Check out SUPER VOCAL episode 1 and 2 if you haven't. Three from it sang with Dimash on the video QUEEN FOREVER or FOREVER QUEEN. AYUNGA was one of the singers. The SUPER VOCAL show has a few videos with songs sang in English like THE SOUND OF SILENCE, I DREAMED A DREAM, THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT where Ayunga is one of the duet, the second one to sing to fact. I think you haven't reacted to "Give me love" a very beautiful kazakh song Dimash sang on SINGER 2017 ep.14. It was after the competition, every contestants came back to sing a last time for a charity gala. So there were no pressure anymore. The lyrics are very powerful and Dimash rendition is very touching, his way of singing is not as technical as in the other episodes (no high notes here) but it's all the more interesting, it shows very well how beautiful Dimash's voice is basically and how talented he is to deliver emotions. Please, don't miss it. And thank you for all your reactions about Dimash, I appreciated a lot the fact that you took time for watching his performances from the singer first. I think it was a good approach, because these performances are all very good and were so meaningful for him as he was beginning his career. Any of the songs where he collaborates with Igor Krutoi (composer/pianist) are amazing (the Ogni Pietra song was one of those), Mademoiselle Hyde, Love is like a Dream, Love of tired Swans, Ascolta La Voce /Know. Somehow the songs Krutoi writes fit Dimash incredibly well. Those songs use his talents very well, makes him stretch his vocals from lowest to highest.
Dimash is amazing! Loved your reaction! One interesting thing to note is that he sang the Diva Dance at the Bastau concert at about the 2 hour point. So not only did he kill it, but he killed it after almost 2 hours of energetic singing! Simply awesome!

Hey Caleb, i am sure that you noticed how in The Singer version when he started he used more "H" and in Bastau version he started with "A" . That means he improved himself. Crazy , and btw in that run he used 14 notes in 1.5 - 2 seconds

I love how he strolls around the stage casually like other people walk into a Starbucks - I don't understand 😂 If you want to see how his voice has matured since The Singer, especially the lower range, you should watch Love is Like a Dream. Also don't forget Sinful Passion from Sochi ☺️, some nice lower range in there too, even though it's from mid 2018 I believe. Love of Tired Swans from the Kremlin performance is also a must. Know/Ascolte la Voca from the Moscow concert in March is a very interesting and different piece of music (by Igor Krutoy). There are several versions on here, I like the fancam best. For TV they dubbed the performance with studio audio which makes the video look fake ( the vocals of the studio version are amazing though) - the song is very different, not just for Dimash....it's very unusual. Yes, that run he did in the Bastau concert was insane! There is a video of the different singers (mostly women) who attempted to sing Diva Dance the way the alien did in The Fifth Element. Dimash's version is the best, considering that he's a guy!
Listening to Dimash at the Singer competion and following his growth is amazing, of course he still goes to school and practices and it shows. He just makes me Happy!❤
Enjoyable as usual, thanks. I know that many people suggest to react to these crazy range songs in Russian (and I am sure you will do that anyway), but personally, although I was born in Russia and speak Russian, I think that the songs in his native language (which I don't know) are the most melodic, heartfelt, emotional and beautiful: Give Me Love, Karagym Ai (The Apple of My Eye), Karatorgai, songs that he just performs acapella, like Dudarai etc. (there are compilation videos) and many more. Also beautiful are the songs in Chinese, practically all of them. I really like the songs Okinish (Regret) and War and Peace he composed. Also Mlle Hyde and the vocalise Know (from the Moscow concert - but the fan cam version, not studio). Also please don't overlook the duets he does with Chinese and Kazakh singers, many of them opera singers: My Swan from the Bastau Concert, Question of Honor, Tu vas me détruire from Notre-Dame de Paris, Swan Goose, Jasmine Flower and others - they are all masterpieces in my opinion and it's amazing to see how he can adjust his voice to best suit the partner. I would suggest in general to do songs from his various concerts - Bastau, Moscow, Arnau and also in China, especially the one in which he performs in a pouring rain in Chengdu in April this year - you can learn a lot about his personality through it. Also I would suggest to at least watch Ogni Pietra and SOS from the Arnau concert - they are breathtaking, and SOS is extremely moving because he performed it in tribute to his friend who was an ice skating champion and skated to this song and they also planned to sing together in his next concert, but the friend, Denis, was killed about a year ago before they had the chance to do that. If you watch eact to this, make sure that you do the official version, because after the song he also talks about his friend and addresses the parents, and this version has subtitles in English ruclips.net/video/hKk3QPxzQCE/видео.html. Many other songs in that concert are worth looking into as well, like If I Ever Breath Again, Durdaraz and the song he dedicated to his grandparents. And I would also do his music videos: Screaming, The Meaning of Eternity, Ocean Over Time, My Swan. I know that's too much already, so I will stop here - there are too many great things, I hope in time you can get to them all...

