If you have issues w/back pain, either lumbar or cervical, this chair will probably be the most comfortable chair you've ever owned & will add hours to how long you can stay seated. I have 7 herniations in my spine, multiples causing impingement, nerve damage & pain, & took a gamble w/this chair in hopes this would be the result. The lumbar support in this chair is unbelievable, & I suspect this design will be coped by many other manufactures in the future. The only other reviewer here said it feels like you're being hugged, & that's perfectly put. Because of this however, you do have a strict neutral sitting position. If you've got back issues, you need to be sitting straight anyway. It threw me off a little only on the 1st day, & after that I began to appreciate it. The seat is also perfectly sloped for proper circulation, but this can also add to the forward feeling. While neutral might be strict, the 2nd greatest thing about this chair is it's reclined position. It's so unbelievably comfortable that it puts me to sleep if I stay that reclined more than 5 mins. That lumbar support keeps hugging you regardless of positioning, & it feels fantastic. Another part of what makes reclining so great is the adjustable waterfall back, which the other reviewer complained about, but I am very thankful for. If you have issues with your neck, independent headrests tend to only complicate them. My last chair triggered migraines if I ever fell asleep in it, & I never felt truly comfortable reclined. The waterfall back here cradles your neck, & you don't run out of room side to side, like w/a tiny separate headrest. The back also doesn't have a taper to it, so if you've got broader shoulders you're fully supported. As for the armrests, there have been complaints that this type is too easily moved, & they are easily shifted, but NEVER while you're actually using them. I'm an audio engineer & a gamer, so I spend way too much time in chairs, especially considering my medical issues. Using a mouse to aim is essential in FPS games, & this chair manages that perfectly. I've got a large L desk w/two PC's & I actually appreciate how easily they move allowing me easy access to things on my peripherals & get out of the chair quickly. Besides, you get used to where the pressure points are, & within days you no longer accidentally move them. My complaint about them is actually their shape. I have no idea why w/a chair that is usable in any position, they would make angled armrests? I don't understand the point of angled over flat armrest in the first place, since you're essentially making part of the rest unusable w/an angle. I think its the biggest mistake here. People have differently shaped forearms, don't force a shape on us w/angles. I'm already used to them after spending about 48hrs total in the chair, but I still think it's an unfortunate design choice & I much prefer flat armrests. That's the thing though, it's got some small issues here & there, but the benefits far outweigh them. Lastly, who isn't this chair for? If you don't have any physical need for the lumbar support beyond comfort, you may not appreciate it as much as I do. I have degenerative joint & disk disease, so the chair not only supports my spine, but also my shoulders & hips, which can also cause me pain. Also, there might be sizing issues for some body types. I'm 5'11" 180lbs & the chair fits me like a glove. If you have thick thighs or a large posterior, the seat might be too tight a fit for you. Also w/the seat height raised fully, I touch the floor flat-footed, & my torso is long, so anyone over 6'1" w/long legs, might not experience the same perfect fit I have. Oh, & there is also the appearance. I got the "white" version. That's in quotes because it's not quite white. The mesh is basically silver & black which appears grey together & the white also has a greyish quality to it. It's still very nice looking, just don't expect stark white, the way it appears here. That's mostly from the set lights blasting it. It's definitely impressive in the looks department, but it's also incredibly heavy. Don't build it by yourself if you've got back issues. The coasters are top-notch, so once together, you never feel that weight. There are some weird impressions in the plastics from the interior molds, but none of these things are a deal breaker. Far from it. The other reviewer gave the chair 7/10 & I'm going to up that to 8/10 for how impressive it is for people with back pain issues or injuries. I never could have dreamed I'd find a chair this comfortable at this price, but somehow I did. And there weren't many reviews that weren't paid reviews when I made the leap purchased it, so I wanted to add my experience here in case someone has questions about these things. I got lucky jumping in blind, but you don't have to. I do believe we'll see this design copied in the future, & possibly even become the standard, it's just that good. It's one of those designs that make you wonder why it took someone this long to come up with it! I hope I've helped someone out w/this short novel & that you have a great experience whatever chair you might choose. -Cheers

I think you're right at the point to where it could be iffy. I suppose it depends on your leg length. If you've got long legs, It might not work for you. In neutral position w/the seat at it's highest, I sit flatfooted, & I'm 5'11" w/shorter legs.

I've heard people complain about this, but they're only awkward for the first day or so, then you learn the nuances & where to grab the chair to move it. I prefer them being easy to move as someone that works w/multiple computers at a massive L desk. They also never move when you're actually resting on them, or gaming w/a mouse.

Alright, here's he verdict, it's been a week, so TL;DR 7/10 Best part is definitely the lumbar support, that bit is 10/10, you actually get the "hug" sensation when you sit in it, so if you are looking for a better posture and a comfortable back support chair, definitely get it, can't praise it enough. But 3 points deduction: 1. No head rest, it is baffling why they chose a to have the back "be" the headrest, it's sorely lacking any support, so please release a headrest alternative. 2. The mesh- The mesh is rugged, so durable, but also quite rough. You better be wearing clothes when you sit on this chair and not wearing shorts. Or else you'll be quite uncomfortable. But mind you I've only been sitting on it for a week, so it might mellow out as it wears out. 3. the seat itself is in a bucket shape, all you people who like to sit with your legs crossed under your ass are going to be uncomfortable depending on your size, bigger people like me will have a tough time sitting with my legs crossed, if you're tiny? you'll probably be fine. ALL IN ALL, it's recommended, but the no headrest thing really is a let-down, but the quality is great, it's comfortable, and it's a decent price at approx. 300.
Cool! 🤩Thank you for your sincere and professional sharing! Also we've taken note of your suggestion and we've sent it back to our product department to check it out, it's very helpful! 💯🤗
As an owner of this chair that also has lower back issues, I can second that the lower lumbar support of this chair is phenomenal. It feels amazing, & when you kick the chair back, it's so comfortable I can fall asleep in minutes. As far as the back rest; I don't' want anything to do w/a separate headrest. They trigger migraines for me (also have cervical spine issues) & basically always crick my neck. I find the waterfall back to be far more comfortable. As for point 2, I agree completely & have a throw over mine. Same w/point three. Just because of the nature of the lumbar support, you will sit forward. It's neutral position is basically perfect posture. I also really love this, but it might not be for everyone. As a 170lb 5'11 male, the chair fits me perfectly. If you're heavier or have more robust thighs & behind, this chair might be a tight fit. I mostly agree w/the review, but I'd give the chair an 8/10 because I love he waterfall back design, & reclining the chair wouldn't be nearly as comfortable w/a separate headrest.
