Did a little research on the flight, and here's the explanation: - To fly to Caticlan, you can only carry an exact amount of fuel. Anything less, you can't make it, anything more, you are too heavy to land, and you will overshoot the runway. - Because of the high demand for plane rides to Caticlan, more airlines had made more flights going there. This means a lot of unexpected traffic--you will need to wait for your turn. - As a safety protocol, the flight was diverted to the nearest airport to refuel. This happens often, even in Japan and Korea. - Logistically and financially speaking, it costs more time and money to send that plane from Kalibo to Caticlan, and it's not good environmental practice for the industry, that's why the airline opted to transport the passengers via bus instead. The weather also posts another diversion, so it was a good call by the company. I hope this bit of info helps fuel the optimism for Jess and her followers! :)
Correct, Im a native of Caticlan and I know how tricky to land there when windy so I always prefer landing in Kalibo. Better travel few hours more than never land alive at all

It's sad to hear so many issues on your travel to Boracay and yet you stayed so calm. Also, just to share Filipinos are as calm because their mindset is on the vacation. We don't want to ruin our vacation from the very start so we have to be very patient and calm since we can't go to Boracay often due to financial reasons and work/time. We just went to Boracay last week and we had a very smooth flight. The flight to Boracay from Manila is just under an hour and its longer than waiting from the Airport. I loved that you were all very optimistic and still enjoyed your stay even when its raining. I love your vlogs btw. :)
This video brought back memories of a trip to Boracay with my family (during Christmas and New Years). Same kind of flight delays, then a long bus ride followed by a boat ride to our final destination. We even had similar weather as you, overcast but it didn’t rain so much. Once we were settled in our hotel, it was paradise for the rest of the week. One of the places I would actually want to live the rest of my life. 🥰

That's why I, a 73 years old Filipino loves watching Jessica's vlogs. Her equanimity despite all those snags and disappointments is truly admirable. No wonder, she's got almost a million subscribers. Filipinos love her.
😁 I really enjoyed this episode! Even though the weather is not fine, this pretty girls enjoy a lot and they never mind that bad weather. 😄 I love LIA's joke that "PARA-PARA SAILING!" I also love that part that they are bickering especially to LIA that shows how really close they are! I love the chemistry of this trio! I had a comment before on your previous vlog together with LIA and ELLE that I want to see both of you together here in Philippines because you really want to comeback to PHILIPPINES that time when you're in Korea. 😄 Looking forward for the next episode trip in Boracay #2

What do they speak in Roxas? My grandma is bisaya and was from Capiz. Is there a huge difference in the dialects on that island? it sounded the same to me when we were there.
@@Moss_piglets Capiz has their own version of Hiligaynon. But not too different from the mainstream Hiligaynon. However, some towns speak Kinaray-a and towns bordering Aklan and Capiz speak in a mix of Inakeanon and Capiznon. Antique is largely Kinaray-a. Even workers in Aklan who hail from other provinces cannot speak Inakeanon and still have trouble understanding the language. In addition, Inakeanon has its own roster of dialects, too. My highschool classmate who was from Malay who spoke their own version of Aklanon spoke in Filipino with us since she was not familiar with standard Inakeanon. This was my experience as an Aklanon exposed to natives from Iloilo, Capiz, and Antique.
Is it only me who thinks that we deserve and explanation regarding the issue between jessylmoy? like we already gave them more or less a month of privacy and for them to sort things out. We don't really need a detailed one, they can just clarify things for us who supported them from the very beginning. For better or worse, still a supporter here.. :D
It was fun watching you guys! The weather is really unpredictable having these rain and typhoon as early as April. Climate Change is no joke! Anyway, hope you can come back to Bora next time with a good weather!
Lesson learned from jessica : *Jess:* "How i can stay calm is i look at other people as well so it's like how calm they are it's like ok i should be calm too.I shouln't be OA" ❤💓❤ Kalma lang wag magalit
True. At times of adversity (or facing unfortunate situations like a bad weather), it always require some calmness so that you won't be affected much or one can adjust your mood. Like in your case, with your girlfriends, it's the company that counts and you make it fun. 🤗❤️🏝️🏖️😎
Love how optimistic these three are. Really such Troopers! LIa's Jollibee Bag though. So adorable. Well basically, she's really adorable. Haha! A big ❤ for Lia(without H). 🥰
You should try going back again next time the weather is clear, you should try going to Puka beach it's less crowded and I think you'll like it there since the water is clearer than the main station beach, I hope you enjoyed your stay tho. ( I'm from Aklan so I'm actually happy you visited our province.) Big fan!
