Okay so a Jamaican is here to fact check some things from this video and a few fun facts.
    1. The water catching on fire is said to have natural oils on top and when you light it and bathe in it , it has healing properties. Dont know how true that is.
    2. The ackee is the national fruit that can be cooked with many things most famously saltfish but the only reason why it is a fruit is becuase it has a seed which is the black part but be careful because if it is picked before the pod naturally opens it can be poisonous so dont go around eating it from just anyone becuase vendors will pick it and force it open and sell and you would never know. My cousin and her family died becuase of that.
    3. People was using Ganja even when it was illegal so they legalize it in certain amounts.
    4. Jamaican people always trying to whine to music so that is what that guy was trying to do at the party but you certainly right to ask him to move becuase you didn't concent to that and some of them can get wild with the whining.
    5. His accent is so cringy and I was dying. We do not sound like that.
    6. We do give nicknames if we are close to a person. I have a friend from primary school and even today we still call him "bruk up" becuase he broke his arm a few years ago.
    7. We do have a good relationship with China and the fund and construct alot of huge projects out here.
    8. The visa free entry is not true. We need a visa for the USA and the other places he stated. Let me know if you have any questions. Ayo I got a shout out... thank you guys 💜💜💜💜

In terms of Americans with Jamaican ancestry that’s clear, Busta Rhymes is one, you can hear it in his stuff

Yeah, I immediately thought "I didn't know Biggie was drom Jamaica". There's a large Irish influence in Jamaica too, they left us out. A lot of Irish were forced into indenture in Jamaica. I think something like 25% of Jamaicans claim Irish descent. Irish Jamaicans are the second biggest erhnic group in Jamaica after African Jamaicans. Even some of their Patois words come from Irish, like their word for a sweater, "gansey", which is basically the Irish word "gansaí" also meaning a sweater.

Kingston is Jamaica's capital which has nice places, beautiful park, hotels, restaurants, high rise buildings, skylines etc. Our food are amazing.
