And if you have any kind of back problems, suspenders are a MUST!!
Love your channel. I’m from the Gulf Coast, where pine trees are the primary, native species, and live oak is common. Live oak is the densest oak species, and was used to build America’s first naval vessels. It grows in coastal areas of the South. The USS Constitution got its nickname, Old Ironsides, from its use of live oak timber, which weighs about the same as lead. Northeast Tennessee is beautiful country. I spent four years up there in the ‘70s, attending a small Bible College in Bristol, right next to the racetrack. It’s defunct now, a church bought the property. Not too long before she died in ‘21, my wife and I made a trip up to DC. We stopped in Bristol, so I could show her where I went to school. It brought back many memories. I did a little hiking on the Appalachian Trail a bit while I was up there in the ‘70s. I remember seeing these massive stumps along the trail, some rivaling the size of redwoods. I later found out about the blight that killed the native Chestnuts in the ‘30s. I was glad to see that there’s hope the Chestnuts can make a comeback due to some hybridization with blight resistant, Chinese Chestnuts. I loved my time up there, but I have salt water in my veins, and was glad to get back home to the smell of salt air. God bless you. God is good.
Welcome back from Georgia Buddy. That was fun watching Jake and company bring those logs down to lumber. Look like a good time and some good teaching moments going on there Nathan. Thanks for bring us along!
Thanks 👍
Time to let Bruno drive the tracker in exchange for cleaning the windows. Supervised of course.
ET phone home! That was awesome Nathan! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Welcome back from Georgia. What a great trip you had & excellent recap video work. This Walnut customer should be happy.
Hope so!
Cabbage waited 4 hours for her field mouse 🐁 to deliver her midday lunch 😋 but Nathan decided not today 🎉❤🎉
lol
Great video!
Tracker rides with Bruno are the best.
Appreciate the support! Thank you!
Any time!
Word of advice.... Don't bother the guard-cat while he's on duty!
always enjoy seeing Bruno!!!
Always great to see Bruno!
Nice looking walnut, Nathan!
nice walnut
thanks James, wish it was my log
I really like these , with Bruno along for the ride. My grandpa's middle name was Bruno.
Another great video. The way you make time for Bruno is fantastic. Well done, sir!
Thank you very much!
What kind of music does Bruno like to hear? I'm enjoying his clock brigade, as it were.
he listens to about everything now days, his taste are limitless,
Good day, Mr. Nathan. Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy these videos! I can't explain it but watching that sawmill run is one of the most calming experiences! I do enjoy the other content on your channel and it's always a joy to watch your channel! I also enjoy watching the little rides that you take with your son! Tell Bruno I said Hello! Don't change a thing about your channel, it's wonderful just the way it is! Blessings to you and your family.
Welcome back.
Home old man
With that walnut sawdust being toxic to just about everything, you should try using it on your fence line, almost like a weed killer to keep stuff from growing in it for easy mowing.
Thanks, Nathan.
not sure if I have ever commented before on your channel...but I have been following you for a good number of years...have always loved your commitment to sustainable work, but most importantly your commitment to your son! many blessings to you and all of your family! be well, my friend!
Wow, thank you!
That was really nice looking walnut, like the ET face...lol
What happened to the pole barn build for equipment storage?
On hold

Cheers and kind regards mate.
Malcolm.
Waitin' on you Buddy! 😅 Good Times!!
Oh yeah!
Nice walnut. Good judgment call.
Thanks for sharing.
Boy Bruno's getting to be big and tall like you 👍
I hope Bruno had a great ride. May GOD bless.
Kinda looks like E.T. Nice grain on that board, BTW.
Hey to Bruno!👍 Nice log Nathan 👍
I like to see the results of bucket treatment. 👍
Cabbage wont talk to you, Momma cat ignores you, your’re like the polar opposite of Doctor Doolittle.
Hi Nathan & Hi Bruno & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks Nathan & Bruno & Friends Randy
That is a nice log Nathan. Nice to see Bruno in the videos. Stay safe.
Thanks 🙏
I been waiting on the video about the field renovation!!
