The coins and notes highlighted in this report are attainable in the wild for sure. For instance, I recently found a 2006 $1 FRN with serial numbers and seals shifted southward enough to be noticeable and appreciated by a seeker of note errors. I was happy to add to my collection. Thanks Shaun for another great 👍 report. My favorite was the 1956 Lincoln Wheat Cent "Ragged Clip" error. Nice joke about Rottweiler chewing on coin. 😆 LOL. Dog could have chipped a tooth. Thanks again for the report.

Love the 70D. Found one with similar damage and the FS-101. Sent off to NGC...been there since Jan 7, they’re taking their sweet time with what was supposed to be a 15 day working time + 5 days for the variety. I know it’ll eat most profit being graded damaged, but a cool one to add to the collection. Thanks BlueRidge

Sean, just two days ago I asked a cashier (specifically the not shiny coins) at the local convenient store for eight quarters. Believe it or not I received the '70, '71, '72 , '83 Spitting Eagle, '85 Spitting Eagle, '42 D, '81, '65. Upon the unbelievable discovery of the dates, immediately I asked him to let me get all you have in the till. Nowadays the register till often contain the new modern coins, etc.... I left with '86, '87, '89, & the mid-ninties, etc... Oh by the way I have a '47 Lincoln Wheat Cent for your mom. I also collect items in the year I was born (especially automobiles) so it touched me when you mentioned that you do the same, Lol 😂
I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the year of your birthday. Yesterday a friend suggested I open an ebay account, and I'm way too busy to operate one. Couple decades back ebay had a consignment store and posted items for you. Wish they were still around 😔🌵🏄🎨🤙😁😉
Idk if they are everywhere or only here locally but here in N.C. theres a store called "ship on site" its a store where you can take things to ship like a ups store. Inside they also have a eBay section where you can bring stuff in and they will look it up write a description and post it for you.

Hey Shawn, I've been watching your videos and learning for a couple of years Thanks. Last month I found a really nice 1983 P Lincoln bronze 3.1 grams. I pretty sure it's a 1 in a billion chance. Since I read Ken Potter's book Get Rich with Pocket Change 8 years ago I thought I would give him 1st shot. He set me up with Stacks and Bowers. My coin will be auctioned August 5th or 6th in New York. I'm happy, that's life changing money. Good hunting!

I found two how valued are they
Love all the information, especially as the valuable commodity it is in this valuable hobby of ours. So, thank you so much for that and all you do in and for the community. That said, the only thing I've ever disagreed with is when you give your eBay sale breakdown. For example, in this video you gave the breakdown for the penny box sale. IMO, you should be cautios of labeling the amount before the fees are taken out as "PROFIT". IMO you should do these videos from the perspective of "new" sellers on ebay because they represent most that come across you and love your advice just as I did a couple years ago. Meaning those that don't have a store and are paying 13% fee off top which is really gonna be 20% fee off top b/c new sellers won't make sales often unless they pay that extra 7% promotion fee. Trust me, it's worth it just add it in as well. Then when you suggest people have their listing with free shipping they have to include that on the front end which then unfortunately needs to have an extra fee % factored in since eBay charges their fee on that total amount. So in my experience, that same $75 shipped amount the seller charged, will only be $16.25 PROFIT. Then you have to decide for yourself if that's worth it to you or not.

I think it's lower mintstate prob 63ish maybe 64 (any coin advice welcomed) should I send it off to get graded then sale? Or should I sale it raw? Thanks!
Idk if this coin I found is rare , but I found a 2005 nickel . The front has a really satin un color finish , and the rear is a shiny silver color like any nickel , I’m new to this coin market

I've always collected my own pocket change never really did rolls. I've only bought a BU roll of 2018 P the day they came out in Nashville and a 2022 D BU roll and that's it till around a week ago I asked the new owner of nearest store and we give each other shit anyway I suggested he givee 8 rolls of pennies back instead of 4 $1 bills and he actually got excited, turns out he despises change/coins, the first roll I opened I instantly saw a wheat, 1944 P,😀 put under magnification and on the reverse a nice big dramatic RRDC or rim to rim crack from the area of the "R" in PLURIBUS NNW heading SSE diagonally continue to the top right corner of the "T" of cent which it then cuts across the top of the T perfectly cutting strait E along itthen goes SSE headed for the rim and somehow bisects as one heads South of one of the "S"'s of STATES (not in front of me rn 🤦) and the other goes north of it as they both slit the rim in their ending point each well away from the S on either side I sent JC Stevens a video of it 👍🏼

