Thanks for the wonderful video! I went on the Grand Princess nine years ago and we just booked on the Discovery Princess for this summer (July ‘23). So excited! Princess has the perfect balance of upscale and relaxed feeling.
Oooo - a shiny new ship!! Princess is in our bucket list to try and I have heard many good things about Discovery Princess, for sure. That supper = YUM and the head of the trivia sure looked like he had FUN with his job! How wonderful to watch!

Really enjoyed this video, and very glad I'm not the only one that finds the Princess emergency video really long - I always think the ship will have sunk by the time I watch it, haha!
As a Vegas Veteran the old school slots have the lowest volatility (best bang per buck), the newer animated games with 4D motion and license branding (Game of Thrones, Simpsons, etc) are a shot in the dark. Although when you win, you win Big. The Gaming license is one of the strictest in the world and contrary to many the slots are not fixed but have a win/loss cycle that must be maintained to be legal.
Love, love the casino coverage! I usually only get this with slot vloggers who cruise - but now my favorite cruise vloggers are including a little - thanks!!!
What a great first day! The Good Spirits Bar was one of my favorite places on the ship! I loved the Crown Grill! It was my first dinner there as well. 😊
All we’ve been told is security reasons. No video near the x-ray machines and metal detectors. Disney World also warned us against video in their security area.
Love the repositioning to your next destination; I'd love to do that! I love the decor of the Plaza/Atrium! Green find with Good Spirits; I'd love that experience. The food looks incredible! I forget how good Princess food is. I look forward to seeing the rest of this vlog series!

Not impressed with Princess. They upcharge for a couch in the cabin, still use shower curtains and I’ll bet you can’t fit on the balcony if you sit on the chairs. No thanks. But no problem, I don’t need to make that decision. Love you guys!
Those Princess balconies are often quite small. Deck 8 mid-ship are the ones to go for, when you can get them.. Extra deck space + a great view at an obstructed price.

I was not sure if you were aware ,but with those travel agent perks,the mini bar set up a lot of times if you tell them you would rather have just all soda or non alcoholic beverages they will do that. I am also an agent, when we were on Crown Princess they gave us like 15 cans of just coke zero👍☺️
Aww man their hotdogs where so good. I ate a bunch in Alaska. Lol. I mentioned the truffle fries but that was at the deli on carnival. It was a truffle oil on em. Soo good. That steak looked good. Guess we try em next Princess cruise.

Lou is the one on the microphone and making the drinks. If you collect 11 different Good Spirits drink cards during a cruise, they give you a Good Spirits t-shirt, if they don’t run out, as they did on my second week. I helped a friend collect cards the first week so she got a shirt.

@@parodeejay we usually skip the theater and spend most nights getting poor playing slot machines, so we love to see what games they have on different ships. Most videos they just run through real fast, I didn't know you weren't allowed to film in there though when it's open
Since Dee is Elite and you are not are the invites for the Elite member and a +1? I am Elite but my husband is not, we are traveling with another couple who are first-time Princess cruisers. I am super excited to watch these videos as we are cruising on an Alaska southbound cruise in 42 days on the Grand Princess.

From what we’ve heard from friends onboard, an actual passport is needed for the one-way sailings, which is how we roll anyway just to be safe.

Beautiful new ship but can't believe they are still using shower curtains. That would be a deal breaker for me.
I think a shower curtain lets you have more room in that tight bathroom. A shower door would limit movement in there to a certain degree.