It happened to us too, we were supposed to go back to Manila but then we werent permitted to leave the island becuase of bad weather, we ended up extending our vacation 3 more days. The good thing was, we did not let ourselves get depressed because of it. We cannot rebook our hotel cause there were no vacant rooms left, so we need to act fast or else we wont be getting any rooms for the next days, haha we ended up renting an apartment haha! That was so wild haha! Fortunately the airline cancelled our flight so got options to refund our fare or rebook, we chose to rebook, but the flight was diverted to Kalibo haha - it was a literal adventure, and the worst thing for someone who would always choose convenience over anything else haha. But those are good memories though
Loved your video, (second time watching, first time was right before this one😅) well I suggest next time if u plan to go back to Bora u should take the earliest flights in the morning (6-8am) haven't experienced being delayed, the only times our flights kept being delayed is around 10am onwards (my trip with my friends ) and as for the waiting for your boat ur actually lucky u gets to wait in a place wer there's not much of people (Hate waiting too esp when there are lots of people around 😅).
I'm glad you visited boracay, that's pretty near my province. My grandmother is from Aklan while my Grandfather is from Marinduque. So, everytime we go to our province, we always go to Boracay. It's one of the majestic wonder of the Philippines.
You should have check the weather 😂 this is during a typhoon haha, atleast you guys are safe. Most of the provinces in aklan and iloilo got flooded really bad. Stay safe
I really enjoyed watching this video. I am at work and i thought of watching a video in youtube and gladly i watched yours. I kept smiling here but damn that weather really sucks! But i think overall you all enjoyed Boracay. How i wish it was a hot and a sunny day.
GLAD YOU ENJOYED KAHIT MAY TYPHOON!! 🤣 it's so fun seeing you guys get SO happy with sunshine, breakfast, taho, isaw... basically the whole bora trip 🤩
it's sad that you guys experienced bad weather during your trip but we can't do much about it because it's mother nature,, all you can do now is to make the most out of it, maybe next time you go there again there will be a good weather . .
From Negros to Aklan on the road, we spent almost 12 hours because we have to stop by at some resto/mall and it's tiring😭. We arrived at our destination at the afternoon, we have to walk a lot because it's on the hill side and cars can't go there. Our room was on the side of the cliff too😭, we descended from the parking lot (top of the hill) to the beach WITH ALL OF OUR BAGS then did some more walking on the beachfront, went to the dining/eating area to get welcoming drinks. Went up the side of the cliff to our rooms (trust me it was a lot of stairs and the stairs were steep too) and we ate with our packed food and slept until the next day 😭. It was exhausting but it was rlly fun.
When did you arrive at Boracay Jessica? We were there until April 3 before the storm strike, sayang I didn't get to meet you :((( Happy that you enjoyed Bora despite unforeseen circumstances!
Jessica & Lia: "Idk if it's because we're Korean, but we can recognize a Korean just by looking at the person's back. It's the fashion and the makeup." * Few minutes later, you see Jessica & friends asking for tawad for the activities. * Me: "Idk if it's because we're Filipinos, but we can recognize a Filipino if you hear them ask for tawad when paying for things." Hahahahahaha Yes, Jessica, you all have become Filipino by heart! Hahahahaha welcome to the Mahilig Tumawad Fold!
I admire Lia for successfully pulling off the Jollibee style huhu. Wanted to have one. Also wanted to experience a Jollibee birthday party hahaha. I should try that before my 20's end.
I feel you jessica.. i easily get stressed when i plan and expect to be syncronize on time. But after thinking for a while. Then im good. Sadly the rain is a bommer.. Its fun to do all the activites that your intrest in or wanting to have experience ... its like SULIT..