I would really like to hear you elaborate on the 1944 Wheat Cent strike through error. Can you explain how some of the devices are visible "below" or "underneath" of the strike through material? How does this occur. I would think that none of the devices below the strike through material would be visible. I ask this because I have a very similar strike through coin. I got a 1969 s back in change the other day and it has doubling on mint mark on date and motto. It's in rough shape, I was just looking for advice on what I should do with it? Get it graded or ebay or my own collection. What would you do? Thank you
Is it crazy doubling on God we trust! If it do it's probably 1969 S ddo you should get it graded no matter what it look like PCGS!
Unfortunately it is known as ejection doubling. Not valuable. The S mm is applied to the die after impressions are made. A genuine example would have no doubling on the mintmark. RATS.
If this is shawn I found 5 1983 double strikes there's one that is alot better condition but I'm just going thru coins I've had and I have so many that u have said collectors are looking for.the coins were saved from my grandma and dad. So quite a few wheat Penny's and so.far 5_1083
What if you have a quarter with blaksley effect but doesn't have a rim clip what would you call that
I think the 1944 plain Lincoln Cent is not a struck thru, but struck on a laminated planchet. In other words the planchet was laminated before it was struck.

I see and understand the Blakesley Effect on the opposite side, but what's going on around the "E" in Liberty and on the other side of it - the "R" in Quarter? Just a random area of soft strike, or is it due to being 45 degrees away from those two areas? Thanks again!

Hi, Shawn, I think a coin should have a bracket of appreciation standards based on circulation coins! A guide line.I think when it comes to grading it’s not accurate! I think anyone can put a price on the coin when it comes to a buyer! I believe coins have a history and we don’t know who touch those coins for that specific Era year! I think a penny coin should worth automatically 1 dollar for every year, has the years get closer to our era will lose value! Then you do the same thing with DDO DDR’s let’s say you add another $1 on top that mint error another $1 for every year ! The coin should be respected based on ERA who could have touched it! It Could have been a tv star, a Vice President, no one knows! So why a mint state 68+70 should get a better grating when didn't go through the ERA process of circulation? I think grading's a scam can be manipulated based on who you know! Corruption's everywhere like BITCOIN it's a scam you are paying for a signal don't get fooled not even the FBI can track that signal! Ok, have a great day if anyone wants to comment be free so.

1964 and earlier are 90% silver.
So check all your quarters and dimes and if you see 1964 or anything before that keep them.

I literally found and example of the feature 1970 D Wasn’t was the first time z fly hington Quarter while you were telling me about this coin. Had it not been for the for the perfect timing, which prompted my thinking that I had a 1970 in the past week or 2’s worth of change I was Just sitting down to go thru. Just wasnt sure if it was a D. It was, it's identical to to the quarter in the video, as far as having the doubling in the date. Mine is in better condition, it wasn't a roll ender. It also looks to have slight doubling in most of the letters in “in God we trust”, and even at least some of liberty possibly. That's not all. There are little cuds right on the rim directly in front of and behind Washington's head, at about 4 and, 9m, die cracks run from the 4 cud to splits I to at least 3 and run to the edge just to the right of 12, just a hair to the right of the E, more come out of that area, there's too much to list. I've never seen so many different types of errors on one coin, and then you turn it over!!!!!

The 1956 plain Lincoln Cent is a "Ragged Edge", not a Ragged Clip. Ragged and Clip refer two different things. A Clip is a rounded part of a previously punched planchet hole at the end of the copper roll. While Ragged refers to the rough edge of the copper roll.
Have a 46 wheat with a few errors also about that 1970 ddo quarter is the 7 a sign have a 1970s quarter that has that 3d on the top of the 7 where it starts to go down and have been looking at that quarter and the others from 1970s and it is a unique sign to see

Like the off center ones, only slight off centers are going to be in circulation. In keeping with truth and purity feature Only coins a person will find it circulating pocket change.
