Just noticed that Jessica has a ability to build a relationship so quick. She met Sylvia, and moy through internet then became close. The same thing with Lia and Ely. Now, she's hanging out with Ely (And unexpectedly in PH haha)
I was 15 when I left the Philippines but I come back to visit every couple of years or when I have enough saved again. lol. I'm always a tourist when I go back as I don't know many places to go other than the places in my childhood memories. Seeing your vlog gives me some ideas that I would like to try next time I get to visit like the Potato Corner- talaga bang masarap sya? I never heard of it. Since I mainly take the public transpo when I'm there, I mainly go and do lakwatsa sa mga malls like in Cubao, makati and North EDSA. I'm taking notes and hope you'll introduce in your vlogs more places to visit and good food to try. I don't look Filipino so lagi akong pinagkakamalan na turista as Chinese, Korean or Japanese. hahahha. Many times Taxi drivers try to rip me off pero pag sinagot ko sila nang tagalog, gulat sila, hahahaha. This is when I get off and look for an honest Taxi driver. Next time, I'll try Mcdo also.😊😊 Stay safe and looking forward to your next vlog.
It must have been a while since you've gone back. You should take Grab next time to avoid those dishonest taxi drivers. And same, I only ever go to and stay in BGC when I'm in NCR. You should go there, it has that "downtown" feel. Lots of shops and restaurants. Very walkable too, so you don't have to worry about getting lost or ripped off by taxi drivers (although I did get lost one time, haha). Venice Mall in McKinley is also cool. Anyway, I get the "tourist" thing. I get lost almost everywhere so I take Grab😆. I hardly recognize the town I grew up in--but I speak fluent Tagalog too, so I pretend I know where I'm going. But yes, lots of food options now in the Philippines--especially Korean bbq. There's Neo/Neapolitan pizza too. Potato Corner can be good depending on where you get it. The few times I got it, it was soggy, but the flavoring powder tastes good. McDonald's is almost the same, as long as you stick to the American part of their menu.
@@ranma9823 Thanks for the suggestions. Last time I was in Manila was Feb 2020 when I had to accompany my mom due to her sister being sick back home. We had to rush back to Manila from the province to avoid being locked out of Manila. I didn't get to go around Manila due to the lockdown. PAL-pak canceled out flight out 2x so we were stuck in there for additional 2 weeks from our original departure. We finally decided to fly out by Asiana. Best milkteas in PH would always depend on what specifically the type of Milktea you are looking for. Here are some of the top ones that are my favorites and I listed them according to their types/style. If you're looking for the cheapest ones, it would be I ❤️ Milktea, Serenitea and Infinitea. If you're a sweetooth, go for I ❤️ Milktea, Cha Tuk Chak and Tiger Sugar. If you love Milktea with great cream cheese or cream in general. Go for Macao Imperial, Moonleaf Tea Shop, D'Cream Coffee and Tea, Dakasi. If you are that type to really savour the tea leaf flavors in a Milktea. Happy Lemon, Chatime, Ersao, and Gong Cha would be the ones for you. If you're looking for the aesthetically pleasing or instagrammable type of Milktea, best to try Macao Imperial, Dakasi, CoCo, Tiger Sugar, Cha Tuk Chak. I hope this helps Jessica and welcome back to the Philippines! ❤️
i have a creepy story in this mall as a li'l kid and it is one of those that i cannot forget. we used to go there almost every week when i was 3 to 4 years old and mom and dad memorizes the mall that much. after 4 years i think, not so long before we visit the mall again (probably the last time) it was December 24, 2007, i was 8 years old at that time. at first it was all normal till we go to the playground there and after that, we visited the statue of our lady of manaoag and if im not mistaken it was near at this place 9:53 the playground was in the cmiddle of the circle and there was hallway at each corners like a sun. whenever we go, we always ended up in the our lady of manaoag for some strange reason.almost every places we go, we ended up in the same spot. we tried to go outside which was near the Landmark but we go back inside the mall before because it was too dark outside and mama was freaked out due to the fact that it was only months ago after the Glorietta Bombing happened where lots of people died. mama decided to ask the guard where to go so we can get out of that spot. it was really a bizarre experience. after that incident i never go back there again.
Ate jessica's Tagalog is really improving a lot. I remember one of her vlog na speaking Tagalog in a day in korea medyo nahihirapan pa siya nun. I think new year yun or Christmas? Yung kumakain siya ng pizza na mag isa. But now she really improved a lot❤🍀
I think it is because of change in environment. In Korea, she didn't really have much reason to speak in Tagalog unless she's with Moy but in PH, there's a lot of people speaking Tagalog so she got a lot more opportunities to listen and talk.

You have to try My.Girl Milk Tea. There are a few branches in Manila. Their drinks are the right amount of sweetness and they use skim milk and honey then the boba pearls are made of sweet potato starch.
I love it when she showed the 200 peso paper bill twice in this video, both when she was about to pay for the petrol and the second one was for the potato corner and milk tea. Cute lang,..

Hahahahha Jessica, you've been dreaming of Potato Corner when you're still in Korea and NOW you're ravishing it all with all the childhood memories. Now you can eat your favorite flavors anytime. I too luv Chili BBQ Flavor and of course with Coke Zero. Ingat lagi !!!

Hi jessica, i discovered you a week ago. and Ive finally reached your latest video. I started from your first vlog to know where you started. And i must say i'm a huge fan now. Hoping you can notice me and possibly get a shoutout from youu. God bless and keep safe!! Mahal ka namin
I really really love the vibes of your Philippine vlogs. This makes me wanna try Potato Corner too.
You have to try My.Girl Milk Tea. There are a few branches in Manila. Their drinks are the right amount of sweetness and they use skim milk and honey then the boba pearls are made of sweet potato starch.
Damn Eli she is so beautiful
Ely plays the Cello? Best string instrument for me. I think I'm in 💕. And Jess playing the piano, great jam session guys. I'm in 💕 again
I love it when she showed the 200 peso paper bill twice in this video, both when she was about to pay for the petrol and the second one was for the potato corner and milk tea. Cute lang,..
I remembered the movie If I Stay when Ely played the cello.
Philippine borders are now open for tourist as long as fully vaccinated. Maybe sylvia and possibly moy can now join you there😁❤️

Alam mo. Kahit koreana ka sa pangalan at pagmumukha mo, asal Pinoy kana pati pagkain tsaka mannerisms mo. Grabe ka Idol Jessica! You appreciate, elevate and celebrate your love for the culture and attributes of being a Filipino with these vlogs. You don't use your channel as clickbait for Pinoys. Your channel is pure, sincere and highly recommended for aspiring foreigners who wants to visit and stay here in The Philippines. Kudos to you and keep going! AJA!
