Stuff I filmed at Steamrail’s open day at Newport Workshops! (9-3-24)

Today on the 9th of March I visited Newport Workshops for its open day, an event that occurs every 2 years. There I got to see a lot of stuff such as locomotives K140, K190, R700, R707, R761, A2 986, B72, S301 ‘Sir Thomas Mitchell’, A66, a DERM, Y112, and much more rolling stock! I even saw a traction engine!! I also got to visit the Newport Railway Museum! (Entry to which was free with the tickets I got for the open day)

Bring it to Maryborough and invite the 60 class, 38. 59 and Std gauge R. Run std gauge short shuttles to Amphitheater or Avoca. Poor local economy could do with a boost over winter . Broad gauge shuttles to Talbot to coincide with street market.😅
