    Once they cut those 2 sub Atlantic cables on Sunday, all bets were off. Let’s hope it’s just Putin’s posturing.

      A last desperate attempt to start WW III (and to make trouble for Trump). Let's hope Putin realizes Trump will be in soon and utilizes (relative) restraint.

    Russia attacking was predictable. The USSR told the world it would never be attacked first again and what do we do? Try to put NATO on its border.

    • @AveChristusRex789
      @AveChristusRex789 Час назад +4

      Blame Russia for that. NATO members around the border of Russia only wanted to join because they are in fear of the very rule they used to be under. If it wasn’t for NATO, the Baltics for instance would be in big trouble

      No, I blame us for not listening to the warning. Ukraine isn’t the first country they attacked because we did this. This isn’t a just war on our end.

      @@AveChristusRex789that is totally false. There was no Russian aggression.

      @@paulmualdeave5063it definitely isn’t. It’s sickening to me that even people on the right still buy into this “ we never do wrong nonsense.”

      No the west is at fault. US didn't want russian arms on its border (Cuba) - remember missile crisis? But somehow NATO right next to Russian border is OK? If the US didn't stand for it, why shd Russia?

  • @standev1

    It indeed took too long. Ukraine should have been enabled to defend against the aggression with everything available.

      No you're wrong If anything Russia has been patient and you are just repeating basically the mainstream media narrative.
      The ukrainians burned Russians alive in Odessa and massacred Russians in the donbas for 8 years.
      We helped essentially do regime change in Ukraine and put in our own guy.
      And then to top it all off Ukraine is talking about joining NATO? Russia can't put up with that and America wouldn't put up with it and no other or superpower would either.

    • @PaulyWanuts
      @PaulyWanuts Час назад

      Ukraine will give up Russian territory in January. This is much deeper than your simplistic neo-con argument. The USA toppled that government, and allowed the new pro Western government to attack ethnic Russians continuously since 2014. Putin put up with it for 8 years. I think you should know that.

      @@standev1 your opinion is shortsighted and doesn't take into account that UA would constantly claim that it's some sort of limit that is ruining their chances, but Everytime the limit is lifted UA would only get bombed with more powerful bombs and RU would lift its own restriction on certain targets within UA. The ability of RU to escalate, outside of Divine intervention, is greater than UA ability to escalate. UA is also much smaller and most of its fighting population already fled, this is not the case with RU bc they feel far more comfortable with their own situation although the population wants to end this war

      @@TruckTruck-gu9vs the idea that Russia holds something back is detached from reality. Russia already fights with whatever it got.

      What does “everything available” mean? Does that mean Ukraine has a duty to use all of its own available resources to defend itself or that Ukraine have a unique right to the resources of other sovereign nations to provide for its defense?