The Bastau concert has so many amazing moments. I think it is worth checking out the full thing at some point to see where Dimash was at just after the Singer competition. It has a lot more upbeat songs than you have seen him do. He was certainly in amazing form that day. Of his original songs my favorite is "War and Peace". Thanks for all your great reactions Caleb!
I love how he starts in Chinese. It's so romantic sounding, and his Chinese is surprisingly on point, more so than his English. It's also more difficult to sing in Chinese from the variety of vowels and complex combination of consonants. Mad respect. It took me a really long time just to learn a few Chinese songs. Japanese by contrast is super simple, but then again I also spent more years studying Japanese than Chinese. I love his Italian as well. It's also quite on point, which is understandable because of his mother tongue and classical training.

There are a couple of songs left from The Singer (A tribute to MJ medley & Give me love), but IMO, they are not that significant to make a reaction video, so perhaps you can watch them on your own time if you like?? I would recommend Lionel Rochie’s Hello for you to react. Dimash sang it as a guest singer on The Singer 2018. It shouldn’t be missed!! And Sinful Passion from Sochi 2018, Love of tired swans at Kremlin 2018. So you can see his progression.
I kind of agree about Give Me Love but it is VERY significant to watch Tribute because MJ is his idol & we women have to support and promote other women & Laure was so good & he plays an instrument & the special precious group that joins them for the final song of the medley & the 3 times they show his father & MOTHER in the front row. And after the Singer show he wrote War and Peace. I didn't like those songs in the beginning to be honest but now I'm obsessed with War and Peace, so recommending that one as well. I don't know whether you know the Chinese-Mongolian singer Tengri who has been well known for decades, if not, check out his song Heaven. The reason I'm saying this is that Dimash and he did a duet called Swan Goose which is really extraordinary, but Tengri's technique doesn't really show that well in that duet and I'd love for you to react or listen to that one too XDD Thanks for your reaction! That descending run in Bastau is just crazy. There's another reactor on YT (RNBSingingLessons) that slowed it waaaay down and counted the notes... it was 12 or 13. Insane. Ep 13 - Michael Jackson medley with Laure Shang Ep 14 - Restart My Love I'm excited to see you get into some of the more recent performances, too... that feeling of "at this point nothing should surprise me, but yet he still surprises me " is FAR FROM OVER. He has some serious "tricks" you have not seen yet. After Singer 2017, I recommend Hello (Lionel Richie cover) from Singer 2018. Thank you for great reaction and appreciation of his low as well as highs. Bastau version is exactly the same as in the Fifth Element movie that was composed to be impossible for human being. The composer was shocked when the professional opera singer was able to sing 60% of the composition. I would love to see the face expression to this performance :) Regarding the run, if I remember correctly it has 12 notes in super short time :)
This was the first song I heard him singing, as this song and movie are one of my favourites. I was very sceptical. Jane Zhang did great job as well, but she understandably missed the low notes and in my opinion her performance missed the power, as she has soft, delicate voice.

