- Hey there welcome back. In today’s video I will be showing you how to do a protective style on your baby’s hair without hurting or damaging your baby’s hair. In this video my baby is 3 months old. Every baby is different when it comes to the amount of hair they have and age. I would say once your baby has a good amount of hair it is time to start doing some protective styles to maintain their hair. I love this. My baby is 6 months and i detangle a lot with my finger as opposed to the comb because she fusses a lot but it seems like I’m gonna have to use a comb 🥰🥰. She’s so precious and calm. You’re patient as well. Thanks for the video.

No but I just learned of this technique about a week ago.. so I will be trying that.. currently I’m using these mini hair ties that’s made by a brand called scunci and that’s been working very well.. I got them from Walgreens

Love your video-- how long does this style normally last? Does she sleep in it overnight?

She's so cute! My 4 month old daughter's hair is coming out in the back although I always try to make sure I lay her on top of something silky or satin... she moves alot on her sleep so that doesn't always work. I would really like to find something to actually put on her head but none of her bonnets or silk lined turbans actually stay on 😂. Is there a specific brand that you recommend? Or any other tips to keep it from rubbing out?
No specific brand yet.. I just order them off Amazon
What really helps my baby from losing any hair is using polyester baby blankets. I use them as bedding for her cott, I place it on my arm before feeding her so she’s laying on the blanket, her hair isn’t rubbing on my arm. I use them for everything really. I don’t let her lay on anything cotton

I use Jamaica black castor oil is that ok I notice it kinda thickens my baby hair
I have mixed feelings about castor oil.. however if it’s working then by all means keep using it.
My daughter is 5 months and her hair is at shoulder level. She was born with 2inch long hair. I just hope it will not fall off...

Just regular rubber bands from the hair store

I use Silk bonnet and silk scarves

I would say 3 months
Or depending on how much hair your baby has.. but nothing sooner then 3 months

My ex wife would not allow me to cut our first born sons hair for the first 4 years of his life. She would never give me a reason why she was doing this. She got very upset when I cut our second born sons hair with out her permission. She was upset because I messed up the satanic witchcraft hair ritual she was doing on our son's without my knowledge. My ex wife was attempting to purposely turn our first born son into a homosexual. She was also attempting to make me believe our second born son had hearing problems. She will receive the death penalty for her evil witchcraft spells.
Sidenote: She made me promise to bring back some of our first born sons hair after his first haircut. I wonder what kind of spell she needed his hair for. 🤔
