I just took delivery of this exact 2021 RS, 3LT, wild cherry red tint coat convertible Except i ordered the black interior. The mustang convertible doesn’t compare. The mustang top is exposed when down. You see the arms and it collects leaves. Mustang doesn’t drive like a sports car. As you stated , the camaro is a true American sports car . Sports cars don’t have much storage . The new red has the wow factor . The 6 is smooth and powerful . I hope 2023 is not the last year. Excellent review .
@@costanjgm has never said they are discontinuing the camaro. But gm hasn't confirmed when the next gen camaro will come out. They said this gen'S last year will be 2023. Rumors are that a new electric camaro will come out in 2025. Gm may stop production after 2023 until the electric comes out, or extend this gen thru 2025. But gm hasn't confirmed any of the rumors.
Congrats on your purchase!! I have a 2019 RS 1LT Coupe. Love it!! A lot of people underestimate the V6. It has plenty of power of everyday driving and you can still have a lot of fun with it as well!
@@scottdavis_34 Scott, i also have a 2019 camaro convertible RS in steel, gray and loved it so much I bought the 2021 in red. There is really no difference between the 2019 and 2021. I test drove the 8 cylinder engines and found the 6 to be smoother and had more pep, the car is lighter and of course better gas mileage. You have a wonderful car and I am sure you enjoy it as much as I do.
Nice information for the most part in this video. I'd suggest toning down the volume and droning of the B Roll music. Everyone does it but it's annoying.
Every convertible made after 2016 should have heated and cooled seats... Why Mazda didn't add Cooled Seats in the MX5 is beyond me especially with the prices they are charging.
@@carbuzzcom “If you care”? Why wouldn’t the viewers care about an interior? It’s an integral part of every automotive review and, obviously where one spends all their time when driving.
Well have you sat inside a premium GT with the digital speedometer? Simple things like less hard plastic and a screen that is not tacked on and angled downward make the Mustang interior feel like a luxury car next to a Camaro.
@@cemsengul16 I didn’t just sit in a GT, owned a newer gen GT. I’ve since sold it. Aside from the body gaps that I was willing to over look, the fit and finish inside was other blemish on an otherwise good car.
@@artagain8977 So you owned one with a fully loaded interior? You didn't cringe sitting inside a Camaro after experiencing the Mustang interior that was comparable to an Audi.
So, I get the impression you are not fond of the interior … all I can say is, 1. On a hot day with the roof back you will be greatfull the cool air is coming at you low so it doesn’t just go straight out with the wind draft. 2) the charging port for the back is convenient for the passengers and it’s nice to not have everyone’s cords going over your shifter to reach the passenger either front or back. 3) the smaller cup holder side holds my energy drink perfectly. 4. As drinks holders for the back passengers and atorage cubbies and such? They are there for a ride, not to move in. It’s as well anyway…passengers in the back aren’t allowed food or drink. They have less things to hold onto in the back seat for stability so they sure don’t need to ride thru the curves and acceleration with a bag of fries and a slurpy in the back. As far as foot room in the back? If they want footroom then they can go buy their own Camaro. I keep my rear seating bench layed down to optimize the huge truck and back area. Amazing what all you can fit back there when you take out the divider. I’ve hauled 8 foot 2” X 8” boards in my Camaro. Once a half circle ottoman (that took a moment to maneuver). But that’s okay , there’s not much I appreciate about a mustang or dodge either , so all is fair. At least you acknowledge how fun it is to drive.
Currently have one as a rental on vacation. Lots to love, and even more to hate. Back seat, no, it holds too. Visibility is about as good as a Sherman tank, and that's with the top down. All three mirrors are worthless. Need blind spot warning standard! I'd buy a Mazda MX5. Ride and quietness was surprisingly good. Exhaust note was terrible on the four. Turbo lag was also terrible.I think the roof is an expensive problem waiting to break. I would rather have the simpler Mustang roof.
Because the plastic dash will crack, that's the only complaint I have with Chevy vehicles is the plastic dash, we own 4 and all look great with the exception of the cracks in the plastic dash, and I have no idea why they crack two have been garage kept and they still cracked, I was hoping they'd have a recall because if the air bag was ever deployed there would be shards of plastic blow everywhere but they haven't yet,
To counter your opinions: A Mustang convertible is a much more practical convertible than a Camaro convertible and has none of the deficiencies that you mention. To unlatch or latch the top takes about 2 seconds, big deal and far less to break than the Camaro system. Visibility in the Mustang is way better than the Camaro, top up or down. Sure, the Camaro is a nice sports car and I think the V6 is a great NA engine, but if you want a convertible you can live with and use top up or down, the Mustang is the better choice. Too bad you can't buy a new 1967-68 Camaro, that was the perfect Camaro, coupe or convertible.
For mustang to be making 2021 models they lack interior up to date features. I mean where’s the technology in it ? the buttons look like their from the early 90’s. The exterior looks amazing for the mustang. It’s the same thing for the charger and challenger they all lack futuristic interior features. Yeah the Camaro has its flaws but at least their trying to keep up with the times. Lol

Great review!
THANKS GREAT REVIEW
Actually liked it
Is soft top better than hard?

El Camaro SS convertible, es sensacional,😄🤣😍🤩💕💕😊😊, me encanta , deseo tener uno
“Luxurious interiors in the Mustang”?? What Mustang has this reviewer been driving?
It's not "luxurious" but feels more premium than Camaro, if you care about the interior.

Why would the dashboard be leather? Is it a Cadillac? Is it a Lexus? This guy probably drives a Subaru or a honda 🙄

This is a really ugly looking car. Definitely not comparable to any of the German cars.
Exactly. The Mustang is very comparable to a German coupe on the other hand. Look at the interior with a digital speedometer.
What German cars are in its class???
No no no, it's much more cooler, believe me (I m from Germany)
2024 is the last year fyi
