This is an incredible build. I’ve been riding Honda and Kaw for the past 14 years, but the allure of the Harley has always been there. Seeing work like this makes me want to head into the dealer with my order.
I know what you mean about solo riding. I enjoy it more than in groups. I can stop when I want, go where I want. I rode the NC500 in October and it was fabulous. Bike looks great and congrats on the new arrival.
I am a little late to the party here but I am stoked for your build thanks for sharing I hope you’re staying safe and enjoying being a dad! I would buy a Pan America tomorrow if my wife would let me... I am all about crushing the miles and taking the back roads!
Congratulations on becoming a dad and also on turning out another amazing bike. Hope times are good and C19 isn't messing you up. Looking forward to seeing your next project.
I'm stoked to look in the comments and not having anyone saying goto xxxx min.... Still halfway through can't wait to see the rest of the video. And you're correct it's my 1st time to your channel.
Great blog Mark. The road is long and far with many twists and turns that's life. Nice to hear about the littern, a girl you have been busy. I wonder if you looked up Laverda???? Would be nice to meet up when we are out of this crap hole. Laters.
Well done, great build🎉👍 Yes there is something in those easy rides, when you cruising without rushing from A-to B and just enjoying the beauty of surroundings 😎 ride safe.
Looks awsome. I just finished a 90 sportster. I started wanting to do a full scrambler.wound up with a combination of scrambler/bobber/chopper. I love the way it looks but it's the last year of the 4 speed. Not very comfortable to ride. Shakes too much and revs like crazy over 50mph.
Not a fan of the speedo placement but damn that bike is absolutely badass. Probably the nicest I've seen from an independent. 100 pct envious my friend. Got my 1st sporty back in the early 80s and been on them ever since. Had several big twins among others along the way but always come back to the sportster.
My dealer had a Roland Sands High Pipe on the shelf. I thought it was full price so I passed on looking at it too closely. Finally a salesman caught me looking at it on my 4th trip to the dealer. "You know it's only $269. We used it trying to make a Cafe Racer and it didn't work out. Zero miles on the exhaust." Cha-Ching! Sold!
sick bike, great bike! If you have the time and could make a total cost video. Don't know what kind of budget I need, to do a complete build, not just little upgrades. Thanks!
Excellent video and great build, congratulations on becoming a Dad. I would be very interested when this bike comes onto the market. Hoping you possibly post an add on the sporster sickness page when you do decide to sell 🤟
Excellent bike and a great culmination in this video. Having jumped back and forth from HD to adv and back again twice, here are a couple things to be prepared for. ADV bikes are so comfortable and easy to ride around town and for days on end on trips. You will love it. Adv bikes, for me, don’t have the character of a JD and you will miss the customization and sense of uniqueness. It’s going to happen. But no matter which style I’m in, I miss things about the other. Hopefully you can own two bikes at some point.
Great video! This is why I follow your channel👍 your commitment, your enthusiasm and your love for motorcycles, especially sportsters creates a good feeling and the editing is spot on👌 Congrats on being a dad!
I love that bike, so nice! Congrats on your new baby & I 100% agree with your comments about Sportsters, my buddies all ride bigger bikes & can’t understand why I ride a Sportster, they just don’t get it, I think Sportsters are awesome, currently on my 3rd one, nice job!
Nice build - that's a really good looking result! It would be interesting to know your thoughts/experiences of the modern liquid cooled Triumph Bonnevilles, they fall into 900cc and 1200cc models and would make an interesting comparison with the 883 and 1200 Sportsters .
Congrats on the bike and being a dad! I had my first born in August, I was in the middle of my build when she graced this world so the build had to wait and that was fine because being a dad is so awesome! I did a bunch more of installing parts in October, then got hit by an old ady in November putting me off work with lots of broken ribs, level 3 ac joint seperation, dislocated shoulder, punchured lung, busted up knee and tons of ligament damage.I am still battling with her insurance. What did you end up doing with the old s&e tear drop air cleaner cover? Mine was damaged in the accident and I would love to buy it for the right price! Also, did the bike have stock mirrors when you got it by any chance? I could use a set of those also😂 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Glad you are back! Much love from Atlantic Canada!
Love the bike mate well done Good to see you back vloging keep it up bud Also I love adventure bikes I'm aiming to have one join my sporty in the garage aswell 👍
Congrats on the build and the new addition and everything else lol. I would love to do a collab with you. I’m not a massive youtuber but would love to do something with you even if it’s just a meet up. I’ve got a softail slim and even if it’s a chat and a coffee it would be cool to meet up. Let me know your thoughts mate. All the best
I personally wouldn't do this to a Harley, as I enjoy the "Potatoe" trademarked sound. However, like you said the customization is to express yourself not Joe Smo down the street. With that being said, I think the bike is cool. By the way, I ride a 94 Honda Magna VF750C.
I keep reading that A/T or dual sport tires aren’t good for the street because they don’t have enough traction and grip. It can be dangerous. Can you or someone give me more insight on this, please? I love the aggressive look but also don’t want to put myself in an even more dangerous situation and unsteady ride. Thanks I’m advance for any feedback.
Nice video ,i can appreciate Harleys like the Low rider s for example but the Pan America is the ugliest bike I've seen in a long time, its like they got a Chinese designer who never rode a bike or ever seen a BMW GS or a Honda Africa twin " possibly the two most successful adventure bikes ever" to come up with an idea , a missed opportunity i think .You'll have no problem selling the sportster its a nice bike .well done