Hi Jessica! Really admire your simplicity and being so patient, too bad it was not a perfect vacation for all of you, but I guess what matters most is your safety. Maybe checking the weather forecast might have helped. Stay humble and thank you for being nice to my beloved Filipino there in the Philippines 😊 🇨🇦
I love all you ladies reminds me of all the good times I had in Korea when I was in the military everyone was so nice to me great video stay safe in all your travels ❤ ❤ ❤
You guys shouldve tried paddling! Its a very fun activity there where you get a paddle and a surf board like thing, then you stand/sit on it and paddle, its very fun and highly reccomend the next time you go there!
Nakakaaliw kayo Jessica. Im glad you're all happy. You & your friends showed a Pinoy Spirit. Still happy even in difficult time . Beautiful Korean Ladies. GOD bless & Mabuhay!❤❤❤
that's a cool jollibee purse! UFO sandwich is like the popular Flying Saucer sandwiches of Aristocrat's, with fillings like Adobo, etc. It's been on their menu for ages. i enjoyed this vlog! good vibes pa din. You can always come back to Bora, summer is long!
I just went to boracay last march, glad it only drizzled one night and one afternoon during our stay. But back in 2012 there was a typhoon on our travel dates and station 2 was already flooded when we arrived and to make it worse, cebu pacific only delivered our luggages on day 2 at noon due to overloading.
16:07 AHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!! Goo Jun Pyo!!!!!! My mom goes crazy for him lol, like even if we're not watching Boys over flowers, she still brings him up, like GOO JUN PYOOOO!!!! 😂😂😂 Also this vlog was so fun!!! I love seeing you 3 hanging out, it's always a nice vibe!❤
uhh, i don”t get overnight bookings anymore, specially when travelling by plane. it’s tiring and “anything “ can happen. it is also to maximize the place i’m going to. an overnighter isnt satisfying at all. i most of the time get “3D 2N”…..AND everytime i go to places like beaches and islands, ALWAYS bring a Dry Bag to waterproof everything and a GoPro camera to take videos when its raining and for water/underwater activities. I also always bring a Rash Guard for sunburn, no need to use suntan lotion or sun screen on the arms and body…
Truly unpredictable weather this time of year, seeing you all enjoying being with each other in unfamiliar situation, brings me to my Highschool days with my friends, this moment will be remembered as part of your joyful memories❤️
Hello, I just wanna tell you something, a tip maybe. If you want to go to Boracay in a sunny day, you should check news from weather channels like weather segments in Filipino or international news channels. So that you'll know the weather in the upcoming days when you'll visit the island. If the next days are perfectly sunny, grab the opportunity like book a trip, flight, and room in a resort to Boracay asap. Preparations and timing is what you need. Ps. I live in the mainland of Malay, Aklan, hometown of Boracay Island. We Filipinos, most of us, watch news channels particularly their weather segments to check upcoming weather if it'll be sunny and hot, rainy, storm, and/or typhoons to prepare plans for the day after.
Ate Jessica, you look happy tho! This kind of malas happens to me almost every day and I still get mad HAHAHAHAHAHA Also, you know someone really is Filipino by heart and nature kapag tumatawad. hindi lang siguro ako convincing enough. ako na walang talent sa pagtawad: 🙂
Your experience in Bora is very Filipino..I love your optimism..being positive always.,still smilling,.there maybe struggle, hindrance, unexfected situation..but you just keep moving on..Stay safe..thumbs up..😀😀😀
I enjoy watching your vlog every day Jessica its very informative and interesting and fun to watch. Hope you make more vlog like this .i'm planning to have vacation. I will put this in my wish list. 😊💕 keep it up .more succes to vlog.
How sad is that, i hope you three could go back there again next time and hopefully it will not rain so you could really indulge the beauty of Boracay :)
Seeing them wet and it is rainy. It reminds me of my childhood memories where my friends and I will be playing tag in the rain and after that we will buy street foods. Looking at them is like looking at three filipino friends who are just enjoying the moment.
I don't know if you thought of it but parasailing in bad weather is dangerous. Lightning may strike the parasail! Especially the wet conditions before the storm will make sure the parasail is conductive!
Even if its disastrous, its actually worth it, it felt like you still had genuine fun coz ur with great company. Its all about the journey. Btw, its really fun to watch you
I actually I kind of prefer, cloudy with light rain, I had kind of same experience when I went to Puerto Galera, I hate so much sun heat, even though that's what basically being in a beach is suppose to be like, just for a change, since I experienced going to beach on such a very hot summer a few times before
The best months to go to Boracay are from December to April because the weather is good but if you go there around May , June July up to October it's going to be rainy!
