Did you pay for the Desk Pro out-of-pocket or did you get sponsored by Cisco? I need to demo the Desk Pro for my job but $12K for an endpoint is a deal breaker. Any idea where I can get one on loan or rent?
Hi Great Video, Can you please share if the DX80 have a 16 user display capabilities at the same time for Corporate meetings ? Does the Pro automatically detect and display all users in the same meeting without user intervention. (Example Changing view options by tapping)
could you do a video about how to get android working on the device (dx80) or show some other way to get third party applications? I saw some fairly old videos on youtube, where showed off angry birds and stuff. That aside, just want to confirm, so cisco dx 80 does in fact not have an webbrowser, therefore you can't use it for other videoconfering than webex meetings. 'Did i geht that right? Thanks in advance
Unfortunately Android is no longer the OS running on the endpoints (DX80, etc). There is a browser based engine in the Desk Pro, Room Kits and Webex Board however that you can leverage. For instance, in this video i put a web app for MS Office and could edit a PPT slide through 0365 online. ruclips.net/video/GOcmN4BlH8o/видео.html The DX80 does not have the juice to do this, unfortunately, just the newer systems... 😕
Correct, no browser on the DX80. Technical the DX80 will work with Zoom CRC SIP connector and MSFT Teams CVI, however. These are both SIP connection though, not browser based.
What do you think? Desk Pro or DX80?
dx pro
pl let me know is Desk Pro supports to the XML application menu as well, that you show as in DX80
It does!
Have you tried on puttig the software of the deskpro on the dx80 for having web engine...?
Wish that worked... not possible unfortunately

I would reach out to your cisco account team or Cisco reseller. There are demo programs as well as "hardware as a service" options.
Can the laptop detect the camera so we use the camera with the laptop for other purposes?
Thank you for the video.
It can! For example, the camera of the Desk Pro shows up as a USB Camera device and will work with MS teams, Zoom, Gotomeeting, etc
Some great info there. Thank you.
Missing a bit the info/demo on the difference between them on daily working with these devices.
Fair enough. I might have to circle back around to these and do another one more to that aim... thx!

A larger Grid View is coming to the DX80 VERY shortly. Today it can do 2x2 in the near future it will be 4x4 and I believe even larger.
Good short summary
