This is one of my favourite parts in history where Nehru ji, who is not wrong on use of peaceful means is quite respectful and understanding of the cause of violence.
And Patel ji, who knew that peace is earned either with respect or fear.
Both had same intentions with opposing approaches.
A perfect duo i would say. Nehru ji could have been the centre stage when we needed to act in peace and respect and Patel ji when the other party did not give respect would act in the form of fear.
After all, Nehru ji had one weakness that he was too kind and Patel ji knew that a man with big stick is not feared if they do not occasionally swing the stick.

Point is you cant prove someone is peaceful, you can just observe it.

What i am learning is that Sri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was clearly 10 steps ahead of others ... Personalities like Netaji openly went against Gandhi and Nehru and lost their lives and country lost it's chance of progress
