  • Welcome to my 585th flight on Air Asia A320 from Yogyakarta to Kuala Lumpur. I had never been to Indonesia before this trip, although had the opportunity to transit through CGK last year. This year, I couldn't resist the chance to visit famous Borobudur temple, when I found a reasonable priced Air Asia ticket from KUL to YIA. With RM443 per person, this was my first visit to the country. All Air Asia, Batik Air and Malaysia Airlines fly to Yogyakarta. AK fly twice daily from KUL to YIA, making KUL one of the most connected foreign airports with YIA. This is the flight report featuring return trip from Yogyakarta to Kuala Lumpur.
The full flight details are shown in the following:
    Date: 30th June 2023
Route: Yogyakarta (YIA) to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL)
    Airlines: Air Asia
    Flight number: AK347
    Scheduled departure/ arrival: 11:45am to 3:20pm
    Actual departure/ arrival: 11:53am to 3:20pm

I have been to CGK terminal 3 last year, which is equally modern and impressive. Have only been to these two airports in Indonesia, so don't know about the others

@@xijiayu YIA is full of beautiful javanese culture and art touch, that's what makes YIA to be the most beautiful airport in indonesia but from the building size Soetta 3 is the largest in indonesia ever while YIA is the second 🙏

FYI... YIA is the 6th in Indonesia with dedicated train station, after Medan, Jakarta, Padang, Solo, and Palembang

You need to pass through domestic departure, before heading to international departure lounge. There is an immigration check point and extra security when going through international lounge
