The ep where the ultimates come to life i wish it was a mini- Arc where ben couldn't transform cuz he would switch to one of them and they would take over. So we could get to know them maybe have gwen need to talk them down maybe find out that like ben their good people that are trapped (ulti humangasaour sees the aftermath of his rampage and is devastated or or saving someone despite knowing it will turn him back to ben thus sending him back) Have ben be uncounsious throughot and have him learn they personalitys second hand throughh gwen , keven or who evers there. you know the Climax being ben Intentional going into the ultimatrix to confront them. (ps i think ult spider monekey would just book it every time leaving kevin and gwen too fight alone cuz hes scared of conflict)
Tbh I dont know why people hates filler eps when they flush out the ocs & you never know what crazy stuff the main ocs end up on & tbh its fun to have a fun filler ep inbetween arcs so the ocs can have time to do something crazy lol but the only filler eps that I dont like was the ones in Naruto Shippuden that was randomly showing up in the war arc which doesnt make sense they should have put them in there proper chronological parts then random areas of the war arc in naruto oof
I guess I would say the episodes involving Ben's Love Life would be there for episodes I like that others hate, while you mention it. I honestly didn't have much problem with Ben's Omniverse Lovelife, and while I was I was a bit disappointed that Ben and Julie broke up, I like that in spite of how it happened, they still seemed amicable with Julie being happy with someone else, and in the Gameshow I like that they were just, "let's settle this once and for all, we're tired of jumping around on Ben's love life" I don't really have much to say about it, because my memory is shot for the most part, but I never thought it was bad while watching it, and I honestly like Kai and Ben being together, some people may not like the belligerent pairing but I've seen it for other shows with pairings I like and I just find it a fun "like an old married couple" thing, and she was an OG love interest they finally brought back and I was just happy for that at least, and I feel like the signs were kind of there, but I'm honestly worst at this defense than you may have claimed to be for certain episodes, but that is my piece on it at the moment, I suppose I could probably rewatch more closely so I can maybe provide a better argument, and see where it lands then.
Im of the Mind that Ben should have ended up with an Alien, cause thats what the show is about and what Ben is most of the time.Im also okay with Julie and Ben breaking up cause it was one of Ben's first and earliest crushes so it makes sense for it not to last as long, plus it kinda fell off around the start of Ultamite alien.Give him the Stretchy girl or the Frog girl or even the fourarms girl. Kai I don't care for and her episodes are some of my least watched episodes,I only watch her debut episode cause I wanna see Ben-wolf.
My main issue with Kai is that she and Ben are written together as if it was classic bickering like kids. Crazy cause the first interaction actually makes me think they'd actually be good together and then go into arguing with no easing into it. I do agree that it's good Ben and Julie remained on good terms
@davidkuykendall3778 for me the break up sucks but especially the way it happened. It was lazy and forced but a different love interest isn't necessarily unwelcomed. A shame Julie is just forgotten about almost entirely after. Would you call me crazy if I'd fuck with Elena being a prime love interest?
@@alazoneia Not sure if I understand but I feel like I've seen pairs bicker like that at there age, even older and still enjoyed them as couples, kind of what I was going for with "Old married couple" comparison, another factor may also be that so many people hating on it makes me want to like it more
@@alazoneia Ben and Elena not a hot take at all,They were closer cause they were in school and would assume for at least a year, but with kai we saw how long they saw eachother in classic and it was literally one day! Id ship Ben and alena too if it meant Ken would still be their son cause that is the only good thing I like about kai.The potential for a Ken 10 show.
We should've gotten more Sunny. Imagine her teaming up with Albedo only for the two to have the exact same relationship Ben and Gwen had in the original series.
