Hi Matt and Andrea! I agree with you on lathe dislikes except the counter color I dislike no closet. My likes are the storage outside and the little pantry. And the awning and the wet bay outside. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
I'm impressed with the amount of storage + I think the red countertop is cute+ the little pantry with adjustable shelves and the wet bay. Dislikes: - too snug & compact for me, add 2 feet and you'd be able to have a fairly comfortable couch for 2 -the shower setups is interesting, but it makes both parts of the bathroom tighter than if they were one room and -the rear beds should be able to connect. Maybe one side used as a couch and put the TV across from it & when the connection part pulls out the back cushion can fill the space.
It’s certainly convenient especially if the back seats were removed for a small sofa or additional galley space. I’m so used to seeing these in Europe I would like something that could extend the space. Prices are ridiculous!
I was in love with the Coachmen Galleria 24A but I think I might like this one just as much. It would be a tough decision. Just to fill you in on the cassette toilet.... the toilet swivels for a better seating position. However, I agree it does seem tight with the sink right next/infront of it. I do like the shower setup. I actually prefer the outdoor kitchen option over just having the storage compartment.
when are these companies going to get real with the pricing? it's not a bad unit just not worth the asking price. MSRP $ LOL SALE PRICE LOL. If that is not bad enough then the interest. Buyer be careful. stop buying and the price will come down some.
I’m always dumbfounded at the prices of Class B and B+ RV’s. I personally think they’re a ripoff, but if you have too much money and don’t mind spending it something that’s way overpriced, go for it. I get why people want a small rig, but geez. This unit is nice and I’m sure they’ll sell well to the niche market willing to pay for it. It’s on a Ford Transit, not even a Mercedes, but I guess that’s good when it comes to maintenance on the drive train.
As an owner of a 2022 Ekko, I am very disappointed with your INCOMPLETE review. Major misses are the solar package, battery compartment with 320 or 640 amps, interior color options, second ALTERNATOR under hood for charging (generator is option), ducted air, and storage when you lift beds. I'm guessing the EKKO may not be the only review you have missed major important points on an RV. It's in the details. It's like KNOW before you TOW but SHOW instead.
Do you think is a good option the Ekko as I’m downsizing from a luxury 43 feet to this , also I like the awd as I’m in Idaho with a lot of gravel roads. Thank you
I’m sorry, but I don’t know why anyone would pay $160,000 for a Class C RV with a tiny sink, a wet bath with a cheap plastic toilet and nothing but a tiny uncomfortable bench seat for seating😩
@@blessedveteran Unfortunately, people panicked when supplies were low and got screwed by paying full MSRP+ for RVs and vehicles instead of waiting a year for their 30% discounts👍
Its a great vehicle, im waiting on the Ekko Sprinter myself in 2024, as they're finally offering a induction cooktop and more solar/battery power for off-grid.
Likes: Nice outside storage, built on a Ford for easy places to get maintenance, AWD. Dislike: Toilet, dining area, red counter top, high price. Thank you for the video. Blessings to you.
it looks like the 2023,22, 21 model year lol time for a change Winnebago! like change the interior colors, get rid of that cassette toilet and go for the black tank and maybe add some color to the exterior!
You missed storage under the beds, and to mention the froli system under the mattress. I don't remember if you mentioned the holding tanks capacity. Those are very important specs. There is a knock-off (2024 Entegra Condor 22T) that I like some of the differences. Instead of the 2-seater in the dinning area, they have an L-shape seating area. I would like back and neck support because the cushion is only to the mid-of the back. I don't think nobody could travel for hours unless is a kid.. Nevertheless, it is a good start. The bathroom I could go either way. I will have to use both to decide. The 2nd change they did is that they are using a counter top (storable) induction cooktop. I saw the "Fit RV" do this and thought it is a great idea. It allows more countertop. Something the "Fit RV" couple did and I hope Winnebago and all Ekko knock-offs do is changing the fridge/freezer. While I hope get an Ekko witting the next three years, that narrow fridge will not work for me. Very likely I will need the chest fridge of the outside kitchen. Finally, I would like that all manufacturers figure out and add an EV charger to charge the house batteries in a Tesla or anther brand of EV charger.
I agree the seating area could be more comfortable. I look at the storage and think my fishing group of 4 guys could use this - plenty of room for fishing rods, tackle, etc. but two guys would not fit in those little seats. It's also pricey.
This will not work for four guys. My GF and our 2 dogs max out the space in ours. We love it coming from the Sprinter platform, compared to that does actually feel roomy. Bath works great, and the only real issue was the Balmar 174 recall. Got that taken care of at NIRV Vegas, as well as a couple other minor issues, wer're good to go. Transit outperforms the Sprinter hands down.
Matt….Re. your knees being uncomfortable under the sink when you were on the toilet, Winnebago claims that the toilet in the Ekko swivels. Perhaps it would be more comfortable if swiveled.
Incredible design only matched by its ridiculously high MSRP. There is no mention of the build quality issues or the fact that it is one of Winnebago's most recalled products. Do yourself a favor if you are thinking about plunking this amount of cash: Wait a couple more years until they can fix production issues and reliably deliver a decent product.
General rv offered me $23k less than rvone/blue compass, for my class c for trade to a new class A. General rv had great price on the class A, but trade value was even less than camping world and $13k less than Brown's rv in SC. I guess to get best price on New rv from gen rv you need to sell your rv yourself. This occurred last week.

