I totally love your bird, he/she looks like a parrot only much smaller. I have 2 cockatiels and I made seed sprout from mixed seed same as your using but so far they don't seem to want it, they are such fussy little buggers. Judging by the black sunflower seed you had in your hand, I am going to try a batch of them. I had same result as those you sprouted but like yours they only produced fine shoots like hair, that's reason I'm going for black ones, wish me luck. (I'll do anything for my birds, they have me well trained lol).
apple cider has more nutrients but the white vinegar may produce a smell that could prevent ur birds from eating. Should still work but rinse it very well :)
I had inadvertently gotten water in the seed dish because it was larger than what I normally use. The seeds germinated very quickly without me doing anything, I did not use apple cider vinegar at all. If it does not occur naturally when the birds eat outside in nature, I don't add it. Apple cider vinegar does not naturally occur on seeds, unless they are on apple. I want my birds to be as close to natural as possible.
Thanks!..I feel really dumb tho never knew about this healthy trick after owning my birds for nearly 2 years 😶 will definitely try this 👍👍
i feed mine with sprouts every morning 😁

👍thanks for the help. From Tampa Fl😎🇺🇸
thank you! 🌱🦜
Great video and instructions :D Sprouted seeds are very similar to the seeds found in the wild! dried seeds are not the best for the feathered kids
Very straight forward and helpful. Thanks for not using a special sprouting jar / device.

Great video! Will all wild birds be healthier for eating these sprouts too?
Thank you so much! What seeds do you buy for your bird?
How many times a week can u feed cockteils sprouts?
is sprouted red sorghum safe on my african lovebirds?
Is there any alternative for apple cider vinegar
from what I know vinegar is the most common bacterial killing product for birds, even used for cleaning the water or food recipients
do you wash them with apple cider vinegar every day or only the first day?
How long can they be in the fridge? Ty
is it possible to use white vibegar instead of apple cider?

@@FuadPhenomenon thanks
@@FuadPhenomenon i would like to ask how often can we give sprouts to our bird ? will the bird get diarhea if we give it daily?
@@kennethporras9029 I wouldn't recommend it to be the primary nutrition. It is a better idea to vary their diet with the regular seeds along too!
@@FuadPhenomenon can i give this to birds everday?
Along with dry seeds and veggies
Can you clean the seeds again with apple cider vinegar once they have sprouted?
Is regular vinigar fine?
Yes
Good video but I never heard anyone refer to mold as "fungus materials" lol