For gwen 10, i never really picked up on it being a less liked episode, i always thought it was cool, guess the only thing I'd really complain about is less to do with the episode itself and thats it giving us max with the omnitrix just for all the later tome travel and alt universe crossover episodes to ignore it, like after all the hype of him being the one azmuth meant to give it to all we see is what upgrade and off the top of my head nothing else For ben for good buddy, i wont really defend it its definitely a kinda lame episode, especially that like 3 generic mooks could apparently jack the rustbucket and all its tech, like have it get stolen by a galvanic mechamorph or something, atleast then we could explain it get stolen Honestly for monster weather i usually find its a bit of a forgettable episode like the only thing i ever remember is ben with the guitar and like nothing else Personal nomination for me with original series would be the one where he fights the hypnosis guy, like even as a kid it felt stupid to me, and a quick google of it reveals subliminos plan is apparently to somehow mind control the entire world, starting with some mall i guess??? Simple is a episode ive never quite understood the hatred for, like i don't think its outstanding but at the same time i don't remember it beinf particularly offensive (admittedly not watched it in quite some time so it might be worse then i remember) i recall as a kid i actually liked that ben was going out into the universe and trying to help felt like he was actually doing plumber stuff, wait holy shit top 5 of all time kevin lines is in simple that alone might bump it up a little ngl Fools gold i dont think ive ever seen in full so I'll just skip it here On the note of primus being disliked, ive never really got it like i know people bring up how easily vilgax is defeated, but i think thats more down to UAF kind of making him a joke as time went on, primus as a concept i liked, plus seeing azmuth use the omnitrix was fairly cool, dunno liked it as a kid and still like it now Girl trouble I legitimately do not think I've ever seen, like I remember seeing sunny get mentioned on something and thought she was someones OC like it doesn't feel like a real episode from what I've seen Perfect girlfriend will always be a solid episode in my mind just because of the moment as a kid when i watched and realised elena was the girl from the movie my tiny peanut brain exploded trying to figure out how the live action movie fit in the timeline So as a kid or i suppose really teen at that point i remember hating omniverse (and especially hating feedback), but as times gone on ive warmed to the series more (but not feedback hes still scum), rooks certainly a cool guy atleast, and looking back on it just leaves me massively confused because i remember avoiding episodes of it due to aforementioned hatred, but distinctly remember the secret saturday episode and have no idea how or when i watched it Yoo they bring back my boy kangaroo commando why the hell wasn't he on the negative ten But yeah as a whole i don't think ben 10 really has any outrageous bad episodes like people try to make out, like there aren't really any i cna think of that make me outright just want to stop watching or hate them Sorry for the longwinded rambly comment
For Gwen 10, I noticed disdain months back and it was a post on reddit so I can even lie it wasn't the best reason but I still find it under appreciated enough I wanted to talk about it. Ben 4 good Buddy was hard asf to defend I'm not gonna lie but I do enjoy the episode. I will say for Primus I don't necessarily hate the concept but I would rather without it, especially since it doesn't ever come back after UA. Omniverse definitely is a whiplash when it comes to artstyle but if you ever consider, a full watch is something I'd recommend.
@alazoneia omniverse has been on my list of shows to get to for a bit now, but as ever the backlog only ever seems to expand, but im thinking of watching it when i get the chance
I watched all these shows with no knowledge of the fandom and some of the stuff people aren’t fans of I honestly didn’t mind certain aspects For example because it’s a nostalgia thing I have a soft spot for episodes like Secret of Chromastone or Duped
Same applied to me. I spent time on the Ben 10 wiki during Alien Force onward but that's about it. I didn't know what was popular or unpopular and I just enjoyed what I enjoyed
@ plus I’m the only person on planet Earth who actually didn’t mind the Rooters plot Mainly because it made something that I’ve been questioning ever since I saw the plumbers kids for the first time actually make sense
Opinions on each episode (least favorite to most favorite based on series): • Gwen 10 (2005, S2E4): I personally didn't like it. The main episode revolves around Gwen, but it does so in a way that says "Hey, Gwen is a better Omnitrix user than Ben ever will be" because on her first day, she not only defeats Vilgax by herself, but also unlocks most of the transformations and skills Ben had to figure out by himself and is actually praised for it unlike Ben. She also completely ignores Ben who knows more than her, something that's contradictory to even the first episode itself. The second-hand embarrassment is valid, but the episode just feels like a slap in the face to the whole "anyone can be a hero" message that the series tried to teach. More like "anyone can be a hero, but some are better than others" Monster Weather (S3E9): I get the fact that Ben is a 10-year old, but he's written here to be as unlikeable as possible. Like, I get it. Kid with superpowers gets to go on action-packed adventures and now is forced to go to some music festival. I remember not liking going to music festivals myself, but Ben really could've tried to like them, but didn't, or it turns out one of the musicians IS the weather monster, and Ben has to suck it up and save the day. At least it doesn't go out of its way to pull a Wells and make Ben as miserable as possible. Ben 4 Good Buddy (S4E5): Nothing much to say about it. Nothing much goes on, it looks cool, but it doesn't stand out at all compared to the other episodes.