Maski nga may bagyo naliligo parin sa ulan eh haha kahit nag swimming pa sa baha habang nag enjoy ganyan pilipino(ginagawa ko rin dati ala pang apndemic😭)
Hahaaaaaaa when we went to boracay it was soooo stressful because we ate lunch at 1:00 and the flight was like 2:15 or so but we boarded at 3 flew at 4 and arrived at 5ish and there was like a hundred lines that took an hour and basically we got to eat at 9 without "merienda". I was very hangry that day
it also happened to me and my friends. we supposedly go to Calaguas but ended up in Daet 'coz of the typhoon. but we're still happy and got more closer so our barkada name is Daet hehe
Dear Jessica, What happened between you and Sylvia? Your audience deserves to know. Tell us what happened because most of your Filipino subscribers are expecting a collab between you Sylvia and Moy specially now that they're both here in the Philippines. You don't need to tell it in details. You can pass on the delicate part of it but please give us even just a hint. Are you still friends with them or not anymore?
@@cynthia76may I feel there's something gravely wrong between the three of them. Usually Jessica comment in Sylvia's vlog but now there's none and I read in some comments that they stop following each other in Instagram. I don't care about their personal issues but still their audience deserves to know the real score.
@@vomitingconfetti7187last time I checked jessica unfollowed both of them on IG. I don't know what happened but I hope they will make up. My hypothesis 1 is that jessica wanted to get more subscribers so that's why she friended moy ( she also said it in one of their videos). Now jessica has more subscribers than moy so she doesn't need her anymore. The second hypothesis is that even though it seemed like jessica and sylvia are good friends, there was a reason she moved out of Sylvia's place. Third hypothesis is that she doesn't want to be involved with moy and sylvia because they are too wacky for her and she doesn't that kind of content in her videos. There's no need for them anymore. Anyways that's just my hypothesis. At the end of the day it's none of our business but I do agree us subscribers should get informed since their career is based on sharing their life. As long as all of them are happy and successful then I'm happy. They always keep us entertained during the pandemic.
The last time I saw Jessica Like their IG post was in FEB 14, 2022... Moy and Sylvia's Comments and Likes isn't visible in Jessica's Ig Post... Idk if she block them on IG🤷♂️... Idk if they unfollowed each other but now Moy Followed her again on IG... I don't have a Clue why they don't followed each other on IG and all of them stop commenting on each other SNS post..
Despite the misfortunes, being with friends will make it special and memorable. There's always something to talk to and laugh about after few years plus you got to appreciate little things in this mishaps.

hiligaynon language known as (ilonggo) uses also in iloilo and some part of mindanao but we have a native hiligaynon here in iloilo we called it "kinaray-a" .. actually.. its called ilonggo because maybe it came from iloilo lol 😂 ..
Yeah, usually it's already hot in March, so we consider it the start of summer, but being neighbors with the Pacific Ocean, I guess you just learn to to always expect the unexpected when it comes to weather. And It's so weird because our summers are really REALLY hot, like the burning kind (not the suffocating kind), but at the same time, rain and typhoon just visit even without an appointment like, "Hey, wassup! I came because I wanna join in the summer fun too!"
Experienced the same when we went boracay once with my friends. Sun just showed itself at the last hour of our stay. Like it's saying "goodbye beaches" 🤣

you three have a chemistry.. unique one.. plus the bad weather you created a funny episode.. crazy but fun.
it's *JessELia* this time.
It was fun watching you guys! The weather is really unpredictable having these rain and typhoon as early as April. Climate Change is no joke! Anyway, hope you can come back to Bora next time with a good weather!