Man that is one amazing machine! So cool to watch. Is your blade guide auto-adjusting or are you controlling that as you make the cut?
it is not, wish it was
You captured ET!!!
LOL. Yewp Just saw it. ET Phone home!
I hope you reported the alien to the local authorities.
Nice Hat! Which reminds me, somebody owes me a hug...
Hi Nathan, Good to see ya again, Hello Bruno - Summer is almost here you going to help your dad some this summer?. Walnut log looks like a winner, Think ET is a little grumped after being cooped up in the log LOL. How's the new Chickens should be getting close to time to put in with the big chickens. Prayers for the families of the officers killed yesterday in Charlotte NC. Tho I knew them not they were brothers. John Toccoa GA
Amazing what the Lord has done
WOW !!
8:35 WOW! Do you think I could make a saxophone out of that?
thx
10:24
Good Answer
A+
Nice sawing 👍 Can't wait to see you rip and tear at the other property and get those pears out. I remember you saying that there were non-fruiting. Are they good for smoking?
E.T. love it!❤
Not real big but looks really nice.
Great video as usual thanks, Isn't translation funny, Suspenders in the UK hold womens stockings up we call them braces. If you googled Black Leather Suspenders you would come up with some web sites LOL
Just ordered my suspenders. Looks like a good quality product made in the USA. Will let you know what I think of them in a week or so.
Hard to beat
Has Bruno been able to enjoy his Grandma living so much closer?
Is there any chance of seeing a completed piece from one of your cuts.
BRUNO!!❤ CABBAGE❤❤❤!!
Yeah I think Bruno is big enough to be driving the Tracker now. Plus all the other equipment you got around there. Time for some lessons Dad.
Ouch I was not fast enough on that one😂
Arizona here
lol ET riding a good wave 👍🤟🇦🇺
OK, I'll bite. Why would you use suspenders if you already have a belt?
Damn that is beautiful.
I have no clue what you were talking about when you mentioned an alien being in your tree but, I cut a piece of hickory that had an image in it that did or probably still does look like an alien.
Go home …
If you had cut the log in half to get both crotches would they have been too short for the mill? E.T. Looks cool hiding in there! Hey Bruno! Great to cya!
Just wondering have you ever used a hand held metal detector on you logs to find metal be fore cutting them
Ok I see E.T.
Thanks for watching
Bruno, what kind of music do you like to listen to? Just curious and thanks. Thanks for the videos Nathan. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
Cabbage's Critter ran off into the field. Cabbage was sitting sentry.
It can't be a coincidence that E.T. showed up, right?
MM77 Approved 👍🏻👍🏻
I see a beautiful shotgun stock in that.
Question on the saw mill- the hydraulic arm the keeps the log in place, do you have to adjust it every time to keep the blade from hitting it?
Yes
E.T.!!!!
we had a cat that looked like Cabbage, . we called her Patches..
Can you borrow a tree-puller or are the trees too big?
I have one but the excavator is funner, to use
4:09 Sounded fine until you pointed it out, Nathan…
👋🏼
I don’t understand the live edge craze. It’s just doesn’t move me. That being said one of the rules that I live by is “ just smile and take the people’s money”
Well picked Nathan, the log did produce some very nice crotch figure. Hope you enjoyed the 'tractor ride'. Cheers, Don from South Australia.
Kinda looked like E-T didn't it. Beautiful grain in the crotch I've always been a fan of walnut.
get bruno some air pods lol
He didn’t like them 🤪
4:04 Crotch jokes never get old 😂
Who's Joe Maine ? LOL
Et phone home
Why doesn't Bruno work with you on the sawmill?
E.T. phone home
Who paid for those Georgia steak dinners❓Never though in terms of a Crotch having a good day. Unlikely topic for future consideration 🇺🇸🗽🙏👌
ET phone home...
who is Bruno listening?
ET phone home.
Is Bruno your son?
I can’t believe you said “sometimes the crotch gets caught on the bed”… funny stuff
Don’t chop down the pear trees!
They're Bradford pears which have become an invasive species. The blooms are pretty but the tree itself is weak and takes over wherever it grows.
Bradford They’re nasty !are being banned from sale in East Tennessee.