Simple (Alien Force, S2E5): I didn't like it honestly. Ben is the negotiator. He's the voice of reason for a REASON. Ben gets asked to solve a war, so what does he do? Threatens them, destroys a national landmark, and causes them to unite just to defeat Ben. Wasn't there an entire season about Ben learning to be a leader and solving problems without violence? Ben could've helped the civilians revolt against the generals after realizing their world's government is too incompetent to lead them, or done the whole "I am Ben Tennyson, wielder of the Omnitrix. If you do not work out a treaty, you will regret it for the rest of your very short life" speech. Too bad Cartoon Network assassinated his character to get more classic fans back on board. Fool's Gold (S2E6): I wish they could've tied into Kevin feeling inadequate about his mutation with the plot of Simple. Like imagine Kevin, a literal outsider, showing his "curse" and showing that sides and race are only surface-level. That if you keep fighting, you'll become the very monster everyone thinks he is. But nah, let's make it about aliens pooping gold. Time Heals (S2E18): It's alright. It has a fine subplot. I'm not gonna rewatch it just for this video, but I still find it weird how Kevin not being mutated = world domination. If anything, wouldn't it do the OPPOSITE? Kevin being at full-power would make it easier to take Charmcaster down? Or is it because he's already mutated, he can't be turned into a rock monster? Idk.
The Perfect Girlfriend (Ultimate Alien, (S3E18): Yet ANOTHER episode meant to ruin Ben and Julie's relationship, featuring a character that appeared literally twice and is nothing like the character she is based off of. They could've hinted at it being Elena by having Julie's appearance sometimes glitch or having Elena's mannerisms, but it's literally Julie and then oh no it's NOT Julie, and then she decides to show Ben that she's "the perfect girlfriend" by trying to suffocate him and then running away at the last second. Not "You and Julie havn't been happy together lately, and yet you've been happy with me, so why waste your time waiting for the inevitable?" or just idk, go full psycho, make it a horror/murder mystery episode and Ben figuring out that's not the real Julie? Idk, waste of a character tbh. Girl Troubles (S3E5): I didn't like it, I think it's kind-of mid but that's ultimately because of how "lazy" Sunny's design is, even if that's the point. She's supposed to be the Albedo of Gwen, but imagine if they made her closer to OS/Classic Gwen, or like Ben 23. Stuck-up know-it-all who knows what she's doing, but reckless with her powers because she knows other people will clean up her mess. Hell, have Meagan Smith voice Sunny to make the comparison more obvious. Also, Antonio's just there. He exists, idrc about him. Viktor: The Spoils (S3E4): Don't remember it, I still hate Simple. Probably a nice episode though based off the description tbh.
The Most Dangerous Game Show (Omniverse, S8E8): *no.* Cat Fight (Omniverse, S6E1): Oh boy another episode dedicated to sabotaging Ben's love life, I wonder what takanamoon9907 has to say about it. They could've properly introduced him here after being seen in the background of "And Then There Was Ben," where he reveals himself to be Ben's kid, but before he can reveal anything about himself, his time travel device malfunctions, sending him back to the future. The rest of the episode is then spent with Ben juggling his different love interests (Looma, Ester, Charmcaster, Kai, Attea, and Rook Shar) before they all wise up and gang up on Ben. After which, Kai stays behind, asks Ben about the future, and basically tells him that it doesn't matter what happens in the past or future. Ben's actions will decide what it'll be, and he chooses to stay single. There you go, will they won't they without any forced time travel shenanigans.
honestly I can see your point about Gwen being better, but I think her flaw was being too wreckless, even more than Ben. Bens first thought with the Omnitrix after getting a hang of it was to help people, while Gwen used it for herself and bowling, not to say Gwen isnt heroic or kind, ofc she is but I think her flaw was her use rather than skill
@@takanamoon9907 honestly youre right, Kevin using his mutation would make a decent point in Simple, as for Time Heals, my guess is it has to do with Charmcasters plan in In Charms Way? either that or a one off adventure we just dont see.
