns per year!!! The 20 you read about on reddit make zero difference.
@@JohnnyBFlossinAnother glockboy full of lies🥱
@@johnhatchel9681 I have nothing against Glock, I carry one regularly as well as many other brands of handgun. You are a fanboy. Riding the meat of another company that doesn't care about you at all is what simps do. Tell me you have no experience without telling me you have no experience. I don't spend any time on reddit and I carried a 365 for almost a year when they were released, nothing but issues and developing rust even when cleaned. You take your 365 on a few rough trips, it will probably be fine. You carry it how it's intended to be used, as an everyday carry pistol and it won't hold up. Your homeboy needs to fix his teeth instead of buying more p365s. It's amazing how many wanna be RUclipsrs will just come on here to make friends. What ever happened to actually knowing what you are talking about before starting a business based around your limited knowledge?
