For most race tracks I would agree. But this is a weird one. The altitude, track surface and layout of the circuit can bunch things up a whole lot. Ricciardo did a mega job but Perez didn't do a bad quali, just over 1 tenth behind Verstappen. It's a shame Tsunoda was serving such a big penalty, I would have like to see a proper comparison between him and Ricciardo at this track.

If you look at the line before the pit entry towards the end, Checo is actually ahead of Daniel, he's also at a higher speed and both of them are fully on the throttle. It's the longer distance to the line that Checo takes that costs him the position which I find to be incredibly stupid.