You would think the reboot season 1 his a lot of bad episodes until the omnitricked saga and in season 2 the story begin to build up and especially season 3 that has a whole arc but for season for it just fall off and didn't had anything else to offer except the movie and for the specials/season 5 ben gen 10 was better then the rest
i think i agree with a lot of what was said i actually quite like a lot of these episodes if not all of them though i might not go out of my way to watch them for a while due to not being as great as others i still think theres a lot of character and good ideas beneath all the dumb settings/plots and weird suddenly cannon additions like upchuck being unable to eat pizza
i actually really love the red blue side episode just cause i think ben telling two sides of a war basic morals that obviously wouldnt work but thinking it would work was really well done cause he was so big headed it thought itd be different coming from him but it was just as if not even more stupid and that type of ironic setting is hilarious to me especially when it humbles ben at his worst
while i didnt enjoy the story where the WARLORD women thought they needed a man despite Being WARLORDs( i mean attea staged a freakin Coo) I did like the implication that Some Aliens prefer ben in his ALien Forms. Maybe some see thoose Aliens as the real ben And the the human form As a transformation (cus he spends so much time on earth) Falls in the line with bens "Im one of everyone " Line
Quick probably dumb question: Why would their political and military savvyness mean they don’t want a significant other? I think in that episodes it’s pointed out how they view Ben with his legacy as the only option worth their time.
@@DeltaDonsan they didnt want a guy (looma mayba cuz shes technically engaged to ben) they felt pressured. Since the big take away in the end was they didnt need him. (dont know if that makes sense)
@@DeltaDonsan Speaking as some one who genrally likes the romance stuff. they could of dones something like (to resolve loomas engament) have it be that shes through a loop hole only married to ben when his four arms. Or Since we know ben attracted to attea when his bullfrag have him be stuck in that form while being roped into something by attiea. For nyancy just have them try to figure out how to turn ben human while kitty cat rath entertains us.
Don’t even bother defending these episodes they’re heated because they’re hated and plus it’s a waste of time. It was a waste of time waste of effort on these episodes and plus they’re boring and some of them have the characters out of character and the first place.
Great to see some love from all sides of the fandom!

One thing i liked with Simple was kind of the twist that Ben in his clumsyness, did indeed unite the two sides...by making himself their common enemy.
honestly shocked Omniverse didnt make an episode to reference it
I need to meet up with my best friend for dinner, but my cat won't get off my lap. I love this useless animal
Amazing video bro. Keep it up!
For gwen 10, i never really picked up on it being a less liked episode, i always thought it was cool, guess the only thing I'd really complain about is less to do with the episode itself and thats it giving us max with the omnitrix just for all the later tome travel and alt universe crossover episodes to ignore it, like after all the hype of him being the one azmuth meant to give it to all we see is what upgrade and off the top of my head nothing else
For ben for good buddy, i wont really defend it its definitely a kinda lame episode, especially that like 3 generic mooks could apparently jack the rustbucket and all its tech, like have it get stolen by a galvanic mechamorph or something, atleast then we could explain it get stolen
Honestly for monster weather i usually find its a bit of a forgettable episode like the only thing i ever remember is ben with the guitar and like nothing else
Personal nomination for me with original series would be the one where he fights the hypnosis guy, like even as a kid it felt stupid to me, and a quick google of it reveals subliminos plan is apparently to somehow mind control the entire world, starting with some mall i guess???
