Keep that % save and publsih
Is there any way. If we want to see percentage for each category individualy. Like I want fto see 20% sales in July only how can we do that I want percentage slicer for each month
There is some custom visual which you can simulate. Search for that
finished watching
Thanks keep learning
Thank you for the video.. Please make more videos on scenario based topic
Thanks. Keep learning
Hi sir, my what if analysis tab is disabled. Please suggest.,
You might be using ssas tabular please check your data source type
There is limitation to the what if analysis based on data source type.
thanking sir, you made video on the topic .
You're most welcome
Sir is that possible during a comparison Old and new profit we can put actual cost of a category/ Products which will provide us more visibility in same visual.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for suggestion. Yes that's true. It is one way of analysing data. This video is to have high level idea about what if analysis ... Lot of business scenario are there for what if analysis
What is parameters? differences between paeameteres and filter
Parameters is from outside power BI you need to input some value. Filters are within power BI and it is based on the dataset
@@AnalyticswithNags tnq sir
plz make a video on Parameters
Will make it soon
Hi sir from where can we download the source file
Check the description of the video.
If doesn't exist check previous video in playlist
Nag we total DAX functions as a single video plz do it
Soon will make it
@@AnalyticswithNags thanks nag
i don't know if my math is weak or if the 22 thousand people who watched this math genius r stupid..
suppose a product costs 80 and sells at 100 so 20 is the profit
As per this video if a person wants to give 10% discount (for assumption) then, out of 20 profit we reduce 2 so the new profit comes out to be 18 which mathematically is incorrect as the discount is calculated on selling price and not on profit.
So actually selling price of 100 gets 10% discount so new S.P. becomes 90 so, new profit is 90-80= 10.
so the formula should have been (sum(sales[cost amount]) + sum(sales[profit])) * ((100-disc%[disc% value])/100) - sum(sales[cost amount])
Spot on. This video is all about knowing the features of power BI. These logics are to be considered as Business logics it varies based on business and each requirement.
The purpose of video is not how to calculate discount percentages rather it is more on to the about what if analysis feature.
I hope there is no genius or stupid here it’s all about feature in power bi.
Ofcourse I am week in math but I have scored 💯 in my 10th grade 😉
