Hope you like this free video with some in-depth examples of how I apply these grids (or even create logos from these grids directly). Apologies for the slight bad video quality, the next video will be a lot better and HQ. :)
Hi Jeroen 😊, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the opportunity to watch your RUclips channel. The experience and knowledge you've shared, especially about logo grids, are incredibly helpful for designers out there as a precise guide for creating design works, particularly logos. I hope you continue to stay passionate about sharing this valuable knowledge and experience. Thank you again, and best of luck!🎉🎉
Yeah, sorry about that. Been so busy working on client projects and couldn't find any space between my projects OR in my own head for good content ideas. Hope this year I can make more videos and engage more with other designers here too. Cheers!
Beautiful work, man. Love seeing your process. I was stuck and this grid idea helped me finally get something I'm happy with. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
Very excited to hear about your positive response! When i have my office renovated, I’ll be focusing on more content for RUclips for sure. Always loved filming my process and share some of my logo design tips.
Amazing logos but i am still confused i still can't understand how to make logos with grids just want to know os there any your course available where i can find a to z guide about grid logos how it made and how it works ?
Hello. sorry for my late reply - I am not super active here lately. Truth is, you need to learn the basics of illustrator about making and using grids. Then you can tweak and adjust these grids to help you 'guide' to perfect balance your logo outcome.
Hello, yes, grids are only for technical guidance. I use grids to finetune my designs. It shouldn’t start from a grid, unless you want to make something super technical or abstract. I sometimes start with a grid as well. So basically, there are more ways to look at this.
I usually create a logo in a random grid first. Once happy, I rebuild the design (if needed) in a more minimal and logical grid size. All to help minimize the design and simplify corners and details.
Tell me what I got wrong. You designed logo according to document grid not logo grid. In other videos they make logo grid and join shapes with shape builder tool. Here you made logo and then you draw logo grid around it. Isn't that reverse process? Great logos but I would like an answer from you or anyone that is familiar with logo designing. I'm trying to learn about this. Would appreciate help.
I mix up the approach on this actually. As it also depends on the logo you have envisioned to create. Some use the shape builder tool and some don’t (I don’t). It’s a matter of experiences and preference to make these grids. Sometimes I start a logo from a grid, and sometimes I create grids once a design is made. For technical guidance.
Hi, could you make a modern monogram with the letters M and L, for my wife who is a seamstress, and is trying to help me financially, doing some sewing? If you can, it will help me a lot. We cannot pay for this service. Thank you and sorry for making this request.

I have the same question.
