@@isaiahyinko7182 not just dark knight trilogy, but 90's batman movies and both Batman animated series as well 90's and 2004. i had the movies on repeat😁
Personally I really like this film. It was willing to walk the line between being a kids film and being made for an older audience. For example, the scene with the vampire joker in the blood bank is done in a way that it can avoid censorship but you still get the effect. It’s terrifying, disgusting, creepy, and just with Joker would do if he became a vampire. Also I think this film, like most of the series, does the “Batman can beat anyone” cliché right. When Batman comes across an enemy he’s not familiar with he’ll usually end up getting his butt kicked. It reminds us that he’s human. But then he researches the threat and plans out a way to defeat the enemy and then does. To me, beat your enemies by out thinking them is what Batman is all about. And if that means Batman has to suffer a loss every now and again, so be it. It’ll just make him look that much cooler when he does defeat them!
What shocked me the most about this movie is the scene at the Blood Bank with the Joker drinking LITERAL blood! Usually the censors at WB would say no to this but they kept that in. Maybe it's because it was a Straight-to-DVD movie so they were less restrictive on it, but still, it's very unsettling seeing a animated character drinking blood.
Thanks for bringing attention to The Batman and specifically this movie, this incarnation really rules imo. Also, the use of the John Cena theme was fucking perfect, it made me laugh out loud each time
Loved this. Loved the series, and this movie was fantastic. I loved how dark they actually went with it. I was surprised by the Joker scene, but boy was it good. Great video.
Lord Dracula should’ve been the true final boss in Batman: Arkham Knight game. They both roam the night, they both scare people, but one is superhuman, one isn’t. One is evil, one isn’t. One is immortal, one isn't. I really hope they will make another new Batman VS Dracula movie or series in an animated form similar to Netflix version of Castlevania. Seriously, Batman VS Dracula really much deserved to get more recognition.
Wow, I was interested in series after your last video, and I had seen view scenes from the movie, but this video, this just maked my HUNGRY, HUNGRY FOR MORE THE BATMAN...🦇
Actually alot of people talk about it; maybe not as much as mask of the phantasm, but it was a story that BTAS wanted to do but censors prevented it. This even happend to Spider-man's Morbius for the animated series- where you couldn't show blood sucking, and couldn't say blood. You had to say ' Plasma'!
I remember owning the VHS of this and watching this like almost everyday. One of my favourites with one of the most Iconic moments when he does the pose at the end of the movie when defeating Dracula.
I remember watching this movie hundreds of times when I was a kid and loving it. Finally someone talks about it. P.S.: I remember being "not able to sleep" scared of the vampire joker. No reason why, but "the joker but vampire" is a concept that broke kid me.

Bro holy shit could you imagine an Interstellar Ranger Commence panel at SDCC? That sounds so crazy I almost teared up lmao, thank you for picking my question, had bad wording but at the end you kind of got what I was aiming for lol
Yeah Id cry bro lmao
3:50 "Remember this dude? Forget him. Well technically, he didn't die... but then he dies again BABY!" LMAO!!!
I love the "You are Bruce Wayne" quote right before Drac dies
Who is the most powerful mythological creature in history?
Me: batman
It gets me mad how underrated this movie (and series) is, it deserves better, especially because of that mind-blowing animation like this 4:49 or this 6:41
Even when I was little, “I shall sweep that in the dust bin right away” was the most memorable line of the entire film.
Was this your first barman film you saw in 2005?
Dracula actually scared me when I was younger. Honestly, The Batman was one of my favorite shows. It gave me one of my favorite looks for Killer Croc
@@gatorkid3653 Was this your first batman film you saw in 2005?
7:12 Alfred using a syringe bolt on a crossbow is what I’ve wanted to do in DND next time I play it. Just imagine healing your bro with health potion bolts, killing werewolves with silver powder/poison mixed bolts or frying some poor beast with alchemist’s fire bolts 😂
I love that this version Batman really knows how to fight hand to hand. Some Batman versions mostly rely on his tech/devices to win however this version relies more on his combat skills which makes me compare him to the Batman vs TMNT in terms of hand to hand combat skill. The villains on this show can also somewhat face him hand to hand and relies less on their goons to fight him unlike other version of those villains.
This movie got away with a LOT of adult stuff for kids.
Namely, actually showing blood in the film!
We're lucky the backwards-minded censors didn't make them have "Alucard" drink "red rum" instead!
The Batman has one of the best animated Joker's I think I've ever seen, I mean his hair is literally shaped like a jesters hat
I haven't even watched this yet, but I have to thank you for this. First it was Spectacular Spider-Man, now The Batman, you're the first person I've ever heard talk nicely about The Batman and its exactly the nostalgia infused positivity I need right now. Thank you for what you do :)
Here I am still waiting for a Batman vs Predator movie.
What about Batman v terminator?
and here I am waiting for a Justice League/Transformers crossover comic. (They planned to publish it until the new 52 shelved the plan for the comic crossover to happen. I wanted the batmobile and wonder woman's invisible plane to be Autobots in disguise so bad)
There is a batman vs predator comic
Hmmm, hopefully they can do that or hell superman vs predator thatll be awesome
But then he dies again baby!