Lesson learned from jessica :
*Jess:* "How i can stay calm is i look at other people as well so it's like how calm they are it's like ok i should be calm too.I shouln't be OA"
❤💓❤
Kalma lang wag magalit
i love every videos of yours ate, please keep inspiring and keep doing it!! fighting💗🤍 우리는 당신을 사랑하고 항상 안전합니다 road to 900k subscribers!!!🥳🎉
The TAWAD skills of these girls are so commendable 😂
Wala talagang makakapigil kahit bagyo basta kasama mo mga kaibigan mo sa adventure stay safe lagi idol Jessica 🌹🌹🌹🌹
Lia is beautiful. She should try modeling or acting here in the Philippines
These Korean Girls are better in asking for "TAWAD" prices than me. They're like Filipino moms. LOL 🤣
🤣 it's so fun seeing you guys get SO happy with sunshine, breakfast, taho, isaw... basically the whole bora trip 🤩
the water is so cold even the sun is up, I wonder how cold is it when it's raining and windy. I went there last Feb 2022 and it's sunny.
Everything that could get wrong went wrong 😂 im so sorry for your experience jessica. I hope you still had a fun time
Oh ya,
it's sad that you guys experienced bad weather during your trip but we can't do much about it because it's mother nature,, all you can do now is to make the most out of it, maybe next time you go there again there will be a good weather . .
Hello jessica! Nakaka aliw naman kayong panoorin kahit may typhoon enjoy lang!🤍 stay safe always🤍 and when you speak in tagalog..daebak!👌😎
It's the fashion and the makeup."
* Few minutes later, you see Jessica & friends asking for tawad for the activities. *
Me: "Idk if it's because we're Filipinos, but we can recognize a Filipino if you hear them ask for tawad when paying for things." Hahahahahaha Yes, Jessica, you all have become Filipino by heart! Hahahahaha welcome to the Mahilig Tumawad Fold!
I admire Lia for successfully pulling off the Jollibee style huhu. Wanted to have one. Also wanted to experience a Jollibee birthday party hahaha. I should try that before my 20's end.
Oh ya,
I feel you jessica.. i easily get stressed when i plan and expect to be syncronize on time.
But after thinking for a while. Then im good. Sadly the rain is a bommer..
Its fun to do all the activites that your intrest in or wanting to have experience ... its like SULIT..
your friends are too cool, anything goes kahit umuulan game paren 😂
Naawa ako na natatawa… yung alam mong buset sila sa dami ng kamalasan pero pinipikit niya talgang maging positive. Jessica is awesome. 🥰
I love all you ladies reminds me of all the good times I had in Korea when I was in the military everyone was so nice to me great video stay safe in all your travels ❤ ❤ ❤
Koreans enjoying taho and isaw in Boracay 😂❤️ Glad you still enjoyed even though the weather was bad! Ingat kayo palagi! ❤️
You guys shouldve tried paddling! Its a very fun activity there where you get a paddle and a surf board like thing, then you stand/sit on it and paddle, its very fun and highly reccomend the next time you go there!
I hope lia will have her own youtube channel. Very funny and very beautiful as always
They way you handle the situation youre in and make most out of everything is admirable
Its good that you were safe in Boracay at that time when there was a typhoon
uhh, i don”t get overnight bookings anymore, specially when travelling by plane. it’s tiring and “anything “ can happen. it is also to maximize the place i’m going to. an overnighter isnt satisfying at all. i most of the time get “3D 2N”…..AND everytime i go to places like beaches and islands, ALWAYS bring a Dry Bag to waterproof everything and a GoPro camera to take videos when its raining and for water/underwater activities. I also always bring a Rash Guard for sunburn, no need to use suntan lotion or sun screen on the arms and body…
0:56 Dude at the back stares at Jollibee way too much lol
Truly unpredictable weather this time of year, seeing you all enjoying being with each other in unfamiliar situation, brings me to my Highschool days with my friends, this moment will be remembered as part of your joyful memories❤️
I applaud you guys for just going with the flow. Unexpected things happen all the time and weather is not really under our control.
Your experience in Bora is very Filipino..I love your optimism..being positive always.,still smilling,.there maybe struggle, hindrance, unexfected situation..but you just keep moving on..Stay safe..thumbs up..😀😀😀
i really love the optimism throughout this trip. Glad you girls still had fun after all
I’m enjoying this Bora hideaway guys you’re so funny …. Still you’re pretty walking in the rain.. ha ha ha. Keep safe….Watching from Chicago…
I’m such a big fan! Hope I get to meet you in the Philippines one day ❤️
I enjoy watching your vlog every day Jessica its very informative and interesting and fun to watch. Hope you make more vlog like this .i'm planning to have vacation. I will put this in my wish list. 😊💕 keep it up .more succes to vlog.