Dear Caleb, so glad you watched both versions...I think that run at Bastau may have surprised you despite it being tougher to be surprised by Dimash! 😉 There’s one more performance from Singer 2017, but it’s an MJ tribute/duet and I’d skip it. Do watch “Hello” (Lionel Richie song) from his guest appearance at Singer 2018. It’s a fantastic interpretation! Then I’d recommend Sinful Passion, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde and my favorite, Love is Like a Dream (perfection)...really in no particular order. The later 3 are composed by Igor Krutoy who wrote “Ogni Pietra” for Dimash (which by the way was SO good at his Arnau concert!). They are in the midst of a wonderful collaboration. Dimash has composed other songs since Unforgettable Day, but we have yet to see if he will write lyrics as well. I also love two songs that he recorded but I don’t believe has ever sung live - “The Meaning of Eternity” (promo song for a Chines musical) and “Ocean Over Time” (video game soundtrack). To skip his duet would be so wrong to not see him playing the instrument and not see his father and MOTHER in the front row smiling and clapping 3 times during the medley as well as not seeing and hearing the guest singer who is so good herself. Dimash is amazing! Loved your reaction! One interesting thing to note is that he sang the Diva Dance at the Bastau concert at about the 2 hour point. So not only did he kill it, but he killed it after almost 2 hours of energetic singing! Simply awesome!

Hey Caleb, i am sure that you noticed how in The Singer version when he started he used more "H" and in Bastau version he started with "A" . That means he improved himself. Crazy , and btw in that run he used 14 notes in 1.5 - 2 seconds

I love how he strolls around the stage casually like other people walk into a Starbucks - I don't understand 😂 If you want to see how his voice has matured since The Singer, especially the lower range, you should watch Love is Like a Dream. Also don't forget Sinful Passion from Sochi ☺️, some nice lower range in there too, even though it's from mid 2018 I believe. Love of Tired Swans from the Kremlin performance is also a must. Know/Ascolte la Voca from the Moscow concert in March is a very interesting and different piece of music (by Igor Krutoy). There are several versions on here, I like the fancam best. For TV they dubbed the performance with studio audio which makes the video look fake ( the vocals of the studio version are amazing though) - the song is very different, not just for Dimash....it's very unusual. Yes, that run he did in the Bastau concert was insane! There is a video of the different singers (mostly women) who attempted to sing Diva Dance the way the alien did in The Fifth Element. Dimash's version is the best, considering that he's a guy!

Enjoyable as usual, thanks. I know that many people suggest to react to these crazy range songs in Russian (and I am sure you will do that anyway), but personally, although I was born in Russia and speak Russian, I think that the songs in his native language (which I don't know) are the most melodic, heartfelt, emotional and beautiful: Give Me Love, Karagym Ai (The Apple of My Eye), Karatorgai, songs that he just performs acapella, like Dudarai etc. (there are compilation videos) and many more. Also beautiful are the songs in Chinese, practically all of them. I really like the songs Okinish (Regret) and War and Peace he composed. Also Mlle Hyde and the vocalise Know (from the Moscow concert - but the fan cam version, not studio). Also please don't overlook the duets he does with Chinese and Kazakh singers, many of them opera singers: My Swan from the Bastau Concert, Question of Honor, Tu vas me détruire from Notre-Dame de Paris, Swan Goose, Jasmine Flower and others - they are all masterpieces in my opinion and it's amazing to see how he can adjust his voice to best suit the partner. I would suggest in general to do songs from his various concerts - Bastau, Moscow, Arnau and also in China, especially the one in which he performs in a pouring rain in Chengdu in April this year - you can learn a lot about his personality through it. Also I would suggest to at least watch Ogni Pietra and SOS from the Arnau concert - they are breathtaking, and SOS is extremely moving because he performed it in tribute to his friend who was an ice skating champion and skated to this song and they also planned to sing together in his next concert, but the friend, Denis, was killed about a year ago before they had the chance to do that. Many other songs in that concert are worth looking into as well, like If I Ever Breath Again, Durdaraz and the song he dedicated to his grandparents. The Bastau concert has so many amazing moments. I think it is worth checking out the full thing at some point to see where Dimash was at just after the Singer competition. It has a lot more upbeat songs than you have seen him do. He was certainly in amazing form that day.
Of his original songs my favorite is "War and Peace".

