He looks straight to Ronnie as if to admit the mistake, Ronnie beamed back as if to say 'yeah fucked that one up'. Not a beat skipped and sounded even better than without a mistake. We will never see the like again.
'Raw' is definitely the word - I always love how there are rough edges to both his singing and his playing, no frills at all. He was the original punk.
Luke Kelly is a legend. His voice is amazing. I wish he was alive today would love to watch this man sing. There will never be such a great singer like Luke Kelly such passion. RIP true legend never forgotten.
My 4 year old heard his voice for a few mins as he's a fan of this song but a different version so i skipped on , when he heard Luke Kelly he said put the man back on! He was belting it away on the way to preschool this morning.

It’s a genuine “embarrassment of riches” when a band has not simply one of the greatest lead singers/front men in the history of bands, but TWO, Rhonnie Drew AND Luke Kelly. Damn…☘️🎶🙏
There are a few people like him a many other when his o her music transcend generation after generation, great musicians who would live in our minds and souls forever and we'll share it even with our gradkids. Art is so wonderfull!
luke kelly, wrote a song for every season, and everyman...... and he was proud to irish. slainte, i'd loved to have been about to raise a glass with him.... he was a 'voice extraordinaire'

Luke was a true performer full of raw talent. I love how he makes a mistake at 1.21, pulls a massive smile, and then just carries on. A true legend.
Man I do that all the time 😅😅
good catch
He does look a little bashful as he shots a look at Ronnie but is straight back in to it.
He looks straight to Ronnie as if to admit the mistake, Ronnie beamed back as if to say 'yeah fucked that one up'.

Luke Kelly is to Irish music,
Similar to what Freddie Mercury was to Rock music,
Never will another voice compare to or replace them,
How someone could put so much energy and soulfullness into singing is beyond me. One of those things unique to Luke i suppose
He would only be in his 70’s. So tragic!
Oh so heartbreaking I would love to have met him what a national hero💖
Had they known Luke's cancer had come back he could have been saved
It's truly sad that so many of us never had the opportunity to be entertained by these great musicians !
I've got nothing against U2 but the Dubliners legends. Forever