Simple is a episode ive never quite understood the hatred for, like i don't think its outstanding but at the same time i don't remember it beinf particularly offensive (admittedly not watched it in quite some time so it might be worse then i remember) i recall as a kid i actually liked that ben was going out into the universe and trying to help felt like he was actually doing plumber stuff, wait holy shit top 5 of all time kevin lines is in simple that alone might bump it up a little ngl
Fools gold i dont think ive ever seen in full so I'll just skip it here
On the note of primus being disliked, ive never really got it like i know people bring up how easily vilgax is defeated, but i think thats more down to UAF kind of making him a joke as time went on, primus as a concept i liked, plus seeing azmuth use the omnitrix was fairly cool, dunno liked it as a kid and still like it now
Girl trouble I legitimately do not think I've ever seen, like I remember seeing sunny get mentioned on something and thought she was someones OC like it doesn't feel like a real episode from what I've seen
Perfect girlfriend will always be a solid episode in my mind just because of the moment as a kid when i watched and realised elena was the girl from the movie my tiny peanut brain exploded trying to figure out how the live action movie fit in the timeline
So as a kid or i suppose really teen at that point i remember hating omniverse (and especially hating feedback), but as times gone on ive warmed to the series more (but not feedback hes still scum), rooks certainly a cool guy atleast, and looking back on it just leaves me massively confused because i remember avoiding episodes of it due to aforementioned hatred, but distinctly remember the secret saturday episode and have no idea how or when i watched it
Yoo they bring back my boy kangaroo commando why the hell wasn't he on the negative ten
But yeah as a whole i don't think ben 10 really has any outrageous bad episodes like people try to make out, like there aren't really any i cna think of that make me outright just want to stop watching or hate them
Sorry for the longwinded rambly comment
I watched all these shows with no knowledge of the fandom and some of the stuff people aren’t fans of I honestly didn’t mind certain aspects
For example because it’s a nostalgia thing I have a soft spot for episodes like Secret of Chromastone or Duped
Same applied to me. I spent time on the Ben 10 wiki during Alien Force onward but that's about it. I didn't know what was popular or unpopular and I just enjoyed what I enjoyed
@ plus I’m the only person on planet Earth who actually didn’t mind the Rooters plot
Mainly because it made something that I’ve been questioning ever since I saw the plumbers kids for the first time actually make sense
Opinions on each episode (least favorite to most favorite based on series):
• Gwen 10 (2005, S2E4): I personally didn't like it. More like "anyone can be a hero, but some are better than others"
Monster Weather (S3E9): I get the fact that Ben is a 10-year old, but he's written here to be as unlikeable as possible.
The Most Dangerous Game Show (Omniverse, S8E8): *no.*
Cat Fight (Omniverse, S6E1): Oh boy another episode dedicated to sabotaging Ben's love life, I wonder what takanamoon9907 has to say about it.
Simple is my fav episode from AF
I will always defend that episode, I see the issues and some things annoy me but I still have a soft spot for it after all these years
i think i agree with a lot of what was said i actually quite like a lot of these episodes if not all of them though i might not go out of my way to watch them for a while due to not being as great as others i still think theres a lot of character and good ideas beneath all the dumb settings/plots and weird suddenly cannon additions like upchuck being unable to eat pizza
i actually really love the red blue side episode just cause i think ben telling two sides of a war basic morals that obviously wouldnt work but thinking it would work was really well done cause he was so big headed it thought itd be different coming from him but it was just as if not even more stupid and that type of ironic setting is hilarious to me especially when it humbles ben at his worst
0:10 I don’t like looking at episodes individually. I like looking at the season as the story. Me episodes are just moments.
Would be dope if you did a Ben 10 rewrite
I have seen a few people doing their own. I honestly wouldn't change a whole bunch but there's definitely things I'd alter
while i didnt enjoy the story where the WARLORD women thought they needed a man despite Being WARLORDs( i mean attea staged a freakin Coo) I did like the implication that Some Aliens prefer ben in his ALien Forms.
@@DeltaDonsan yeah thats what I was gonna say
You are very brave. 👏👨✈️
Who would of thought sasuke and teen Ben have the same va
Right?? He also voices my favorite fire emblem protagonist Eliwood (and Marth too)

Don’t even bother defending these episodes they’re heated because they’re hated and plus it’s a waste of time. It was a waste of time waste of effort on these episodes and plus they’re boring and some of them have the characters out of character and the first place.
Trying to find some good takeaway helps us cope.(but yeah they suck)
