Took the words right outta my damn soul, literally 5 minutes ago I just threw away all of my drug paraphernalia. My trauma can’t be an excuse to waste away in a stupor. I can’t take being addicted any longer man. Also kinda considering texting a previous fumble to hit it off again. (I think it’s pretty likely) I totally earned this shit, I’m in tears for the first time in a while and I feel fucking amazing.
Wonder why japanese don't use this type of art style anymore, it's strong, heavily atmospheric and beautiful, something that you won't ever get tired of watching, a true masterpiece. Just looking at it make me feels like I'm there.
The answers are already there. Too costly to make, time consuming, heavy strain on the artists who have to meet the schedule to make ends meet for the company to make money and they don't even get paid well after that much work due to what is basically a "teacher-apprentice" type system where newbies don't earn nothing, plus Japanese work culture. It's not just about aesthetics. It is simply not sustainable. In the end a lot of the actual animation work had to be outsourced to China, South Korea, and even North Korea through Chinese outsourcing companies outsourcing it there(this is not a joke) to actually make money and keep the industry going. Yes they look good but money-god said no. Can't do it anymore.
i'm at such a confusing place in my life right now. i'm 22, feeling like everything is against me most of the time. but im so full of love for this world that's crumbling apart around me, and for the people that i have in my life, and for myself. im working really hard to get onto disability and set up other means to support myself, and i never imagined that i would be where i am now. i dont know why i typed this, but this video showed up and no one can really search for it, so i'll probably forget about it. i hope if i ever see it again, i'll be somewhere where things aren't so against me

I saw this video and closed RUclips, then I realized, it wasn't an ad, it was art staring me in my face. I opened again immediately, I clicked this gem, and wept, i would have missed this video and never saw it again, nameless, unseekable.
The algorithm is now showing me those types of videos sometimes because I click on them. It's nice, and weirdly comforting. For once, nobody is trying to convince me of anything or sell me anything. I totally agree with you. I find that now everything is too smooth, there are not as many elements visually. Everything is too "perfect"

It's mostly hand drawn, we use cg and modern drawing technique to animate now.

The fact that you see this planet as a prison when it is a paradise just shows how you’ve chosen to see all the negative and disrespect, forsake & reject all of the good. And yes I am selfish-I’ve spent most of my life being overtly selfless and it caused me nothing but suffering. And despite the fact that everything alive switches from intervals of growth and decay you choose only to focus on the state of decay. You have the outlook of a weak and ill individual who is destined to avoid true fulfilment and happiness solely due to your own choice as to the take you wish to adopt. It’s a mindset people naturally find unattractive because it is an anti-life perspective.
And no, you are not in Hel yet but if you want to leave this beautiful experience there are certain actions you can take and no one is stopping you. Although I would strongly advise against it, and if you were to follow through with such a desire then you would simply be confirming the fact that you are unwell as all life naturally wants to stay here and continue to live.

Listening to this on new year's eve. Lots of things happened this year. Lost some, gain some. It's been a fun year. I'm as happy as I could be, yet here I am feeling a bit lost and weary.
Perhaps it's greed. Perhaps I'm wanting more than my lot in life. I tried not to think about it, and be grateful instead.

Staying up till dawn watching through all of Toonami and the wierdest shit adult swim had to offer. Ghost in the Shell blew my mind and changed my life. Making my goals happen, with good memories in mind, to music like this sounds like a good life to me.

Low-key thought it was 86 for a moment
I saw this video and closed RUclips, then I realized, it wasn't an ad, it was art staring me in my face. I opened again immediately, I clicked this gem, and wept, i would have missed this video and never saw it again, nameless, unseekable.
The algorithm is now showing me those types of videos sometimes because I click on them. It's nice, and weirdly comforting. For once, nobody is trying to convince me of anything or sell me anything. And there aren't any requirements for being part of this, except that the videos have to find you. I'm glad they do.
