I have used the Amazon suction cup several times now and it has not come off!! Huge improvement over the Harbor Freight!! Im glad that it has worked for you as well.
Zach Kuck I just thought it looked a little big so I cut it down, but it might actually do better if it was bigger because it would displace more water
Joshua Taylor I found if it’s not sucking good that sometimes there is air behind the suction cup. I hold it under water and bend the suction cup back and get all the air out. I’ve also found that for some reason on my boat I have to do the back suction cup first then the front one. I guess the shape of the side of the boat? I also press it against the boat when pushing down the lever. When it attaches good the lever is really hard to push down. Another thing is to make sure boat surface and suction cups are clean. I hope this helps. I’ve been using mine all summer and it has been holding up fine. It’s only popped off a couple times.
Do you think that 90 degree angle is too much? Some of them are a 45 degree angle. I'm going to make one tomorrow at a 45 degree angle and try it this weekend see how it works. Malibu Wakesetter 23lsv.
I have seen both versions. I think the Mission one is at like a 90 degree and the Roswell is like a 45 degree. I have used this one I made on my boat and it works great! I want to make another one with a 45 degree angle to see what the difference is.
Tate Burgad it works fine without any angle. I’ve been meaning to make another one with some angle on it to see how it performs! I’ve seen different brands doing straight and angled
I have also discovered to bend the suction cup down a little underwater to let the air out, and it always suctions really good!
Great Video. I am going to build one this weekend
Haha yes! I though of almost exactly the same thing and only costs 1/10th of the flipping price.
hello where do we find stronger springs?
What size of Brackets are those sir
How do u remove the little piece to let the handle go off?
Can you provide a detailed materials list?
Four days on the lake and it only came off once, definitely better than the harbor freight one.

SWAG_WINNING , still working great, used it again last weekend. The kids love the wake.
Does the size of the plate matter? Why did you go with 13”x8”?

Looks good. Did this one hold better than the suction cup from Harbor Frieght?
Yes. This one definitely held better!! For just a few bucks more i would recommend it!!
I used your idea but it keeps popping off the boat. Any ideas?

SWAG_WINNING I bought the harbor freight one, I'm going to try it out. Did you have a link to the Amazon one?
I will add it in the description. I'm still working on adding all that stuff. It should be there tonight!!
SWAG_WINNING Thanks!!! Good job on the video and descriptions.
Hi Larry. how did it work on your 23LSV?
you dont need to angle the plate? some other videos people were putting an angle on the plate.