I got a custom fxbb plus a bmw 1200gsa greet build. Congratulations on the newborn.
Congratulations on becoming a dad and also on turning out another amazing bike. Hope times are good and C19 isn't messing you up. Looking forward to seeing your next project.

I have a Harley fat bob and i have just purchased an adventure bike too, the Triumph Tiger 900 gt pro. absolutely love it. good to see you back
Great to have you back bro! Nice looking build too! Well done ! I’m sure you have learnt loads! Looking forward to the next adventure
Kudos to you for the stunning bike you’ve created and the skills you’ve learned along the way. You should be very proud of your achievements!
You should be proud of this build. To juggle a full time job with a newborn...that takes some serious time management skills!
Yep, I'm on that adventure train too. Keeping my sporty and buy a adventure bike as my second bike 😁
Good to see you vlogging again 👍🏻
Looks great! How’s it ride?
Great to see your back, hurry up with more videos, from Steve in Australia

Nice to see you back. very cool bike. Do miss my 48. Thanks
Congrats nice little sportster idk why everyone knocks on the HD sportster but its the best platform to build your own style
Great blog Mark. The road is long and far with many twists and turns that's life. Nice to hear about the littern, a girl you have been busy. I wonder if you looked up Laverda????

Well done young fella, you and the missus!
New daughter, new bike..... busy times!

Congrats all 'round. And that sporty is smokin'!
Looks very nice! Would like to see a test ride/review of it though.
Dope bike !!!! I’m turning my Dyna Scrambler now
Great Project. Congrats..What mirrors have you fitted?
nice job , colour is nice and subtle , as for adventure _ have a ride on on a wr450;; no excess weight or or frills needed.

Just abit of advice
Im thinking of my first harley davidson sportster 1200 2003
Its a carb
What do you think on the carb model?
Excellent bike and a great culmination in this video.

Love it. Harley should make one available right out of the factory.
Love the sportster and congrats on the new baby

What tires are those?? What size did you get?
Hi mark congrats m8 . Hope you all keeping well 🇬🇧👍
beauty of Harley is...you can modify it in anyway you want to. In all my years of riding, I’ve never seen a stock Harley on the street.
Congrats bike looks great brother
Awesome video of an awesome project. Bravo
Nice bike! Where can I find that seat?
That exhaust looks soooooo good
What kind of rear turn signals did you use?
Love that appliance grey color.
Congratz to be a dad 😊 really awsome bike 🤩 i am a little late to se this but anyways super awsome bike 👍🏻
Excellent job, really love the bike. No shame getting help either, knowing your limits is a strength :-)
Is that the stock wheel on back? If so, what tire is on there?
What engine you used? How many CC's?
Congrats on the build and the new addition and everything else lol. I would love to do a collab with you. Freaking amazing ! Great job.

Thats a beautiful machine!

Unless you repack the muffler and install a more robust baffle the RSD is Potato-Potato only louder.
What rear shocks are those and height 15"?
Great looking bike :)
Rugged effective and flat out cool
Come on, give us a vid dad, been a long time!
I need to see a video about the bike at 3:38 😍
Hi, thx. for this nice Video.
I´m a big Fan of Harley Scrambler Bikes. 🙂
Greetings from Hamburg/Germany ^^
How much did the conversion cost?
Great looking bike, Newb I hope I can find the money to buy it. GOD bless.
Honestly liked the bike better before you touched it
What kind of tires?
Those high pipes are cool but not cool in inside of leg! I still got burn marks be careful!

Definitely not true, but will wear faster. Of course the rubber compound makes a big difference, no matter what the tread looks like.
@@jimstenlund6017 Thank you!! I might just get them as my next pair of tires. Appreciate you responding again.
Hey dad... Oh man, cool bike. You need to go get it muddy and pull a whelie on it so we can see it in action. Lol. 👌
ITS MARCH!!!!!
Damn! Bad ass!
Cheers
@7:39 😍
If you want to build a bike, build it! If you want to ride, buy one and ride.