I love how he starts in Chinese. It's so romantic sounding, and his Chinese is surprisingly on point, more so than his English. It's also more difficult to sing in Chinese from the variety of vowels and complex combination of consonants. Mad respect. It took me a really long time just to learn a few Chinese songs. Japanese by contrast is super simple, but then again I also spent more years studying Japanese than Chinese.
I love his Italian as well. It's also quite on point, which is understandable because of his mother tongue and classical training.

I kind of agree about Give Me Love but it is VERY significant to watch Tribute because MJ is his idol & we women have to support and promote other women & Laure was so good & he plays an instrument & the special precious group that joins them for the final song of the medley & the 3 times they show his father & MOTHER in the front row. He so wants to be like MJ & every concert includes at least 1 tribute to MJ so every reactor should see this tribute 🎶👱♀️😃❤

Please react to Sinful Passion and Love of Tired Swans. Also Daididau was not by him as far as I know, he wrote Unforgettable Day when he was 19 I think? And after the Singer show he wrote War and Peace. I didn't like those songs in the beginning to be honest but now I'm obsessed with War and Peace, so recommending that one as well. I don't know whether you know the Chinese-Mongolian singer Tengri who has been well known for decades, if not, check out his song Heaven. The reason I'm saying this is that Dimash and he did a duet called Swan Goose which is really extraordinary, but Tengri's technique doesn't really show that well in that duet and I'd love for you to react or listen to that one too XDD

Thank you for great reaction and appreciation of his low as well as highs. Bastau version is exactly the same as in the Fifth Element movie that was composed to be impossible for human being. The composer was shocked when the professional opera singer was able to sing 60% of the composition. I would love to see the face expression to this performance :)

This was the first song I heard him singing, as this song and movie are one of my favourites. I was very sceptical. Jane Zhang did great job as well, but she understandably missed the low notes and in my opinion her performance missed the power, as she has soft, delicate voice.

I've been going through so much lately...you and Dimash are impeccable inspirations! I graduated from Bible College a few years ago just to give you a little bit more background. Dear Caleb, so glad you watched both versions...I think that run at Bastau may have surprised you despite it being tougher to be surprised by Dimash! 😉 There’s one more performance from Singer 2017, but it’s an MJ tribute/duet and I’d skip it. Do watch “Hello” (Lionel Richie song) from his guest appearance at Singer 2018. It’s a fantastic interpretation! Then I’d recommend Sinful Passion, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde and my favorite, Love is Like a Dream (perfection)...really in no particular order. The later 3 are composed by Igor Krutoy who wrote “Ogni Pietra” for Dimash (which by the way was SO good at his Arnau concert!). They are in the midst of a wonderful collaboration. Dimash has composed other songs since Unforgettable Day, but we have yet to see if he will write lyrics as well. I also love two songs that he recorded but I don’t believe has ever sung live - “The Meaning of Eternity” (promo song for a Chines musical) and “Ocean Over Time” (video game soundtrack). I agree with kikiwilcone to skip the MJ tribute/duet. Nothing exceptional and a lot of people complained at that time that it was dominated by Shang. Better to go immediately to his performances after Singer 2017 (as guest in Singer 2018 and 2019, the Sochi and Kremlin performances - Sinful Passion, Love Is Like a Dream, The Love of Tired Swans, Ascolta la Voce/Know, Mademoiselle Hyde and his performance of his own composition, War and Peace).
