I'm so glad I finally got a chance to check out your channel! This is quite impressive I have to say! I'm sorry to hear you had to deal with a lot of issues with the flight reservations, but at least you made it to Malaysia and have a really nice hotel to stay in. I'm excited to see your RUclips videos from your time in Malaysia! Great video!
We prefer to slow travel - a month or more in each place. Two months in Malaysia starting next week. We hate rushing but prefer to savour the true taste of places. Enjoy your journeys.
Just came across your channel, great video. Myself I just started full time traveling this past June 22 2024. I guess we all have criteria to what is “visiting” a country. Mine is spending at least 3 days in a country for me to count it as being visited. This way I can see the sites, try the food and learn their culture. But technically you are correct was stepping into the country you technically were there. Safe travels and best of luck on your channels.
It's difficult to find a balance! we've spent a couple of years spending lots of time in each country, now I think we're just number hunting haha but we'll see what we enjoy more!
Welcome to Malaysia, As at 2.38 am on the 1st Dec’24…your current subs is 37.9K. This is your first content in Malaysia and I tell you Malaysia is a gold mine to gain more subs because generally we can speak and understand English rather well…so that is one factor your viewership will spike and they probably wont sub yet but you will see the massive traction when the day breaks tomorrow. Keep your content purely honest but devoid local politic, racial and religious sensitivity. Malaysians have a genuine concept of welcoming guests with fully extended arms but keep your judgment close only to your heart. Nothing in the world is perfect and nothing is too ugly. Your thread your needle right…you will see 50-100K subs easily within a week or two. Malaysia is one of highest rate of premium youtube subs in Asia. Good luck you too. ( mine is low because I hardly post anything)
I’m sure you guys will come across hk airport in the future . If you do , try a day or two in macau . Besides the casinos the old town got a lot of Portuguese colonial history to tell and the food is unique too . it’s a 50 min jetfoils ferry ride . Or if you are near hk airport I suggest to take the HKMZ bridge to macau(world longest bridge) . Also 50 min and are conveniently located .
If you're going to Macau, make sure you go to Coloane village and try the egg tarts at Lord Stow's. It's some distance from the main tourist area, but that's where you'll find the best ones.
Looking forward to following your journey to 100 countries! Could you please tell me what the app was that you showed that tracks the countries you have visited. Thanks
Things to do - 1. Islands 2. Highlands 3. Beaches 4. Traditional villages with rivers or waterfalls. 5. Orang utan/elephant conservation centre. 6. Deep jungle hiking (if you do love nature). 7. Visit different states, travel using expres buses. Cheap and comfortable. Avoid travelling on weekend or public holidays. 8. Stay in Malaysia but you could organise a day trip to Singapore, or south Thailand (perhaps 2-3 days) and Brunei.
What app was that where you can check off the countries you've visited? Sorry you had to deal with that mess up, it can be really stressful, especially when it's happening overseas. I had my own nightmare with Qantas earlier this year. I asked for my flight from Lima to Brisbane (with 1 stopover) moved by 1 week. They moved the stop over section of my flight by 7 months (Lima to Dallas, Texas) and left the other (Dallas to Brisbane). I then called them to rectify this, so they decided to cancel a non related flight. I don't know what's going on there but Qantas is tough to deal with at the best of times. I ended up asking them to cancel the entire thing so I could just rebook the whole lot. Anyway that's my rant.
As soon as you mentioned QANTAS no further explanation was need. QANTAS has been going downhill for the last 20 years and no surprise to me. Long time ago we arrived at Sydney Airport to fly to UK and we were the only people in the QANTAS queue but the ground staff (female) ignored us a for a good 45 minutes and she was busy chatting on her mobile for the entire time. That was the last time QANTAS was a plane of our choice
Haha that’s crazy, the exact same thing happened to me a few years back! A Qantas employee was just chatting to another employee about her weekend and I had to wait until their conversation to finish despite needing to get a flight that was already boarding! 🤣 I said ‘excuse me, could you please’ and she just put her hand up to me 🤣 rough
#46 may just be your lucky number guys. Enjoy Malaysia, truly Asia.
☺️ Here's hoping! 🤞
Cannot wait for these next few countries
Great videos as always
😊 we've got a lot lined up!! Thanks for watching!

If you are counting Hong kong , count Macau as one as well
We're definitely counting hongkong but we're also idiots who didn't take advantage of going to Macau haha huge rookie error!