Hard to fit all the features of this in a short video but you didn't mention the three solar panels and the lithium battery. Only thing is bring the Transit diesel to the US. Long ago I predicted the demise of the 3-way fridge and the popularity of Lithium. Trust me Propane will eventually be phased out for all electric cooking and liquid fuel heat.
The entegra/jayco copy of the ekko has no propane. There are multiple off the shelf gasoline powered water and air heaters available now, no real reason to put propane on small motorhomes. There's nothing powerful enough for the bigger motorhomes yet though.
@@xToddmcx I don't want a gasoline heater. I was referring to something like the Aqua Hot diesel heaters. They will get smaller. What model is the Jayco/Entegra? I would like to look at that.

It is year three for EKKO - and they still have uncomfortable passenger/dinette seats. New prototype 2024 Jayco Entegra Condor @mylesrv has lounge seating, but it needs work too. Wingamm has the best. Overall, though, EKKO would be my top choice for (future) solo traveler who does not want a toad. Campervan is just too small, plus no outdoor storage. The Ekko is deff the best Class B RV in the United State as today....but differently by far NOT the best is the World... As you all know the Class B RV is way superior in Europe due to the fact that all roads there are very old and very small...So they had to make smaller and compact Class B RVs since the beginning of "time'...going back the 1960s with the VW Westfalia. In the other hand due to the fact that the US has much more space and we are all about "the bigger the better"...we end up focusing more time on the Class A and C right until COVID hit us, them the Class B exploded here...(This is a common situation with cars as well...Europe always thought about smaller and compact cars (Mini, fiat 500, MG, Triumph etc) and the US always focused on the big V8s and power. ...Sad to say but Europe is way ahead than the US when it comes to Class B RVs ... at least 20 years on designs, finish, quality, ideas and specially on Price. But Matt, you told us, MULTIPLE TIMES, that there is no such thing as a B+? I never understood why all the major RV manufacturers recognized the B+ as a thing, but “The Almighty Matt” said that there really is no such thing as a B+. Of course now that General RV is selling Winnebago and Winnebago wants the Ekko to be known as a Class B+, he’s now admitting that there is such a thing as a B+. Typical RV salesman. This is not an RV review channel, it’s a sales pitch for the RVs that are sold at General RV.
For Christ sake, what don't you love Foxcroft? Can't wait to depose you one day on what you actually know about these coffins on wheels. I recommend anyone watching these videos to check with the BBB, the FTC and your States Attorney general on the number of complaints filed against the builders and the dealerships who refuse to honor the warranty in a reasonable amount of time. You will have claims and probably day one.
Dang, that sucks that the rv industry has hurt you so bad. Well hopefully the millions of folks that rv every year will listen to your warning and never buy another vehicle and the world will be right again. By the way, you are officially banned from watching anymore rv videos....your therapist told you to stop putting yourself through this type of pain.
Ugly.....good two propane tanks...cassette wins every time....always the little sink with Winnebago.....shower good..need power bed lift for more storage room
The J in Jayco is for JUNK. Once again people haven't done their homework on the product. The reputation for these Companies is shite. SUE THEM! Sue Jayco and the Dealer. Stop fawning over a dealer who isn't helping you. The RV industry is a bunch of scam artists. They are building junk and then they refuse to honor their warranty. We need more laws forcing this industry to step up. That roof looks horrible with all the wrinkles in it. It shouldn't be like that and the Dealer is just waiting you out until the warranty is up. Liz, your are being fast to easy on these mostly Warren Buffett owned companies. I'm tired of the overpriced junk that people get stuck with. 50k down the drain. People shouldn't have to be experts in RVs to get one that's built right. Just look at the BBB and FTC complaints. Sue, Sue, Sue... The only way they will step up.

Thise two extra seats are a no go for me. A lounge would be much better or even a desk! Agreed, the red countertop is lame. The stove should be turned to have more counter space and why no convection oven??
First of... you think you want a big ass fridge ... this one.. has two!!! one inside and one outside.. .. go buy yourself a schoolbus if you want to drive a house and house size appliances
Hopefully ALL other RV manufacturers will start offering this kind of convertible bathroom/shower in place of wet baths which virtually no one likes.
For 160,000 you can buy a small house…
Hehehe NO, NO, NO
I stopped watching at the 6 minute mark just after Andrea asked if that was a Cassette Toilet. C'mon people, dumping 5 gallons of anything is going to be heavy, messy and there will always be some splash-back. Back on the farm they were called outhouses.
You appear to be still dealing with the trauma of using an outhouse growing up .
So who has access to delete comments here?
But Matt, you told us, MULTIPLE TIMES, that there is no such thing as a B+? I never understood why all the major RV manufacturers recognized the B+ as a thing, but “The Almighty Matt” said that there really is no such thing as a B+. Of course now that General RV is selling Winnebago and Winnebago wants the Ekko to be known as a Class B+, he’s now admitting that there is such a thing as a B+. Typical RV salesman. This is not an RV review channel, it’s a sales pitch for the RVs that are sold at General RV.
Winnebago calls it a C / as it’s a C. It’s no van.
Omg here u r again! Will u stop with your drama?? 🙄
Matt im not sure im sold on the 'Prime Pooping position', can you really just poop in the reviews for absolute review stature
Now how did I not know it would be a Ford...? 🙄🤮
👍
Ugly.....good two propane tanks...cassette wins every time....always the little sink with Winnebago.....shower good..need power bed lift for more storage room
No outside kitchen
This is Merica! Quit pushing Euro! We left Europe for a reason 😂 way to expensive
Amen!
Dislike the sink is to small, no place for trash, and I hate the red counter. Likes I like the size, I like the chassis, and I like the table
Not impressed! For a Winnebago at that price they better step the quality up!!
Why all this "euro" crap? What's wrong with 'Murika?
Matt you are not in Europe anymore, enough.
Did he go to Europe or something?
yes they did and haven't shut up about it since.@@kymandjamesshh
You go to Italy....and you're eating mcnuggets in a mcdonald's ?!?!?! smh
Overpriced