It’s fun watching you guys having your tour in the beautiful islands of the Philippines. 😘😘😘
How sad is that, i hope you three could go back there again next time and hopefully it will not rain so you could really indulge the beauty of Boracay :)
Lia, asking why she looks Korean is the first highlight of this vlog 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lia and Ely should do vlogging too, they are so energetic and cute in the camera!! Love u Jessica!!
Ely is not that talkative, is she shy? Haha looking forward for more jessica vids with Lia and Ely! 💛💛💛
Seeing them wet and it is rainy. It reminds me of my childhood memories where my friends and I will be playing tag in the rain and after that we will buy street foods. Looking at them is like looking at three filipino friends who are just enjoying the moment.
Just enjoy your short trip together with you're friends ❤😊❤
Always keep safe ❤😊
Kung manligaw ako sayo galing highlander mapapansin mo ba lodi??.😁😁✌️
I don't know if you thought of it but parasailing in bad weather is dangerous. Lightning may strike the parasail!
Especially the wet conditions before the storm will make sure the parasail is conductive!
So funny how Lia asked do they look Korean HAHAHA
Even if its disastrous, its actually worth it, it felt like you still had genuine fun coz ur with great company. Its all about the journey. Btw, its really fun to watch you
Your whole journey to Bora with optimism despite the obstacles made me watch the entire video with a smile.
I actually I kind of prefer, cloudy with light rain, I had kind of same experience when I went to Puerto Galera, I hate so much sun heat, even though that's what basically being in a beach is suppose to be like, just for a change, since I experienced going to beach on such a very hot summer a few times before
Its always fun watching your vlogs Jessica ❤️🇵🇭
The best months to go to Boracay are from December to April because the weather is good but if you go there around May , June July up to October it's going to be rainy!
4:54 Lia is naturally funny lol
Lia's (without H) OTD Jabee bag. So Cute!!! 😭😍
Big fan of Jessica never fails to have an interesting vlog.
Even if there's a typhoon, we are still smiling and happy. You are a Filipino at heart ate Jessica 🤍
"Pinoy tayo, bagyo lang"
Maski nga may bagyo naliligo parin sa ulan eh haha kahit nag swimming pa sa baha habang nag enjoy ganyan pilipino(ginagawa ko rin dati ala pang apndemic😭)
WOW LIA IS SO DAMNNNNNN BEAUTIFUL ANGEL IN EARTH STILL EXIST 🇰🇷❤️🇵🇭
Thank you for bringing us our needed daily dose of Lia 💚
Exactly!! Jollibee bag is just a LIMITED EDITION. I hate it!! hahahaa
Jollibee bag stole the show. Limited Edition. Lia is so funny.
I was very hangry that day
You went there when there are 3 weather systems affecting the Philippines. 1 LPA somewhere in Palawan and 2 storms Agaton and Malakas.
it also happened to me and my friends. we supposedly go to Calaguas but ended up in Daet 'coz of the typhoon. but we're still happy and got more closer so our barkada name is Daet hehe
Are you still friends with them or not anymore?
im also wondering, since sylvia and moy is in the philippines now ,wish they meet up for a collab, its a blast when the 3 of them are together 😔
Also wondering the same... 🤔
Katanggal stress si Lia 😭❤❤
omg! i really have a crush on lia right now ❤ watching jessicas vlog while eating breakfast and i choose the one with lia in there. sooooo beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤ hope she vlogs too
Ate Lia's bag BAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA jollibeee😭😭
wow surely they enjoy boracay there are more beautiful beach in the philippines hope jessica snd her friends will venture to other beautiful beaches like coron Ananpulo enjoy more jessica and friends
hiligaynon language known as (ilonggo) uses also in iloilo and some part of mindanao but we have a native hiligaynon here in iloilo we called it "kinaray-a" .. actually.. its called ilonggo because maybe it came from iloilo lol 😂 ..
We went to Boracay a few days ago, and spent 2 days of our stay staying in our hotel due to the rain too. :( glad you enjoyed your stay in Boraa!!
Experienced the same when we went boracay once with my friends. Sun just showed itself at the last hour of our stay. Like it's saying "goodbye beaches" 🤣
