ive watched this video so many damn times, jimmys solo is possibly my favourite ever. stunning
Rogers is playing his axe through a Leslie (organ) speaker while playing rhythym. That's where that organ-like tone is coming from. He's nailing it...
Bigtime!
cargo pants with sport coat. Fashion and monster chops. Got to love some jimmy herring
YESSIR!!! Jimmy is my effing hero..has been since i first heard him with the dead..UNTOUCHABLE!!!
Jimmy Herring is in a league of his own
humble thyselves in the presence of herring and rogers. two guys coming from two different places and just thundering
i agree his album is incredible, everything on it.
Wow! impressive guitar perfprmance!! not forgetting the amazing backup jimmy's got!! never heard of Col Bruce & The Codetalkers!
Hope now you realize that the whole band is back ups to Col. Bruce?
these guys are modern americana at its best. this is great. herring is god
Glad you like it. You should check out the rest of the dvd! Jimmy really is awesome.
Yea Bobby Lee rogers is the man!
Jimmy is just awesome. Love Derek too.
Sensational. C'mon guys, come over to London and show us how it's done!
Damn damn damn. Kickass.
WOW! That's hot! Their Bonnaroo show this year was smokin' too!
yes, excellent.. jimmy is one of my all time faves, but the other guy plays apretty wicked solo also.
Over 200 bpm great musicianship.
I've never met Jimmy, but my good friend Rush Anderson down there in Atl engineered and mixed the new CD, with Jimmy. Rush says it is fantastic!
Stage of Elegance
Derek learned a lot from Jimmy and Col Bruce. When he was young they were people he would play with a lot.
that '67 super jimmy's using sounds great!
This guy has Re-Defined scales for playing.
E X C E L L E N T style.
great clip thanks
loved it~
Ive seen these guys in concert and sometimes you forget that the guy is playing a guitar. Sounds just like an organ. Warren Haynes also play through one too.
i love the sound of his leslie
You should check out Herring, Rodgers, Sipe, and Fountain. Even better!
I wish my super sounded that good..
In time... in time...
Great playing by both guitarists. Jimmy played the hair off of it...
N-I-C-E sometimes it`s what you dont play that realy counts
@willburr The bad ass BOBBY LEE ROGERS!!!
2:28 - 4:20 omgomgomg so good.
intro kinda sounds like it was influenced by the Allman Brothers One Way Out..call me crazy I hear it.....but these guys are awesome in concert a must see show
bobby makes that thing sound like an organ.
No, but there is over 3 hrs of content including 4 Ratdog songs clocking in at over an hr. The have alot of other festivals too!
GEEZERPALOOZA Say it LOUD im old and im PROUD
Wasn't that guy with the V on swing blade? The one that wrote the lyrics to the sonds "Doyle" and his band played? Maybe he just resembles him, and sounds like him!
@joelkeaton probably a fender super reverb with tone tubby speakers. his distortion pedal is a fuchs pre-amp. dont know the name of it though
DAMN!!! That opening rhythm riff is sick...Who is that?
who's playing the acoustic guitar? Very Nice.
oh yea, well friends uncle works for the guy who used to be jimmy's gardner! says he used to see jimmy from like ten feet away!
JH is god
man what amp is he using. I REALLY like his tone. I can tell its partly that PRS but seriously anyone know what amp he is using?..
Jimmy uses Fuchs custom heads and Tone Tubby cabs.
There's like zero energy (visual) between Bobby Lee and Jimmy, but there's plenty of chemistry.
