Thank you so much for your help in putting my new razor metro HD e-scooter! I followed your instructions and never looked at the manual! Thanks for the smooth delivery in your video! Easy installation and instructions! I had the scooter put together in no time! Looking forward to riding it leisurely!
Thank you so much. I was afraid I might not be able to do it. Honestly, your video was far better than the instruction guide. I would play your video press pause do what you did then play then pause again and repeat..yeah!!! Girl's got this!!
Like others gave said your video is so informative. I can't tell you how many times I've watched it. I'm in the process of putting mine together. Almost finished. You've answered so many questions. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your methodical and precise assembly video.I know without it and just the instructions MY ATTEMPT would of been a total FAIL. Thank you for the great job!!!!
Thanks for making this video! I just purchased this on Amazon Prime Day and am expecting delivery tomorrow. I have watched about a half dozen videos for this scooter but yours is the best for assembly. I plan on watching it again when its time to put mine together. I am a senior lady who doesn't have all your fancy tools but I think I can handle it. :)
Thank you for taking the time to share your kind words. I'm sure you'll have no problems assembling. I also think you'll love it. I just rode one of ours to the grocery store today. I'm used to riding at 80+ mph in Los Angeles traffic on a big 1000cc motorcycle but I still get a thrill out of these little scooters.
I own a Razor ecosmart. Its a good product. However I bought it to ride on the narrow sidewalks of Antigua Guatemala since the streets themselves are made of very rough natural football size rocks. At speeds over about 7 - mph it rolls straight stable and true. .. very nice. The problem is when going slower than that on a side walk it quite difficult to go straight and keep your balance. ************ I am trying find out if a scooter with much smaller wheels will go straight at walking speeds. without having to steer back and forth to maintain balance? I will appreciate any help and will shove some money under your door in appreciation next time I am in your area.
@@UrbanMonkTV My pocket mod scooter has smaller wheels and it's impossible to drive for me without losing my balance....last time I tried riding it a few days ago even with my feet down near the ground I nearly crashed and ended up walking it back to the house instead of trying to drive it on the slight downgrade. Perhaps I should try driving it in the lot instead of on the sidewalk?
i monk how are ya .. i have my new scooter togethor:).. when i went to chare it..the power pack is green.. and they throttle lights say full.. i im just wondering am i good to go.. i thought the baterrys need chargeing before use. any help would be apperciatted thanx:)
It'll run and green light doesn't turn to yellow until battery is near dead. However, out of the box, the battery is not at 100% and getting it to 100% is a good thing for longevity of battery. 2 things to consider with batteries...1) Rate of discharge and 2) total number of discharge/charge cycles in itslifetime. Charging first affects second. Thanks for watching!
A very good demonstration, thank you. I have a question about the basket; I'd like to purchase this particular scooter but I need two baskets. I was thinking to take the basket & bracketing that comes w/this bike and install it on the front of the bike, and then purchase a different type of basket & bracket (something bigger and longer) for the back. What do you think about this idea? Also, I'm thinking to create a bicycle camper for myself. If you were to create one, about how much weight do you think this scooter could pull? Here's my last question: I'd like to continuously power the scooter using a solar power station that I'd keep in a basket on the bike, however, I'd need some type of canopy that will holding a folding (like a hikers) solar panel (nothing heavy). What would you suggest? Perhaps you've done this already? Thanks for your video and your time :)
The range on my EcoSmart is only about 7 miles or so as is, out of the box. And one of its biggest shortcomings is the lack of regenerative braking. I don't know whether you could charge the batteries using solar at a rate that would be practical - it would be a complex function involving variables including amperage output of your charging system, distance traveled, weight (including added weight of your charging system components), acceleration, drag coefficient (canopy in the wind?), terrain (hills or flat?), sunlight, time, and tire pressure (another source of potential drag). I couldn't begin to answer your question with any significant accuracy. That said, if your intention is to travel 6-7 miles and then chill out for a few to several hours or more to recharge and go again - in theory it would work. Theory and practicality don't always meet on friendly terms. I hope this answer helps in some way. It would be a really fun experiment! Thanks for watching!
thank you. the UPS dumped the giant box..and i being a "girl" hauled it in.like a rat..into the front door.. i left off the luggage rack it add's too much weight, for my hilly area, and it only allows "11 pounds on the basket. the rack is about 5 pounds! the basket is 1 pound metal. the bike says 220 max ! this is a very strong well built adult size..WHEW...i am happy.
Charge time from completely dead is about 2 hours or so but range is difficult for me to answer. There are so many variables like weight of rider, speed, ambient air temperature and terrain (flat or hills). I ride mine about 6 miles before the battery is showing fatigue. I weigh 180 lbs and live in and area where there are many hills. Hope that helps.
@@UrbanMonkTV I twist the throttle nothing n its fully charged is it the motor or throttle I jus order a multimeter to test Everything bcuz I don't know what's wrong
@@LoccedinLoccedout OK, so looks like some small amount of power is getting to the motor. Good that you ordered a multimeter. Will be either the battery or a loose connection somewhere I'd guess. Possibly a short somewhere also, but I tend to think that's less likely.
Hi! Do you think this would be a good choice for an urban environment? Not too hilly but I may be maneuvering here and there. Also does it indicate anywhere how fast you're going? Thanks so much.
Sorry to hear that. I assume you've tried to reinflate and it has gone flat again. It's built like a bicycle tire, so repair will be similar. You could take to a bicycle shop for repair or do RUclips search for any bicycle tire repair and the process will be similar. Front is easier than rear. I may do a video on this in the future. Thanks for the idea.

@@nehemiahcuevas16 Without taking mine apart, it appears the motor does not have to come off to remove rear wheel. I'd be very surprised if it did. I would think so. It's not very heavy and the torque from the rear wheel is significant. It's difficult to say for sure without seeing your exact situation. The only problem may be the sensitivity of the throttle. The power delivery is a little abrupt (sort on/off) from a dead stop. When you have your weight on it, it's smooth, but unloaded it might become a bit herky-jerky.
