I can't believe that you got another X3000 and then sent it back! Everytime you show your X3000 footage from Thailand -- it is amazing!!! Like in this video -- crystal clear, reds that burn my retinas -- how could you *NOT* have one now????
Maybe design a new CC t-shirt for Fuji. A big high contrast target and an arrow that says “Focus Here”. Then ask Fuji to upgrade their firmware to detect the target. Seems an easy enough fix for the XT4 focus issues.
That zoom might look less wide at 12mm due to short-range focus breathing. Very common with zooms, as you know. Do a scene from the back wall at 12mm and compare. The guy with the R6 should consider the RF 14-35 F/4L. Smaller, cheaper (still expensive though) and wider than the 15-35. There's a chance he won't break his windshield with a bit lighter lens.
As an Olympus E-M1 mark iii owner (among several other Micro Four Thirds cameras) and owning the 12-200mm lens, I find the 14-150mm f/4-5.6 lens a bit sharper but of course it lacks on the wide and tele ends. My favorie is the 12-100mm f/4 pro which is very sharp, has a smoother zoom and has lens stabilization to pair with that in the body. Best recomendation for vlogging would be the 12-45mm f/4 pro, I do not own it and have not used it but reviews make it seem to be great. Obviously the Olympus prime was the sharpest lens.

For the Iraqi guy, I'd go for the Tamron 28-200 f/2.8-5.6, perfect for the a7iii, lots of reach for family pictures, they solved the af issue, sharp pictures and less than $800...
Hey hope you're doing well son. How do you find the Olympus EM1-iii for shooting indoors compared to the Fuji XT4? From your videos, it seems the Olympus might have the edge for outdoor shooting - but indoors it seems a bit closer to me? Wondering if that MFT sensor lets it down in low light (interested in recording mainly in home studio, but with some light vlogging inside/outside). Perhaps the odd photo from time to time hehe
I find Olympus image cheap.That's it's weakness.Fuji has the look and the better dynamic range.Even classic neg was much more pleasing than Olympus today.

He took them both outside vlogging and to my eyes the Olympus served up the much more believeable image, along with better autofocus under stressful lighting conditions. I'm a proud Panasonic owner. I have THREE Panasonic cameras. "It depends on your need". Those words are very true. I shoot stills 99% of the time. My G85, GX85 and FX300 (the FX300 is my video camera) work for me just fine.

Hey, I bought the Sony A7ii with the kit lens, but the only problem is that the video feels like shit. Now I got it for 700 dollars, which in my mind was a good deal. Sadly the autofocus sucked my hairy balls, just like the stabilization. And I am no homo. Any suggestions on what camera to buy for someone who shoots videos for school and pictures as a hobby?
See I don’t know where this notion about Panasonic comes from, particularly the S5 & S1H. I’ve just got the S5 I got it for £1000 the kit lens!. I own a Sony A73 & a Sony RX100va and I can say the S5’s auto focus is amazing, it’s been flawless thus far. It’s just knowing how to use the camera and know what custom video AF settings to use. It’s the same with Sony and canon cameras if you set the video AF speed and sensitivity wrong it looks garbage!. So yea from my experience at least and compared side by side to Sony it’s been bulletproof. I’m going to do a video side by side to show etc!.
