This guys deserves more recognition!
You've got that right!
Saw him a year ago. Great player. Wish him a bright future.
First time I saw Matthew play and sing was in Todd Bottle's back yard when he was 14 or 15 years old. We were talking with so friends before before he started playing and sing,,,,,,,,,,,,the minute he got to the mic, everyone stopped talking and looked to see who was singing..........couldn't believe how soulful this young man sounded, and are not surprised how far he has come.......Good luck, Matthew........you got this!!! See you at Beerfest.
2021 coming back this...
just looked up the local venue's calendar and saw this dude playing next month. come here to check him out and sure as shit this is shot at my local venue. good sound.. just might have to go see him.
Damn that was good. Old school good!
I wish I could play like this guy
🎉 geat song man!
Wow. You're gonna make it big! Rock on. 👍
A great player playing a great guitar, that's an awesome matchup.
hes good!!
This guy killed it lol
Very good band!
bardzo ładnie Matthew !!!
Fantastic...reminds me of Johnny Lang
Good Music..... Funny how everyone has negative comments. I don't see you guys out there playing. If your not playing on the big stages then maybe you need to keep the negative stuff for your garage band mates.
do not worry. They are jealous.
I used to have a 62 White reissue that looked kinda like that guitar
people criticized Srv for sounding like jimi and Albert king... remember that
This song could be way better if he had a different bass player. I think it needs more powerful fills from the low end in the chorus and verses.
+Elias Valgeirsson Totally agree. The bass player is lazy. He is simply copying the guitar line and is failing to be a part of the rhythm section. I mean even if he worked in some fifths and octaves it would be better than hanging on the root.
+BBEEAANN to bad tim is matt's favorite bass player every, dude usually plays two danelectros, classic rock aint about fancy bass. This is matthew curry and the fury lol
Sean Gray
Yes, because guitarists don't want bassist to do anything but hang on the root. That is the thing about most guitarists, they want to say everything and forget the great rhythm sections that were given room to speak are what made the greatest bands in the world of rock music. Listen to Hendrix. Do you actually believe that Noel Redding and Mitchel weren't responsible for making Jimi sound great? What about Kieth Moon and John Entwhistle? How about Chad Smith and Flea? If you don't let your bassist breath you smother your sound. This is exactly what Tim is doing.
BBEEAANN Mitch Mitchell actually, in The Hendrix Experience. Not Ginger Baker.
Elias Valgeirsson Sorry. I had deleted my statement about Cream and replaced it with Hendrix and didn't delete enough. Regardless of the mistake, my statement still stands. If you force a bassist to hang on the root you kill the rhythm section, and the power of the band. The drive in the band is the bass, not the guitar.
He pretty much sounds like Doyle Bramhall ii copying Stevie Ray copying Jimi... In about 10 years he may find his own thing. If you think I am FOS go listen to DBii