(John Cena theme blairs)
Bro, this shit had me dying great vid!
Okay, thank God. This movie kicked ass, it was a perfect movie for childhood me. Character design was awesome, gothic, creepy, score were great, action was great. I just love it for the vibe, it screams nostaglia. The title sequel with the wonderful classic tune...my God
I remember watching this with a babysitter when I was a child and was terrified. I tried rewatching it again when I was 12 and was still uncomfortable. I just fully watched it for the first time. I’m glad someone is talking about it
This whole “The Batman” series is overlooked tbh
3:52 “but the he died again, baby” holy shit that’s funny 💀
Man the SWAT team get taken 1 by 1 and that upside down Dracula at the end scared the shit out of me as a kid. Literally check every dark corner I encounter to see if Drac is there or not lol.
7:27 ....Thank god you said blood!
I actually had edited it so there was like a one second pause before 'blood', but then I was like "Nah"
Batman mourning the death of one of his rogues is _incredibly_ in-character.
Oh I still have the DVD of BvD! I used to watch this movie lot as a kid.... Love this movie, my childhood Batman!
Did you grow up with the Dark Knight trilogy back in 2005-2012?
@@isaiahyinko7182 not just dark knight trilogy, but 90's batman movies and both Batman animated series as well 90's and 2004. i had the movies on repeat😁
@@bisheshshakya9417 Nice. How old were you when the Trilogy came out?
@@isaiahyinko7182 i saw it in 2009 onwards i was like 7 years at the time! Since then i became batman fan
Listening to this guy is enough to put you off watching this movie ever again.
This show was so underrated
Bro, this was me and my brother’s favorite animated movie. We watched this so many times.
Same with me and my brother lmao
The bloodbank scene with joker and the entire climax fight were just absolutely amazing
This was one of my favorite movies as a kid, I totally forgot it until you made your previous video
Also, the use of the John Cena theme was fucking perfect, it made me laugh out loud each time
I'm so happy to finally see someone talking about this movie!!
I did not see that add coming. Awesome transition 👏
I appreciate how you acknowledge this hidden gem of a movie & show
Hell yeah dude, this movie is incredibly underrated
The opening titles of the movie gives vibes this is actually a horror movie
Really the whole swat team scene reminded you of just year one cuz something similar happens in mask of the phantasm
Bruh when Batman said: “I’m the Batman....And You’re Dust.” I really felt that ✊🏾
Wow, I was interested in series after your last video, and I had seen view scenes from the movie, but this video, this just maked my HUNGRY, HUNGRY FOR MORE THE BATMAN...🦇
Fun fact: In the same year this movie came out, Peter Stormare portrays Satan in another DC property film, Constantine.
I remember this movie actually scaring me a bit as a kid when it premiered on TV
Watching this film on Cartoon Network with how dark and how much blood it had felt pretty dang jarring.
The one advert I actually really liked. It was information about a book, that had relevance. Respect that brother
@@zoroack792 Was this your first batman film you saw in 2005?
I own this on disc, 10/10 favorite movie, with The Batman being one of my favorite shows of all time
Dracula was a total savage in this.
This movie gave me nightmares for years but holy shit man its good to see this again
This movie was the shit
Sorry your name is “SIAH the swords men” not “this movie
Dracula: You're Bruce Wayne.
Batman: And The Batman. And you're dust.
Really and truly the only time I've seen Batman kill someone. Then again Dracula was never human.
Can u review the Spider-Man 2000s trilogy please?
Sure, at some point!
@@Browntable Can't wait!
Peter Parker I saw you from channel pup
What not even going to mention the scene where Batman goes to Draculas hive and just goes to town i love that scene
The one Batman show and movies I would never get tired of. This Joker scared the hell out of me as a kid compared to the other normal looking ones
Man does this bring me back
Batman Vs Dracula as a concept could work as a live action movie in the style of The Crow/ Blade/Manhunter.
Finally a channel doing this movie Justice 🙏

I legit just bought this the other week, love watching that film since I was a kid👏🏼
How did I love this show and never heard about this movie!?
Did you grow up with The Dark Knight Trilogy back in 2005-2012? How old were you when the Trilogy came out?
Yes! Thank you for shining light to this movie. It was absolutely my favorite Batman animated movie back in the day. I watched it so many times I lost count I genuinely is very nostalgic to watch you talk about this movie
This was one of my favourite movies to watch as a kid, in fact I still have it on DVD. I always found it odd that I didn't really see anyone talk about this movie until now. Thank you for making a video about Batman vs Dracula I really enjoyed it.
Was this your first batman film you saw?
6:40 SOOO EPIC!
Ive been waiting for this video for years. I figured the main reason no one talked about this movie is cause the audience was too young and is just now gaining the ability to talk about the film as adults now. Ive wanted to rewatch this movie for such a long time and youve given me such a great reason
This used to be well still is one of my favorite Batman movies to watch of all times. I even still have the disk to it to this day
